^ i really dont know, SebR would have to answer that. from what he's mentioned so far we cant do anything to the stock NCP file. (same problem as the W files i assume) the only other optional NCP files we have are from the Dreamcast version ~ and those are hosed from editing!

I need to explain that this "bug" isn't in fact a bug. It depends on the angle you crash the walls and the way you wallbounce. If you crash the walls in the correct angle and you use tic-tic method as fast as possible to reduce the following crash impacts there shouldn't be problem in crossing those curves touching the walls, which are considered as shortcuts by the online players. Fixing this will... ermm.. make it damn easier to make good times, and the milkfix patch would have to be a demandatory update for everyone. If you can do it Thugs go on, but I don't think you can find any "bug" in those walls. |

Kipy ~ yea there are quite a few of those 'flip spots' on many of the tracks. we shouldnt fix those. SebR ~ panel1.prm should just be removed. it is a failed stock patch for something that isnt actually needed... the fix is worse then the bug. ill have ElectricBee take care of the lifeboats ~ thx for pointing that out. ill also be adding the roof over the rain leak area.

Oh boy... Edit: I think I can at least theorize the problem. It looks like there are suppose to be two tris but they made the bottom faces quads while 3DSMax assumed they were tris. That, and it looks like they simply duplicated once they made one half and slap-dashed it together. |

yea the cams are on me, unless someone with a ton of cam experience wants to take it over? ![]() i actually delete all the cam files. playbacks then use the car cams, or i possition my own free floating cam if i need to see something in a certain place. thats probably the main reason this hasnt been addressed yet. (sorry!) ive looked at them before, most notibly the horrible cams in Toytanic. the big problem seems to be not just placement but the type of cam. cams that 'pan' tend to end up looking at walls or it trys to follow a car that is pretty far away and again you end up looking at walls. its actually going to be a huge job to correct all the cams but it will eventually happen. any volunteers?

I used to do CAMs for tracks, maybe i should get on this (mind that the game was rushed, dont expect perfect cameras, also the camera engine haves a bug/glitch, it ignores cams placed at a certain area.

the only real important part is not looking at stupid walls ![]() the rest can be completely upto you. its going to be a huge trial and error ordeal, but if you want to go wild with awesome cam angles you can. the only other thing to keep in mind is a nice finish line cam, so we dont end up seeing junk like what Kipy posted. if you want to try some repairs on Museum2 ~ go for it! ![]() take your time, be thorough, no hurry.

Thugs: Isn't better to have a summary/overview of the fixes? because i think it's quite troublesome for the people that wants details about the fixes, even if its strictly stock (instead of the person going into reading the chaos of the thread which is pretty much outdated stuff lol) ---------------------------------------- I've attempted some, but the game cameras have an automatic delay in replay/main screen, F3/F4 doesn't have delays. and its hard to not face a wall (unless you want X-Ray cameras (not pretty) (a *sharp* turn tunnel for example, although there's a perfect example of good camera in that case in Even After )hmm, cam team maybe? Ooh, Competition, hehe (jk) its fairly easy, but don't confuse yourself: there's many track makers who did the cameras wrong (common mistake), create them and leave them as is, it causes a free-roam glitch (default node is rail and it needs a trigger which i cant make it work for some reason) It's fairly intuitive. |

there are well over 1000 individual repairs in Milkfix, to document everything would be redundant and a waste of time both for me and the reader. its kind of counterproductive to show everything thats broken when the player didnt even realize it was broken to begin with. to a certain extent Milkfix should just be a huge exercise in gaslighting.

So when do you think your fixes will end up in an update to Re-Volt? lol Also, it may be safe to say Jigebren "Milkfixed" the steering recently in a version of the game with a new handling model. |

typically game data is offered seperate from the actual EXE. milkfix is too big anyways, and yea this is never going to end ![]() j/k ~ Milkfix itself is almost as completed as it can get... SebR has a lot more work left than we do. were ready for VIS and FAN repairs, but thats more of an extension to milkfix. |

MediaFire must be having a problem. ive received reports from other forums (for other games) saying the same thing ... and then later everything works fine. so everyone can get the file now right? ABC ~ i removed the two mp3 files from Milkfix at the beginning of the month to releave bloat.

Aah, i see ![]() About the cams, first of all i had lost the cams i've made back in 2009. About new cams its a bit hard.... you know, glitches ![]() and well, about the milkfix, i've also noticed that you removed uneeded binaries, good! is kenny trackeditor included? (not sure) Oh and date update on first post hehe

the last major update was on Nov 4. there was a minor update and cleanup on Feb 2, anything since then has just been Toytanic WIP. the next major update will be when the Toytanic tracks are completed. Kenny's track editor is still a WIP. when its done ill include it.
