If this match has the makings of a gift from the gods, then the RAWL division must have done something right putting these two together. Though one is a villain and the other is a superhero, they are both competitors of near equal strength. On one hand, we have a prominent super villain. And on the other, we have a Prominent superhero who is also the Norse God of Thunder. Now we are about to bear witness to the epic battle of good vs. evil, when General Zod takes on Thor. Like Superman and Superboy, General Zod came from the Planet of Krypton. But unlike those two, he is more arrogant and pompous, such in a way that he seems "bored" of his incredible powers especially when things get too easy. Zod was quite a force back in SCAW and he nearly had potential to be a great star. But all that changed after he lost to Superman and since then he hasn't been seen on the show ever since he lost his edge that night. So now, he hopes to redeem himself by winning the tournament starting with a victory over... Thor, the Norse God of Thunder and one of the most popular comic book stars of all time. Highly resistant to pain and warrior by heart, Thor is a prominent hero compared to fellow Avengers Captain America and The Hulk. Although it's not to say he's had a very prominent wrestling career having performed terribly on SCAW and barely making a mark on DAW. But now, Thor has a huge opportunity on the line if he can score a huge win for the RAWL Championship. General Zod is indeed a force to be reckon with, but it's just another obstacle for Thor to crush in order to reach his goal. Two men collide in a match only one will win. Question is: Who do you think will advance? Voting begins: NOW!!! |
