After watching a replay of Rooftops for Dreamcast, I've hit a crossroads that is forcing me to choose between history and enhancement.

You all should know by now what the Dreamcast version of Rooftops is. I include Rooftops, with an improved lighting mod someone submitted on RVZT before that went under. So, should I use Rooftops straight from RVZ now that it's been made available, or should I stick to what I've got?

I fully intend on replacing the skymap with the original skymap from the release on RVZ, no doubt there (despite that it sucks, might as well keep something orignal). I just want to know if it'd be better to stick with original Rooftops or keep the "Enhanced" build I have right now.

I did that once, for me the problem was I had used a single quote where a double quote was needed.

I did that once, for me the problem was I had used a single quote where a double quote was needed.

It's an image size issue. I rescaled the image and saved it as a BMP that's 128x128 instead of 56x56 and it worked. Figured no one else cared so I would leave instructions in private to Platform.

Why not fix it now? When Marv gets done with Bike, I'll re-up.
Late edit: I re-upped anyway. Got tired of waiting!

I was looking into StrixMidnight's improved stock textures for DC/PS1 cars, and I wonder, should I *really* include the PS1 cars, or should those be off to the side as a separate expansion, along with the other similarly-painted vehicles? This would mean Dev Adeon, Poo Poo, Renault 5, Hummo, Acclaim evils and whatever else is super-similar gets cut and repackaged into another archive with the PS1 repaints.

Yes I know I included them already, going to make a batch script to delete the DC/PS1 cars anyway so they can be "Re-included" if that makes any sense; The file structure is a mess and a half, I feel regretful I considered Strix's pack "Complete" enough to add while he was working on it still.


I lied.

I wasn't terribly motivated after distilling all the information I already had, you can easily move your original cars folder, paste in the new cars set and drop in cars you want.

I had decided I am not going to make any new posts on this topic unless I am absolutely certain there are no issues with any of the contents. I am sure there is still at least one thing wrong, so if there is, send me a private message.

I have done SO MANY new changes to this it's unreal. Hopefully it's all for the better.

Sometimes I look at myself, and ask if I really am as retarded as people make me out to be.

I had the "Full" and "Lite" versions swapped the entire time! Sorry there.
