Well, I know this will sound sudden to you guys, and yeah, I was planning on going ahead with a Season 5 of FTCW here, but this whole month of October has been so much of a roller coaster ride for me that I've realized what needs to be done now. The title of this topic says it all, but I will explain. Full Throttle Championship Wrestling is officially ending its run after 4+ seasons. Prototype400 is "retiring" from running E-Feds. When October started I was 100% on board with the idea of running at least 1 more season of FTCW for you guys. I even assembled a Creative Team with Josh (005), Bobby and Bryce so that we could work on FTCW together as part of a Brand Split. I was very intrigued with this idea and I wanted to see if we could do something with it. However, as October progressed I've realized that making this big Brand Split thing was going to take much more work that I had thought. Couple that with how busy we all get in our "real world" lives off the internet, and I know that this is going to take too much time to develop. Bryce has been busy doing things such as acting. Bobby and Josh do their thing going to work. I'm keeping myself busy with creative endeavors as well as writing. I understand why we're all busy, and here's what I want to add to this. One creative endeavor I'm heavily pursuing right now is starting a fan game project of a video game series I'm a fan of. I won't reveal that series here, but you can PM me via Facebook if you want more details. The fact is I'm gaining momentum while in the planning stages of this project. I'm getting support from people like concept artists, another creative writer/voice actor and a music composer. I simply can't pass this opportunity up to make something that I feel is important... so if that means I have to put away something like FTCW, so be it. I won't look back. Ultimately what I want to do is help develop video games. I want to be a part of the Video Game Industry. That's been my main goal for years now, and I refuse to give it up. If any of you guys would like to contribute to this fan game project of mine, just hit me up on Facebook and I'll see what we can do together. I'm working on Unity 3D and Blender (and soon a 3rd program will have my attention), and I'm having more fun level designing and creating models than I was running an E-Fed. That's the truth. As far as any matches you guys are writing now, you can go ahead and finish those matches and post them, but after that the 2017 FTCW Tournament will not be updated anymore. It's done. It's cancelled. I'm moving on. I feel like in a way FTCW has truly run its course, and there's really nothing more I can add to it at this point. I'm happy with how far I took FTCW, but nothing lasts forever, and this too will pass. I'm sorry that it feels like Season 2 all over again when I left abruptly in November 2013, but at least this time I can announce that I'm leaving and not have any regrets about it. I've found an open door that I want to go through, and I won't let that door shut on me. I don't know if FTCW will have a "Grand Finale" like the final episode of WCW Nitro or something, but regardless this is basically the end of the road for me, Prototype400. The username itself, Prototype400, is becoming archived to me because I've moved on to use another username elsewhere. As for all the FTCW Superstars who are now looking for work in the E-Fed Network, I wish them all the best, and wherever they go I hope they continue to kick ass. This isn't farewell from me (Facebook), but this is more like the start of a new chapter for me. I want to thank you guys for all your support. I'm out. *Prototype400 steps out of the FTCW ring for the last time and leaves* ![]() |
