Heh, 1st day of English class in my Freshie year was my teacher telling us how hard she'd be. And how we'd be expected to do 3hrs of reading per night, 1 essay per week, long journal entries in class every day, etc. The horror. Q_Q |

Speeches and public speaking are fun. .____.; I always enjoy being the first person up to do their project, or something in front of the class. Two reason. One, to show off. Two, because it's harder to go up after people have gone. |

Omg, my speech partner is totally brainless. We're doing an interview thing, and everytime I ask her to elaborate on her answers, she ignores me and continues to give me short little answers. (While I gave her long, in-depth ones .___. ) She also thought I was 16, lolllll. (Me=Freshman, her=Junior) |

Rofl. I don't think your speech partner is the smartest one Kai. @ Mori WRONG D8! Going first is bad. If you **** up, you look like a total dumbass and you could be doing the ENTIRELY wrong thing. Well, that may be for you. I enjoy going first because everyone else is scared as fuck to go up. All my teachers use me as an 'ice breaker' for those kins of projects. When it's a group thing, I usually have to speak up first and such to get everyone less nervous. Second sucks, especially if someone who did better than you went before you did. Then it's like going up to a talent show playing the recorder after someone just finished a floating-lawn char act, wrapped in bubble wrap while playing an electric harpsichord and frying some fish at the same time. |

No one can go first or last by their own will in my speech class. My speech teacher assigns presentation dates via the Magic Bag. (He puts in all our names into a plastic bag and draws it out one by one--That's the order we present) |

I remember one time in my speech class during my freshman days. I made a speech about Chupacabras and everyone thought I was a cannibal 8D. Ahhh...those were the days...BUT NOW I R SENIOR *cannibalizes freshman* >=D |
