I just got back from the midnight showing of MAN OF STEEL. I'll try and keep it spoiler free as much as possible.

First off the visuals were in my opinion very beautiful and spectacular.

The Story: Excellent. Roughly it deals with Jor-El The destruction of Krypton and sending Kal-El to earth to try and be a savior. Zod who wants to rule Krypton. Also Zod and Jor-El's friendship. Kal who on earth needs to figure things out for himself.

Cast: Henry Cavill is Superman. Amy Adams as Lois a good choice. I do like the fact that Laurence Fishbourne played Perry White. Though his screen time is not much though.
there is no Jimmy Olsen. Instead we have a female instead named Shelly. And she didn't do much for me. Kevin Costner and Diane Lane both great choices for Ma and Pa Kent.
Michael Shannon embraced General Zod making him a true threat. Russell Crow as Jor-El was also a great choice.

I also have to say the chemistry between Henry Kevin and Diane feels in my opinion very genuine. I also like the romance between Superman and Lois. Also there are some other villains that get a small nod.

One tiny Spoiler: There are no extra scenes at the end of the movie(like they do in most Marvel movies) Instead there is this huge list thanking different military people.

Overall: I give this film a 9.5 over 10.

If you want to know any of the spoilers send me a message and I'll give you some spoilers.

Real fast here are a few trailers I saw.

Pacific Rim

R.I.P.D

The Hobbit Part 2
