I once started to work on a remake of all the Re-Volt textures. The frontend was completed and it looked awesome.
Some files are gone which is no problem since I want it to be as close to the original as possible.

So i am asking you for help now. If you are able to reproduce or remaster any of the original textures, post them here and I will include them in the pack. You will be given credit, of course. Let's do this.

Things you have to keep in mind:
1024x1024 is preferred (there will be two packs: 512 and 1024)
Use an alpha channel for transparency (32bit)

Those screenshots do indeed look fantastic, Marv. It is unfortunate that I don't currently have the means to assist with this. Very sharp and clean, which is characteristic of all your work...which I love. :D

But Marv, make sure that the textures from surface to surface run correctly (I mean the screenshot 5 of 10 from frontend).

I already have font pages that are a bit better shaded.
What I am really interested in: Does anyone have a big (not scanned) version of the loadfront/boxart?

Those screenshots are merely concepts since I lost all the textures seen in them. I was working on a mac back then... Re-Volt runs with 32x CSAA on my new machine.

Hey Marv,

I also have a bunch of textures here:

The rar contains the skymaps of Nhood1, Ship1 and Ship2 in 1024x1024, a 512x512 clouds.bmp from Rooftops and 512x512 textures from Toylite, Toy2 and Roof (ignore the skymaps from "ROOF/custom").

I hope this will help you. :)

I have all those skymaps already, sorry. The toyworld ones are just really badly resized. I cannot use them.

skymaps, clouds & fonts do not use mip-maps, so dont bother with them.

It is actually way easier to have a vanilla re-volt to work from and then copy all the completed files over to the mod folder.

I don't really feel like working with upscaled textures. Not even as a base. They don't have any advantage.

Actually, clouds do mip-map. Everything does as long as there is a texture provided.

I already have some Adeon (and JG-7) hi-res textures if that helps, I'd just need to adapt them to stock Adeon mapping (the one I was working on was remapped). 1024 or 512, your choice.

I also suggest you to work on buggies and that sort of cars - they are better-mapped and easier to work with. And somewhat faster to get done, as well. xD

The balloon has twice as many I think. Would be bread if you made those compatible with the original cars. 1024 sounds good.

Who is hansschmucker? We might need his permission. The spru also doesn't look good at all. I might try adding a proper alpha channel to it. However, we don't need them since the UI will never stretch more than the texture provides.
This is the first time I double posted. Sorry, I'm completely tired.
