Ok, my laptop keeps on crashing everytime I turn it on. I can't even get to the stupid log-in screen. It's been working fine a for a good, long while now, and I had done nothing to it that would make it act this way. I thought it might've been a virus or something corrupting everything, so I did a system recovery. IT finished a few minutes ago, and guess what. It still crashes. I think I'm going to ask my parents for a new laptop for Christmas. This stupid thing didn't even last me a year (I got it last Christmas). Well, maybe I'll check if my parents bought that 1-year warranty thing. Hopefully they did. Oh yeah, I'm typing this from my old desktop. It's got a big chunky keyboard, and a 4 year old monitor that is in need of some heavy cleaning and whatnot. I'm not used to typing so much on a normal keyboard. It's so different that typing on my soft laptop keys. *wants my laptop to work* Oh yeah, this won't mean I won't play SEAL. I'm installing it as I type right now. Hm, maybe now that I'll be using a real mouse instead of a laptop pad, I can zoom out every now and then. Edit: Oh crap. I realized I just did a system recovery. That means all my music, photoshop, and whatnot are already gone. ;A; NOOOOO!!! T.T |

Aside from all the crashing, my laptop is damn good a whatever it does (aside from stay alive for more than 2 hours away from an outlet). I can play many 3d games, that even my friends' desktop can't handle, I can run photoshop and such with ease, and it's got an awesome set of speakers that are actually pretty good in quality. Heh, luckily we did get that warranty-thing, so I'll be shipping it in soon, hopefully. We had bought it Christmas Eve last year, which give me a good month to send it in, but I'd better not slack off like I do most of the time. @Flicky ~ It is scary -- if you've spent weeks like me downloading crap. ><" |
