Hey guys, I've just posted a Re-Volt retro review/analysis on my YouTube channel as part of my regular show Necronalysis. You can watch it here if you're interested: [dohtml]<iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/DZsvjO_zeJQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>[/dohtml] If you want to see more (alas, non-Re-Volt related) content, you can visit my channel here. Thanks! Atraitus |

Good work, nothing I heard that wasn't correct. Something you didn't know - WeGoInteractive (company that now owns the rights to the game) stole the 1.2 community patch from Jigebren and Huki, and released it on GOG. So, I don't condone buying it from GOG, as this rewards them for that. But yeah, good video dude. Think you can put in some community links? (RVL / RVZ) |

I like your review, good work! How about a review about re-volt 2 from WeGo Interactive in order to compare the two games (only a proposal). |

Very nice. It's way better than most reviews lately. The only mistakes I could find are: 5:45: where you said that the progression split for unlocking the cars is 1 car for your single races, 1 car for your practices and 3 cars for winning the championship. While the correct thing is 1 for single race, 2 for practice and 2 for championship. The second one is at 6:06, the TrackEditor doesn't allow you to download tracks made by other users of the community, people can only get new tracks by downloading them manually from community websites such as Re-Volt XTG or Re-Volt Zone. The rest is perfect, detailed, informative, and clear. |

Nice video, I was skeptical before watching it but overall I enjoyed it ![]() Some feedback: For a review there is too much information and numbers in it, also a newcomer who doesn't know anything about the game wouldn't be left with any excitement to play it since you showed everything there is to show and unlock (except the cheat cars). For an analysis it was good, though you didn't go as much into detail for the cars and tracks as you did with the pickups. Also for some reason you didn't mention the multi player at all, I mean there is even an entirely seperate game mode in there with its own levels (Battle Tag). Another thing you forgot to mention (or perhaps don't know since its not considered to be a well known fact) is that you can also use the battery pickup to instantly restore the car after you got electrified (you can also see this as a method of "dropping" the battery pickup since you talked about it in the video). Last but not least I don't think the physics are bad in any way, maybe they could be better in some cases but overall they are pretty impressive, especially for 1999 (as you said it, it feels more like a 2005 game, regarding graphics and physics). |

Gone looking for a busy public door so I can make whooshing noises... lol, only joking. Very Nice *like* But as stated by others, slight mistakes, too much detail about the pickup's and although you mention the online community there was no mention of the interactive multiplayer modes which is why the game still remains actively popular today. |
