^ sure, start the cams whenever youre ready. just work on 1 track at a time tho. dont go changing stuff that works, just fix or delete the broken stuff, or add more if lacking.

make sure the finsh line cam has a good view.

sometimes i feel that garden cam should be lowered and such, or toytanic still cam should be made a rail or something.

EDIT: I forgot a bit about cams -.- oh well.

first i start all normal tracks then reverse? (toytanic can be just copypasted as its same world, thats what devs did, should i or make it different?)

do whatever it is you feel you need to do. if you think Garden's finish cam sucks then change it. worst comes to worst ill ask you to try again. Toytanic's cams can be identicle.

Yeah, Toytanics are known to be identical in most parts, w, ncp, fan, taz, por? xD and cam.
as they're identical best would be work on one then copy paste unless its different

yep, its clearly seen in dev revolt...
and yes, its not the same but some pieces of them are.
lit is obviously not, fin and fan not either. but close the latter.
the obvious *same* is w and ncp
And why we see Toytanic 1 in the original DEV version and not toytanic 2? :ph43r: :blink:

I've only moved original IDs without increasing ID count or deleting.
Now it covers areas in a better way. no watch cams and rail cam tuned.
Static ftw and its mind-blown. gogodemo and watch :) :wub:

Edit: it's possible if attachment doesn't work properly? (291b vs 508b :o :blink: )

Toytanic 1 & Toytanic 2
fixed ~ 2 incomplete instance models in Toytanic 1. (by: ElectricBee)
fixed ~ 2 incomplete instance models in Toytanic 2. (by: ElectricBee)
fixed ~ collision bug with ceilings in Toytanic 1 & 2.
fixed ~ rain collision in Toytanic 2.
fixed ~ all ENV flags.
fixed ~ all LIGHTING flags.

Well, had to made it like that because it's impossible to cover the hidden passage all in one without this. it's minor because the rail cam is on top (you swap to static cams by F5-ing again) (btw i've put a cam below the dolphin, actually i think a watch cam fits perfectly there but i dont remember how to change cam types)

the reason it looks like that is because you put the cam inside the archway wall... move it out of that wall.

dont put cams inside anything.

I'll try to improve them without adding/removing and avoiding out of bound views (mind its inevitable sometimes)

^ np, take your time. i know Toytanic is going to be a serious challenge.

the Garden cams are 1.2b compatible, please make sure all cams are 1.2b compatible. ill assume youre using 1.2b to make these?

Yeah, im using old format: alphas with new cam do ask format: no = legacy and because its Acclaim entities and all i do is move them i dont need new cam, its not a matter of 1.2b lol alpha supports the old format properly. I'm currently using 12.1225 (aka the ABC version :P)


Turns out that Toytanic 1 and probably 2 will be a ultimate mess: using inside building cams is unavoidable if i want to cover both areas without an additional cam that'll probably conflict each other and not trigger perfectly.

worst area is the top part, the start and end straights are done, had to extend the rail cam so now rail cam is part of the double straight :P i can say: 10% complete.
Going to do easier ones, i had garden already imagined.

EDIT: Not nhood1.

Please tell me which tracks needs fixes.

lol ~ do you have any idea how difficult it is to drive a car by only the track cams? :wacko:

my bad ~ nhood1 has some bad cams. the tunnel, and the 2nd intersection near the white fence were 2 that i noticed. its hard to check cause many of the nhood1 cams overlap, need to hit f5 alot to get them all to show.

I do, you should have seen me posting them in RRR back in 2009.
i think the topic is still there. (what did you think? that im new to this? nope, i just dont remember some stuff)
I've made cams for petrovolt and some others but i lost the files)

it was a pain and that's how i discovered that weird bug/glitch about camera positions

About nhood1: i think it will be kinda unavoidable the usage of out of bounds cameras (and maybe use FOG object covering the whole tunnel(turns sky black))

i'll see what i can do.

not that i know what im talking about, but couldnt we just let car cams do the tunnel? or a tight chase cam? unfortunately we cant edit the FOB file for fog.
