I'm an atheist. I don't believe in heaven. So no i don't think you'll go to heavenm if you are good. I believe in heaven, if heaven is being buried in the ground and then being degraded by bugs. This may sound stupid, but i do believe in reincarnation though. |

In my opinion, there is absolutely no point in being an atheist. I mean...let's explain this with a tick o'maths [logic]. Ok, you don't believe in nothing. You are 99.999% sure that there is no heaven, K? Now, why that? There's really no point. It is better to believe in something- you don't lose anything and if that religion is THE door to heaven, then you will only win. Imagine if you don't believe in nothing. You risk to burn in hell FOREVA!! But if you believe in it, you a) have nothing to lose and B) if it's right, you will be rewarded. So being an atheist is pointless, + rehincarnation = buddhist! |

I agree Master, but you might not get to heaven if you're just doing it 'just in case' <_< Gotta actually mean these things. |

Im with sly on his last post. 'You dont lose anything' that made me laugh. Religion controls your life, although its becoming less controling because of science. I wont explain my thinking because I could end up offending people. One day science will make or break religion (most likely break), more you get attatched the more it will hurt if it does break it |

Then you won't ever become religious, lol. God doesn't just 'prove' that kind of stuff. Otherwise, we wouldn't be having this conversation, hmmm? Your choice, believe it or not. |

I'm really not trying to say that there was an 'Eden' and PUM! god made earth and men...I believe that the life on earth evoluted... But take this in consideration: 1) The only ones here that are asking 'gimme a proof' never / very few times /never listened in church. All the humanity is so god damn stupid (yes!) that we don't get it. It's beyond our imagination. Why does Bush make crap in Amerika? Why do we make war? Why do people die because of oil? Answer: Because there are nerds that think they own and think they can do what they want and screw the world let's pave it all, they say. 2)You will most likely not get a proof that god exists. For what anyway? You see, there are the buddhist, the muslims, all of them believe in one god that is going to reward them, + god sent his own spirit to earth in form of Jesus Christ (No Sly, you DON'T get this) to give us a warning and what do we do? Of course, we kill him! 3)Few days ago I have been trying to convince some atheist noobs that god exists and they always have the same argument: Give me a proof. Nothing more. I tried to convince them with this method: Me: Look at that wall. Now, imagine a sofa. You see the sofa? Where is it? Noob Atheists: Why you come up with that nub thing? Noob Atheist #2: Lol nub And they made fun of me. SLy included. |

My real intention where this: Me: Imagine a sofa. Ok..where is it? Atheist: In my head. Me: Do you have a proof? Atheist: Yes, the science-... Me: Give it to me. Now. Atheist: I can't, talk to a-... Me: YOU talk to a father in a church Atheist: That's not the same thing, it's-... Me: YOU don't have ANY CONCRETE proof that I can hold or see! your dear scientist friend can say whatever he wants because what people say is not a proof , since you just said it. Pwnt. |

Shamefully, every discussion between an atheist and a believer in god (doesn't even have to be religious, I believe in god too, as a higher power) will most likely end up in a fight, because they will probably never agree. Atheist always want proof. This is a good thing, because most of them will later turn out to be very good scientists (ok, maybe just a few of them). It's good to ask questions, and not to follow the herd like some mindless sheep. But it is dumb to deny every form of a higher power. If you will not accept it, just because there is no proof, then that's just plain stupid. Instead of asking for proof, find the proof. You will probably not find it, but you will find something else, something better, when you are looking to prove god. You will find the base of every true religion: grip. Everyone needs to hold on to something. Life can be extremely chaotic. Some people find this grip on life in friends, and others turn towards religion. Why? Because knowing there is more to the eye than we can see, can sometimes feel good. Knowing that we have a grip on something bigger than our own imagination, something that is, according to Albert Einstein and others, already infinite, makes us feel not so tiny anymore. Because if you look at it from perspective, we are tiny. If we feel that we actually mean something, that praying out to something bigger than our imagination will work, it makes us feel more important, and not so tiny anymore. |

Sly, please explain me where else would religion be? It starts in someone head, and it ends there too. To me, the perfect religion is the one that stays in everybody's head, and not anywhere else. |

Yup, just let it stay in your head, because in ones own head, everything can be made perfect. |
