Hey everyone, this is my first post on this forum. Just wanted to share my latest Re-Volt projects. Im a huge fan of Re-Volt (been playing ever since it came out on the N64), and this is pretty much the only PC racing game that hasn't gone bad. Long live Re-Volt! I call my mods 'Re-Volt v2' and 'Re-Volt DEV and Demo Edition' Basically, Re-Volt v2 is the base Re-Volt game with new textures, tracks, gfx, and Ive added custom modifications to the overall gameplay as well. This is what the sequel to Re-Volt should have been. I am about 90% complete, still ironing out some bugs, and finding ways to make it better. Re-Volt DEV and Demo Edition is the base game, with added Dev and Demo cars and tracks Same as above, I am still looking for bugs Photos and download links soon! |

Some of the changes made to RV v2 50 cars to unlock and control! 18 race tracks set in 10 different enviroments! Fully optimized gameplay (average of 120fps!) Enhanced audio with 3D support for immersive gameplay! FRONTEND Clean sharp finish HD Carboxes and graphics Cars with "???" statistics have been enabled (Panga, Clockworks, Probe, and Mystery) CARS Tweaked and improved parameter data for all cars (eg. Cougar does not flip anymore when turning with Battery, Pest Control is less slippery) Removed 'Trolley' All cars from PC version plus all Dreamcast cars and 3 extra cars! (Tsunami, Loaded Chique, and NY55) all with updated gfx. TRACKS Updated HD track textures extracted from various sources Clean finish Added Dreamcast track 'Rooftops' plus all tracks from Arcade version- 'Suburbs' 'Wrecking Yard' 'Toytanic Arcade' 'Venice Arcade' all with updated textures High quality surface particles Added individual track additions like extra pickups and lighting effects GAMEPLAY Improved AI- AI are now harder to beat! (focused on realism) Improved weaponry- more precise! HD explosions, etc Weapons are now in HD with HD textures and gfx! These are just some of the changes. See more in Readme. |

Did you know that there is an (Edit button) so you can put all this info into your first post and keep it organized? People don't like reading for info distributed in so many posts and without organization.

Sorry about that Phantom. Unfortunatly, I can't view most images in this forum (don't know why) (all images have an "x" instead of the image), so its would be most helpful to give me written info on what it is and where I can find it. In terms of organization, I will try to keep posts organized in the future ![]() Has anyone tried out my mod? Feedback would be greatly appreciated! |

Thanks Matsilagi! As for install instruction, killerwheelz, you can unzip anywhere, create the shortcuts as described in the Troubleshooting section of the Readme, and play! OK I admit using some of their files for RV v2 (but not for the Dev/Demo Pack; some files are my work, others from the RV community) Tell me what I have to remove, and I will do so This is what I have so far- Some car skins DO come from WeGO (eg. 'Bamboo'), but others don't (humma skin is from the original Acclaim version, RV Loco, and Cougar skins are from the RV community, some are custom edited by me) Some parts (very small amount) DO come from RV 2, will be fixed Cars with WeGo's skin will be fixed and repackaged. What I don't understand is why you disabled the link to RV Dev and Demo Pack. It is a completely original game. Can you elaborate on whay you disabled it?
