Heavily edited to present the history of the software relative to the publisher. Also, most people probably do not care, so it's tucked in an offtopic.
[offtopic=stuff about the publisher and game]outreach4him.50megs.com was a Christian-based website full of old bible study tools from the Windows 2000 / XP era. (Their software surely shows it.)

While you cannot access the website directly, you can find archives of their pages, as well downloads for their software. One standout offering in particular was called UltraUNO, a game where you can customize and tinker with the rules to your liking, allowing you to make a game of UNO with a set of rules that you prefer, allowing you to experiment with game ideas, all free of charge... for twenty days.

But it gets even worse; Some time between November and December in 2003, while the fledgling software house was trying to pay the bills, they were probably targeted by Mattel for a copyright violation, as archives of the website after November 2003 show the software being removed (and most likely unsupported) from their available offerings. The website was undergoing a restructure at the time to present their WalkBuilder software as their prominent offering.

Fortunately (or unfortunately), a kind fellow who simply wanted to make it free did so with a replacement executable, which is what the archive provided will supply in lieu of the game's original executable (Effectively patching out the DRM / trial nags). While it was made when the company was alive and supplying software, since they're now long dead, there's no reason why this replacement executable causes any concern now.

You all should know at this point how to play UNO, so this should come naturally for everyone. While it lacks netplay and flashy effects, in doing so, this game can run on any system without any config required. This game is provided as an extract-and-play setup where you don't have to go through the effort of bypassing the trial yourself.

For those concerned about the game coming from a Christian-based software house; the game doesn't try to shove the bible down your throat. In fact, the game is pleasantly neutral, showing no hide or hair of scripture up-front.[/offtopic]
