*Holds his face* Oh... My face! *Takes a deep breath* Eliminated by a woman... On the plus side... *Smiles* At least I wasn't eliminated by Ryan Knight, so that's a good thing. The bad news, but mostly to Krystal... You know what happens when you screw me out of my chance with Ryan? *Takes out a clipboard, clicks a pen* Big Krystal... YOU JUST MADE MY LIST!!! *Signs 'Big Krystal'* *Looks at lottery* And wouldn't you know it? I pick the middle number because it's not too early and not too late and FTCW 'literally' throws the middle finger in my face with Robin Hood. Granted, he didn't do so bad but he didn't do good either. And boy, for all the smack we give against Krystal she did eliminate most of the competition. And Bobby, if you're still in the match, eliminate Ryan Knight for me and you'd be doing me a big favor. I'll get my well deserved victory over Ryan one of these days, but it looks like I'm not going to win the right to make that match on Lasting Legacy III at this rate. And if I have to feel sorry for some folks right now... I'm going to feel sorry for the police for trying to keep Allan under lock-and-key. They have no idea who they are dealing with. |

I will admit Catch 22 got one over on me but, as long one of the Luxury Club win the match me being eliminated from it is irrelevant. |

FTCW Grand Battle 2017 Grade & Review *In Bryce’s ‘Hall of Text’ room* *Adjusts a ‘Cody Rhodes’ style facemask* Not exactly the best I’ve ever worn, but I can make adjustments later… *Clears throat* Good evening, FTCW fanatics! This is Bryce ‘The Wrestlemaniac’ Kanyon, once again reporting live at the world famous Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas, commonly known as the Las Ventas bullring located in Eastern Madrid, Spain. What a night this has been and the Grand Battle is still going underway as the last remaining participants of the match get prepped to enter. Granted, this match didn’t exactly turn out the way I planned but just to participate in the bout and have as much time as I want beating the shit out of Ryan, I definitely would say that I proved my point that I can hold my own in a fight. As we reach the climax of the Grand Battle, it’s that time of the night to perform a review of all the active participants that have made their presence felt for better or worse starting from who performed the worst to who performed the best. 35th Place. 5) Mike Cross Talk about a stroll down memory lane with this asshole, Mike Cross, the first host of FZW, in which I was treated like total crap throughout it’s entire run (Course, they switched hosts time after time, but that’s besides the point). Now I am aware it was he who gave me my first match in FZW against two competitors for a shot at the World Championship but he pretty much set it up as a popularity contest and had it been an actual fight I would’ve nailed it. But since then, he’s used me to be talent enhancement for most of the stars that he’s bias towards which is partly the reason why I chose to leave FZW during it’s later years. If there was something very satisfying during the night was seeing him as the first man dumped out of this match, not only to show what a true spoiled sport he truly is, not only to prove who’s the worst superstar in the entire match… But ‘also’, now I know who the weakest member of The Luxury Club is. Maybe he’ll now how it’ll feel when he’s the one being mouthed off for not doing his best. F- 34th Place. 4) “The Red Carpet Superstar” Nathan Walker The self-proclaimed ‘A-List’ superstar in E-Fed history, supposedly starring in countless movies with his own entourage of hundreds of people (Or maybe just some paid-off hacks just wanting a few minutes of glory). Now, don’t get me wrong, this guy can fight and he could still have some potential to pull off some award-winning moments… But he had to choose the wrong side. But to be the latest LXC member eliminated early on during this match, Mr. Hollywood is plumbing down faster in the ratings department that the only award he’s getting from this match is a ‘Razzie’. Still, if he’s not going to cut it in this group or even the entirety of FTCW he may as well go back to the film industry. F 33rd Place. 10) T.O.M. Toonami is an awesome program for all that fans enjoy on Saturday nights: Action packed anime, no holds blood, and mature content that fans can contend with this. I know T.O.M. is practically the face behind how it’s all possible but when it comes to his time in FTCW he just isn’t a cut above the rest, hell just face the facts that he’s had more losses in his career than actual victories. Why the Luxury Club keeps him around or gives him every title opportunity that he fumbles everytime is beyond me, but you want to know what’s even more embarrassing? He actually got eliminated by NintendoCapriSun, who I’ll get to later, and to be eliminated by a man who was formerly a jobber has got to be embarrassing. Either T.O.M. wants to be taken seriously so badly… Or he can just leave, just save himself the embarrassment and realize that unless he is able to pull off the biggest victory of his career by Lasting Legacy III there are better superstars this league is willing to keep. F 32nd Place. 8) NintendoCapriSun If someone had told me last year of an idea we’d see this dude, part of the J.O.B. Squad that is ‘The Runaway Guys’, I would’ve laughed my ass off wondering what the FTCW Management was smoking if they thought NintendoCapriSun would make a difference. But on the preshow, he gave me a reason to show some respect by actually putting in the ‘effort’ to prove himself worthy and to dedicate this match to his late father, which I only found out before this preshow took place, I definitely respect a family man. Now granted, of course we’d get his standard toilet humor which I’m slowly aware fans are familiar with but he did eliminate an LXC member before his inevitable fall which is a bonus. To make it this far before that brutal encounter with Big Krystal, the man definitely stepped up his game tonight. Sadly, it wasn’t enough to make it past the bottom. F 31st Place. 16) Jacques Le Mime How and why did Mr. Monopoly actually convince the board to give this ‘French Twist’ wash-up a spot in the match, after we ‘clearly’ witnessed Jacques Le Mime’s fall against Tails sometime earlier this year? Thank god that this star wasn’t actually one of the mystery opponents that were scheduled to appear tonight because Jacques pretty much represents the sequel nobody asks for and nobody wanted back. If the only reason to have Jacques Le Mime back was to make him talent fodder and give everyone a chance to beat him up like a punching bag, Monopoly did something right of all the shitty things he’s done to this match. At least the entire FTCW roster, allies and rivals, can actually agree that this man doesn’t belong in an E-Fed with a reputation as this. Thanks for playing Jacques and ‘never’ come here again. F 30th Place. 15) “The Wrestlemaniac” Bryce Kanyon Like you really thought I was going to miss out on the opportunity to compete in one of the biggest matches of the year and I had only one mission going in: If Ryan Knight is in the match, his ass is grass. Throughout the entire season, Ryan has been trying to avoid me every time I offered him a chance to face me proving time and time again what a coward he truly is. Well, I did what I said I was going to do and that I’d kick Ryan’s ass even when he was hiding behind his ‘wall’, his Luxury friends. I almost had Ryan where I wanted him… And then Big Krystal had to spoil everything, eliminating me too early during the match. Sometimes I feel as though there’s a conspiracy in FTCW just as I recall in FZW, I set my mind out to do something and these shows are determined to just make me the fall man every time. If and when there’s a new season of FTCW with a new Grand Battle in preparation, I intend to prove myself a better contender. I'm not satisfied with how this match turned out, but better to try and fail than not try at all. F 29th Place. 18) Robin Hood It’s funny how we got lookalikes in The Gladiator and the star in question, Robin Hood, all because they were both played by Rusell Crowe (Makes you wonder if they would use the ‘twin magic’ effect if they became a tag team). Anyways, as one-third of the FTCW Trios Champions, Robin Hood is definitely not afraid to pull off the big heists while packing a fight or two against any oncoming adversaries. A shame of course that his time during the Grand Battle in general did not end as graciously for him as he hoped. And it doesn’t help that he was on a number I picked to be the winner of the lottery, which definitely bodes ill towards getting that match I was looking forward to. Then again, Big Krystal was no walk in the park so it’s no wonder that he was taken out at this stage of the game. F 28th Place. 19) Phoenix Wright Phoenix Wright has definitely gained some respect from the FTCW roster, even though we were only able to get 50% of control for the show which still leaves us with only half of the problems we are left to resolve ourselves. Now when it comes to his performance in court, Phoenix Wright can pull it off easily but he hasn’t really impressed us much as far as winning matches. And as we expected, this match was no different as he too suffered a brutal finish at the hands of Big Krystal. I won’t say that his performance was bad, but it definitely wasn’t his best either. Hopefully he’s learned much after this match as the rest of us hopefully will. D 27th Place. 23) Batman Prior to this match, we knew we were going to have at least four mystery entrants set to appear during this match but I’ll bet the last superstar we thought would show is one of the greatest SCAW superstars of all time… Batman! A high caliber legend not just from SCAW in general, but was one of the founding stars of NoDQ CAW and even though he’s not an “official” star, like another SCAW superstar, ‘King’, what little we got to see from the Caped Crusader gave us quite an impression on what we can expect if he were to gain an official contract. I honestly didn’t think the FTCW roster was prepared to face a star this big so for a while they did get their hands full. And yet, all it takes was for someone to step up and show how FTCW does things, which led to Tails being the one to do so. Batman may not have won the Grand Battle for a shot at the title, but seeing such a competitor in FTCW is definitely something worthwhile if the management team agrees. Till then… D 26th Place. 24) Nick Fairburn All my life, I’ve never believed in the concept of ‘perfect’ and Nick Fairburn is no exception. A man who thinks so highly himself, that he’s the best in the world… But his scoreboard will say otherwise. The LXC definitely isn’t doing so well in this Grand Battle as they’ve been losing members left and right, frankly I couldn’t mourn for Nick’s departure. ‘The Perfect One’, I say more like ‘The Average One’. D 25th Place. 28) Nathan Drake As one treasure hunter falls, Nathan Drake steps up with hopes of bringing some serious gold power to the Treasure Hunters. Nathan has definitely made quite an impression since debuting in FTCW and even though his winning streak came to an abrupt end, there was the slightest chance that he could score the biggest tomb raid in this event. But just as quickly as he entered this match, it didn’t take long to be propelled out of the fight just as quick as his confrontation with Lara Croft. Then again, he’s still relatively new in this business so it wasn’t expected that he’d win his first Grand Battle on the fly… Although that would’ve been awesome if he did! Better lucky next year! D 24th Place. 25) Carma-Large-A If we thought having Big Krystal in the ring was brutal enough, Carma-Large-A, the lass formerly known as Interpol’s Carmelita Fox, is one giant vixen super enhanced to the point where she feels she’s on top of the world. Still makes me wonder what Sly ever saw in this girl considering it wasn’t the first time she went huge (Though that last time was due to a cursed mask that made her as big as a skyscraper). Carma came into this match for one thing and one thing only: To destroy the competition (Which she narrowly did). But unlike Big Krystal, Carma-Large-A wasn’t so fortunate against the competition that ganged up on her and she unfortunately left about as quickly as Erik Rowan’s downfall against The Rock. Though I think the women’s roster may want to stay out of her way at this point. D 23rd Place. 29) Mikasa Ackerman When we think of all the ideas for mystery entrants to enter the Grand Battle most of us would think it just be a dude, but we never would’ve imagine we’d have a new diva in the ‘Titan Slayer’ Mikasa Ackerman. Now I may only know the show because of that awesome intro music from the first season, but this female anime character truly proved how badass she was when she delivered the pain against one of the Towers of Girl Power, thereby making her responsible for her downfall. This badass diva could definitely make for a potential Women’s Champion at some point in the future if she sticks around this business long enough. I mean to have a Grand Battle involving three women among 32 other men, that’s something I never would expect to happen. Shame she didn’t win the Grand Battle but she really delivered a brutal kick to a newcomer’s cahones so she definitely served some purpose other than as a foil to the Towers of Girl Power. D 22nd Place. 31) Zorro The man, the myth, the legend… Zorro, a world renowned star from Mexico definitely knows how to make his presence felt. A true avenger for justice, who knows how to put on a show, and this man could’ve made some memorable moments during this entire match… Until Mikasa delivered a huge field goal right to the Little Z’s! Unfortunately, Zorro was unable to recover after that devastating maneuver by one of our newest divas and that maneuver alone cost him the much needed win. As far as first impressions go, losing the Grand Battle this way is definitely not going to guarantee any title opportunities and so we’re left uncertain as to how he’ll fare in this show. I just hope he does a better job than The Phantom of The Opera. D *Listens through headset* I'm being told that the next part of the Grand Battle is set to get underway shortly. We'll be back with more reviews to come as we continue with some more thrilling action. Stay tuned! |

FTCW Grand Battle 2017 Grade & Review Part 2 *In Bryce’s ‘Hall of Text’ room* Welcome back, FTCW fanatics! This is Bryce 'The Wrestlemaniac' Kanyon reporting from my humble abode in the 'Hall of Text' and we have just witnessed the most epic ending that has rarely been done in the Grand Battle until now. The numbers dwindled rather quickly as the final participants made their way to the ring with several stars lasting longer than most of us predicted. Up till the ending, it was anybody's match but now that we know who will be facing King Arthur for the FTCW World Championship, the road to 'Lasting Legacy III' is officially open. But first, our final run through of all the participants that came and went: 21st Place. 32) Wolf Hawkfield When the Luxury Club made it very clear they were looking for new members to join the group, who would think that meant Wolf Hawkfield, one of the founding members of International Inc. and had problems with the Club in the past, would suddenly turn his back on his teammates just because he felt he’d be on the winning side? Or worse yet, what made anyone think that Wolf even deserved to be in the match considering he never really qualified to begin with? True he was a former FTCW World Champion, but it was so long ago that nobody bothers to remember how that reign turned out or even care to look back on previous episodes to know we’re not making any of this up. And even though Catch 22 eliminated Wolf despite his best efforts, in the end it took Wolf’s former ally and a biker chain to ultimately cost him the chance to receive the recognition he feels the LXC can promise him. Of course, from my point of view, the only thing that’s come from joining the Club is for the roster to find someone else to screw out of their opportunities. C 20th Place. 30) Dick Tracy When it comes to old school competitors in this business, none fits the bill more than Dick Tracy. Then again, had it also not been for Tracy’s part, we wouldn’t have at least 50% of FTCW control back in Proto’s good hands. And yet, much like Phoenix Wright, Tracy has been struggling to get back in the shape he was back when he teamed with another competitor and definitely hope to keep the odds in his favor anyway he can. The problem with Dick is whether he has what it takes to be main event material, though his loyalty to FTCW will always remain strong. The Grand Battle doesn’t suggest much to offer in his favor but at least he performed better than his partner did. C 19th Place. 34) Daryl “The Moose” Jasper The last time we saw “The Moose” perform in a high stakes match like this one; he set the Grand Battle record to ten superstars eliminated. Today, he hoped to not only repeat the very same feat but also win the Grand Battle, an event that could possibly change his life. But even after getting the second best number out of 35 and though he had his Roman Poetic Domination allies during this bout he wasn’t able to last as long nor live to the hype of eliminating any competitors. I could say better luck next year, but after the way we saw The Moose perform it’s rather difficult to say at this point. C 18th Place. 33) Heero Yuy Believe it or not, this was one of the Gundam shows I actually watched back when I was young and what little I know of Heero Yuy, considering it was many years ago, I can say this mystery entrant has an interesting story. While he may speak in a monotone voice and appears cold, reckless and emotionless, this is a guy that is actuall very kind-hearted (Those close to him would know) and he is a skilled Gundam pilot among four others handpicked for this mission during that series. If the Freedom Fighters were ever looking for a new member to take a certain traitor’s place, this guy can definitely benefit to the group. Plus, it’s not everyday we get an FTCW superstar make their debut with a Mobile Suit Gundam. I should definitely get back into it. Course, what I do hope especially with the three other entrants, is that Heero can prove he has what it takes to be a success in this industry. C 17th Place. 12) “The Infamous One” Anthony Adams Up till before we learned he’d align himself with the club, when I saw “The Infamous One” I saw a man so intense and competitive, that despite his vicious, nasty streak this guy would leave a mark in FTCW regardless. Without a doubt, Anthony Adams has prove himself as that competitor who won’t hesitate to tear anyone apart no matter who he is set to fight. Still, while Adams is truly a tough S.O.B. his power would ultimately be put to the test against a fierce rival of the Club, the man known as ‘Lionheart’ and sadly it was a battle of strength Adams was doomed to lose. While it could’ve gone either way, the fatigue that he must’ve felt during the Grand Battle in general was enough to diminish most of his strength to make him the latest star eliminated from the match. Still, it actually wasn’t too bad for his first time at such a landmark event. C 16th Place. 13) Catch 22 It’s with the Grand Battle that we’d expect to have a few former winners and last year’s winner, Catch 22, is no exception. Course, the man also known as Scott Cross is a rather difficult person to read, fans don’t know whether to love him or hate him but everyone else agrees that he’s always fought for on his own terms (Even placing all the bets on himself). Though his success has made Catch 22 a FTCW Hall of Famer, he’s also caused some controversy including his recent acquisition of Chef Reuben Deli, who rumor has it that he’s actually been satisfied working for Catch 22 as his personal chef but we have yet to retrieve all the details to know for certain. Anyways, Catch 22 attempted to repeat the same performance as of last year until Reuben’s former partner, Mark Baker, got smart and cost him a shot at the FTCW World Championship. With Catch 22’s dreams of a FTCW title opportunity crushed, one has to wonder how he’ll respond to Mark Baker’s actions or where this all leads up. C 15th Place. 3) Ryan Knight Ever since Mr. Monopoly was stripped of leadership with the Luxury Club, though rumor has it he still has ties to the group despite his denials, and since Ryan Knight assumed the leadership position, Proto’s made it his goal to make Ryan’s night a living hell starting with his early appearance in the Grand Battle (Though if it were more punishing he’d be given the #1 entry, just saying). But for all the right reasons as Ryan’s turned once praised FTCW superstars against their fans by having them join the group, costing several superstars (Like myself) a shot at the FTCW World Championship, and even his heinous assault on a woman a crime that was left without any repercussions, a huge low for FTCW management. Of course, Ryan would have help from the Luxury Club as his own personal wall as many fans questioned if he’s truly the Nightmare Maker he claims to be when it’s obvious the one superstar who’s the most afraid is Ryan Knight himself. And though it would’ve been more satisfying if it were me or Bobby Mitchell to score the elimination against Ryan Knight ourselves, his night came to an end at the hands of Lionheart himself who’s been a huge thorn against the Club for quite sometime. And if we know Ryan Knight very well, he hates to lose whether he wants to admit it or not. C 14th Place. 2) Percy the Poet One of the most unorthodox superstars on the roster, the Warrior Poet ‘Percival’, a.k.a. ‘Compromised Percy’ has gone a little coo-coo for quite some time but some claim he’s lost his mindset for all the right reasons. None can deny that for all he’s done, Percy the Poet always looks to make a lasting impression considering his loyalties to FTCW since Day 1 five years ago. Percy has always stroved for the brass ring and he’s been willing to do whatever it takes to win the big one. But as the match went on and considering his early entry into the match, it wouldn’t take long for Percy himself to run out of gas thereby leaving him unable to stop himself from departing the match. Still and all, Percy’s time in this year’s match won’t surely be forgotten from what we’ve just seen. B 13th Place. 35) “Automatic” Otto Rodriguez Ever since Turbo Episode 50, the only thing that mattered to the Cuban Miker Submission Machine was not so much winning the Grand Battle for a World Championship match but so Madrid can witness Otto Rodriguez ride into the match for revenge against Wolf Hawkfield following his controversial betrayal. For O-Rod, even after eliminating his former ally, deep down we know this won’t be satisfying enough for Otto as he is intent on destroying Wolf’s career forever. It doesn’t even matter that Otto faced elimination during the Grand Battle as clearly he has more important matters on his mind than the brass ring right now. B 12th Place. 26) The Gladiator Of all the men the Madrid fans wanted to see and of all the superstars they wanted to see win a World Championship match at Lasting Legacy III, the home country hero, The Gladiator a.k.a. Maximus, seeks to take this moment to make this country proud (Even though he served as a Roman General). Always ready for battle whether it’s during FTCW or his SCAW days, The Gladiator has been on the rise as an icon in sports entertainment and he’s determined to make this country proud. Indeed it was tragic for the Madrid fans when The Gladiator was eventually eliminated, but one cannot deny that it was sweet of Maximus to perform in front of his home country. He’s certainly done better in this match than his former TRIOS title companions there is no denial of that. B 11th Place. 27) Ratchet Fox McCloud has screwed a ton of competitors following his betrayal, but none felt it more than Ratchet after eating the boot of a Star Fox Kick! This emerging star in FTCW can do some damage, but the question was whether Ratchet could pull it together and focus more on just revenge against Fox for his heinous act. Sadly, Ratchet didn’t get his revenge on Fox as he would face elimination just one spot short of the Top Ten. But let us remind ourselves that his efforts shall not be in vein as he truly delivered some serious damage during this match. B 10th Place. 20) Crash Bandicoot As we arrive at the Top Ten mark of the FTCW Grand Battle participants, a comeback of epic proportions sparked fireworks as Crash Bandicoot made his return just for this match. Following a severe torn MCL injury on Turbo Episode 48, Crash was determined to heal himself so he wouldn’t miss out on the Grand Battle and restablish himself as Playstation’s top icon. Though Crash Bandicoot was nowhere close to a hundred percent, Crash was determined to give it his all during this match and the fact he’d make it this far proves how determined he is to win another shot against King Arthur for a sequel to the ‘Battle of the Clotheslines’. But while Crash faced the end of the road following his elimination, he proved himself healthy enough to compete with the big boys of the business and for that he deserves props for his efforts. B 9th Place. 1) Fox McCloud If we thought Ryan Knight was in hell for what Proto was determined to do to him, the filthiest rotton traitor of them all, Fox McCloud, took the worst of it by starting off as the #1 entry of the match. As one of the newest members of the Luxury Club, Fox left his mark earlier ripping Soldier of Fortune’s heart out against during the biggest match of his career. Without question, Fox McCloud is a great wrestling talent and his actions have been deemed questionable before, such as kicking a teammate out of the Freedom Fighters before, yet for a fox who believes himself to be the best he had much to prove during this match. Though it was impressive enough that he was the last remaining LXC member to last this long in the match, he could not escape the clutches of a steroid abusing ex-girlfriend who practically cleaned house against Fox. Even though it was Lionheart that scored the elimination and not Big Krystal herself, there’s no denying it was his corporate shill ego that screwed himself out of the most important match of his career and as of tonight what he needs right now is a serious wake-up call. B 8th Place. 9) Big Krystal We knew we’d get some big talent during this match, but none quite so big as the gigantic XXXXXL size of power herself, Big Krystal, the self-proclaimed “Giant Vixen Empress’, as rumors have it she’s become the Empress of her home planet, Cerinia. Ever since undergoing this power trip under Carmen Sandiego’s leadership, Big Krystal’s quest for power has left her nothing but anger, hate, and super steroid-inflated ego as the Blue Vixenzilla demonstrated what a huge threat she is in the business. Heck, no FTCW superstar was safe as many were eliminated at the hands of this destructive force of nature and I got the facemask to prove it. *Touches his face* Ow… Anyways, even Fox McCloud felt Big Krystal’s wraith as this power cost him a shot at the FTCW World Championship but like many superstars that came before her and shortly after Big Krystal’s engine was starting to run on empty. The FTCW Universe may be celebrating for her elimination, but we cannot ignore the fact that this Tower of Girl Power member has terrorized the roster so greatly with her number of eliminations and word has it this won’t be the last we see of the Towers of Girl Power in action. B 7th Place. 11) Miles “Tails” Prower Miles “Tails” Prower, argurably one of the best wrestlers in FTCW history, is well familiar with the Grand Battle having won the match in Pasadena, California back in 2013 and it was this match that ultimately ‘made’ his career. The 2-tailed FTCW Hall of Famer truly knows what it takes to win this match and this pissed-off badass is more than determined to survive. Considering all the frustration Tails has endured in his career, being frozen in ice, forced to relieve the FTCW World Championship, and getting arrested after a match with a mime, it’s all a matter of time before Tails’ anger explodes and not even his Mobius friends might be able to stop it when that volcano ignites. Once again Tails successfully makes it to the Top 10 in the three attempts he’s had in this match, including this year’s event, and for a star who knows this match very well he’s received a higher grade than most of the roster which is a good thing. Still, having lost a shot at the FTCW World Championship, can anything lower the anger that’s building up from Sonic’s loveable brother figure? A 6th Place. 14) Dae-Woo Seo Ever since making his debut in FTCW, Dae-Woo Seo has generated a ton of electricity and has even won gold during his short time on the show. He may be a small competitor, but he’s proven to be one of the fastest rising stars on the rosta and I myself have witnessed this rise first hand during attempts to challenge the man’s speed. The Charismatic Comet may not have won the match, but he’s definitely made a great first impression in his first Grand Battle practically running all over the place before that run came to an end. A gut feeling tells me we won’t hear the last from Dae-Woo Seo as we hope to see him fight for World title glory in the near future. A 5th Place. 21) “Lionheart” Leib Levi Naftali Now when we talk about dominance during this match, the ‘darkhorse pick’ of the night, known as “Lionheart” Leib Levi Naftali, has proven himself a true contender. Though the man’s been relatively quiet, Season 4 has granted Lionheart the opportunity to make memories and the strength of this contender is so natural it’s a wonder why he has yet to be a World Champion. Lionheart has had a lot of drama with the LXC during the season, including the disappearance of Ziva David at the time, but now that Lionheart had his shot of revenge against the team during the match and relieved that Ziva is alive and well Lionheart can center his attention during this important match. And during the run, he successfully eliminated seven competitors as he attempted to score a tie against Daryl Jasper’s record but sadly he was just three men short of achieving his goal. Still and all, the man deserves a huge round of applause for the impression he’s left during this year’s event. A 4th Place. 6) Midnight Lightning The Swedish Brute has made his presence felt during Season 4, as Midnight Lightning has been improving immensely. Svang Dozmeier hopes to serve his country well by making the Grand Battle the biggest highlight of his entire career. And he would not be alone as he received assist from his tag team partner, Geno Yoshinuka, the two having worked together on this show since their arrival together. The man truly lasted longer than most of us assumed he would and for that it is fair to say he served Sweden well as of this match. A 3rd Place. 7) Geno Yoshinuka Things appeared to look up for the Destroyer of Arms, as the Japanese-Aussie was pumped to receive the lucky number seven slot. Always focused in these situations, this talented competitor has proven he can break an opponent’s arm and not apologize for it. There is no question the man displayed an amazing showing in international talent, proving that International Inc. should not be overlooked. The man was signed to FTCW all those years ago for a reason, and while he didn’t receive a World Championship match both Japan and Australia will be pleased to know Geno is coming home with the bronze medal. Who knows? Maybe next year, he’ll be given silver and if it goes longer than that… The big gold in general… Someday! A 1st Place Tie. 17) Mark Baker & 22) Bobby Mitchell We’ve had many ‘darkhorse picks’ featured in this match and if we thought Lionheart fit that name to a T, Mark’s been doing that ever since Day 1 of being an FTCW superstar. ‘Myrtle Beach Marvelous’ himself has grown to be the man to root fot,a wrestler who’s skills back up whatever he says, and without question the guy’s progression in FTCW has proven impressive as of this past year. Meanwhile, the Cross Country King definitely had a case for want to get back in the Main Event picture. During Turbo Episode 50, Bobby Mitchell was royally screwed over by the Luxury Club and that heinous act gave King Arthur a tainted victory that has turned the FTCW roster heavily against the King of Camelot. But Bobby Mitchell is a man on a mission, not only with dreams and aspirations to win the FTCW World Championship, but to avenge the beating laid upon his sister Mary, his bro-in-law Brady Salis (Who’s still determined to fight the Club after his girlfriend’s trip to the hospital) and his best friend and tag partner from several E-Feds before, Allan Basham (Who was screwed out of his spot in the Grand Battle following his arrest by the Madrid police… Who I still think is going to regret it later on). Both men fought hard to reach the final leg of this event but controversy almost cost them both a shot at the title when both their feet touched the floor at the same time. But rather than restart the final elimination and due to their physical state by this point of the night, it was decided that the victory would be granted to both ‘Myrtle Beach Marvelous’ and the ‘Cross Country King’ sending both men to Lasting Legacy III to a match against King Arthur for the FTCW World Championship, provided that doesn’t get tainted too… Proto! Previous seasons, it came down to the Last Man Standing but in this rare feat in the FTCW roster two men are walking out of this match with the victory and without question they intend to make the best of this opportunity. But now comes the question on who wants this title more: Mark Baker who has been on the rise or Bobby Mitchell who wants to prove himself as the true king? A+ All these questions and more we hope will be explored as the road to Lasting Legacy III proceeds from here on out and we hope for some more exciting action in the meantime. Until then, I’m Bryce ‘The Wrestlemaniac’ Kanyon calling all the action because I’m CRAZY enough to do it! Stay tuned! |

Mark Baker: *exits his Madrid dressing room* *looks up at the camera* Hmph! *smiles* That was just "marvelous" of me to do what I just did! That was nothing short of "marvelous"! I knew exactly what I had to do in this Grand Battle Match, and I wasn't gonna let anyone distract me from what the ultimate prize in this business is all about! I know what happened to my buddy Chef Reuben Deli! I know what has happened to the FTCW Roster! I know people are changing like crazy! I know that there's a lack of true leadership at the top of FTCW Management, aside from Prototype400! I know this E-Fed is in danger, but you know something? Along with the "Cross Country King" Bobby Mitchell, you just got rewarded with a calming presence as the Co-Winner of the 2017 Grand Battle Match! I'm gonna be the guy who will set the record straight once and for all! I'm gonna be the guy who shuts everybody up around here! I'm gonna be the guy who razzles, dazzles and shocks the utter crap out of the people who watch us wrestle! Lasting Legacy III... I just punched my ticket to the biggest stage FTCW has to offer, and I sure as Hell won't miss boarding that "Train to Paradise"! That stage is mine! *walks off looking relieved* |

So Mark Baker is quite content with sharing there victory with Bobby Mitchell, as if that doesn't matter how this match would end. After everything that's happened to Mark in recent weeks, losing his friend who now works for Catch 22, willingly or not, Mark's only epiphany now is to be the man to win the World title. The odds may be stacked against him but Mark has grown since his days as part of Project X. And if he truly believes he has what it takes to win, in willing to believe it. |
