The sun shone brightly in the sky above Australia. Almost no clouds were in the sky as crews prepared Mobile Suits for combat-ready inside the Valhalla. Inside the busy hangar, Will Barton climbed into Wing Gundam's cockpit. It almost seemed like a ritual as he did this within the ship every day, however it wasn't for maintenance for once. "This is Will Barton, I'm heading out for patrol. I'll report if I find anything unusual," Will says over the comm channel, as the communications officer responded back.

"Roger that Barton, don't get killed out there," the officer responded back, as Wing was moved to the launch catapult. As the Gundam was placed into position, the launch catapult extended out, and the flight plan for Wing Gundam was uploaded into the computer. "Remember, no one else is currently deployed, so try to stay out of trouble. If there's enemy presence-"

"Observe, report, and fall back. I know don't engage and try to escape," Will finishes. To him it felt like an old recording from years ago. He was well accustomed to these type of missions, but if there was one thing he learned was this, these never go so well. At the very least he was riding inside a Mobile Suit and not a flimsy fighter plane. With that the countdown started as Will checked over one last time the equipment, before speaking one final time. "This is Will Barton, Wing Gundam, launching!" Will says as the Gundam was catapulted out of the linear launcher, transforming immediately to its Bird Mode.

Igniting all thrusters, Wing flew off into the skies as it followed its programmed course. Keeping an eye on the mission clock having just started, Will did a final check on the status of the leg, as the current fix held it firmly for now. Flying over the continent of Australia, Will kept an eye out on his radar as he completed the first checkpoint ten minutes in. Flying to the second point, it would be another fifteen minutes before the radar gave a small beep, followed by several increasing beeps. Checking the skies quickly, Will's eyes widened as a team of six Flags were in front of him. Targeting one of them, its identification came in as the Sword Ravens. "Shit, how the hell did they get here?! I thought they were based in South America!?" Will exclaims, as he opens a comm channel to the Valhalla.

"Valhalla this is Will Barton, I've got hos-" Will started, as suddenly static cut in to the channel. Looking ahead, one of the Flags came up as unknown as a red light was coming out from the back of one of the Flags. "That's....is that a GN Drive?" Will asks to himself, as suddenly five of the Flags opened fire on the lone suit with their linear rifles.

Banking hard to the right Wing shook violently as the rifle shots impacted all around the Gundam. Pivoting back Will could see the five Flags moving in for him from different angles, however the GN Flag was further off, far away from the rest. What's he waiting for... Will thought as he flew on instinct bringing the targeting in front of one of the Flags, trying to get a lock. As it neared completion, the Flag suddenly veered off as Wing's alarm went off, spotting a Flag coming dangerously close with its custom wrist blades. With barely any time left, Wing lowered itself enough for the shield to take the hit as a scar was left in it. Shaking again, Will spotted another Flag doing the same tactic from above. Quickly shifting to its MS mode, Wing Gundam kicked the Flag hard and as it tumbled, the lock-on lit up on the Suit. Too late to do anything, the Gundam pulled the trigger, wasting one of its precious shots on the Flag as it evaporated into an explosion.

"Damnit..." Will mutters as he rushes Wing down to the surface of Australia. Maneuvering the Gundam as the Flags fired off their missiles, Wing lands hard on the ground and fires off its thrusters briefly as the missiles impacted hard on the ground. Turning sharply Wing pointed its rifle at the enemy Suits as they quickly scattered. Not pulling the trigger, the four encircled Wing, constantly moving and firing on the Gundam. Holding its ground as its armor was dented in, catching a few shots with the shield, the pilot studied their movements as he pointed the rifle at his targets, watching as they dodged the end of the barrel. Waiting, the Gundam pointed its rifle at a singular Flag and seeing where its body started to move, Wing led the suit and pulled the trigger, catching the Suit and ripping off half of its body. Pivoting quickly, Wing caught another poor pilot in its sights and fired a final time, the pilot surprised by the Gundam's actions. Throwing down its rifle and drawing its saber to fight the last two Suits, Wing thrusted forward, unwavering as the linear rifle finally did the first real damage of showing structure, blowing off a small chunk of armor off the shoulder. Slashing at the Suit, Wing missed as the Flag pulled away quickly however the Gundam fired its machinecannons, ripping quickly through the weak armor of the Flag at its leg. Repeating again, Wing this time hit home as the Gundam cleaved the Flag in half.

Seeing the last Flag, Wing thrusted forward to finish it off however a few beam rifle shots lanced out between the two Suits. As Wing backed off, the last normal Flag transformed and flew off, while the GN Flag approached menacingly. "Well well, it seems you've gotten quite used to OUR suit," the lead pilot responded back, this time leaving off the voice filter.

"You bastard...I won't let you take the Gundam."

"That's the idea isn't it? After all, why go through all this effort assuming you'll GIVE us the Gundam. HAH! Way too cliche. It's time to die, ex-Captain Will Barton," the pilots says, smirking as the GN Flag drew its beam saber and charged the Gundam.

"What?!" Will exclaims as the Flag rushed in with its saber drawn. Barely deflecting it in time, Wing pushed back before thrusting forward at the suit. Swiping sideways at the GN Flag, Will smirked as it looked like he was going to hit before the energy suddenly stopped. On the Flag's arms extended out a much longer sword compared to the other Flags, mounted on the underside of the arm. The enemy pilot now grinned as the beam saber jabbed at the Gundam, contacting the chest and leaving a scorch mark on the Gundam. Backing off, Will paled as the Flag drew a second saber with another solid blade extending out on the other arm. "How the hell do you know who I am?!" Will yells out, as Wing thrusts backwards, firing its vulcans and machinecannons at the suit.

Effortlessly dodging the attack, the ace continued on the offensive, easily evading the attacks. "It's simple really, once we saw Dynames, we cross-referenced the Gundam with the PMCs out there. It was fortunate for us, we found the Valkyries, and in that data, you. We know about you Will Barton, former captain of the EA, medical pilot, and ex-test pilot of the Wing Gundam. Once we learned the Gundam's name, we found and matched it perfectly," the ace explains, as it attacked at the flank with the sword. Catching the sword with the shield, the Flag rotated its saber and slashed at the Gundam, scorching the shoulder. Slashing with the saber again, Will tries to catch the Flag but it was easily intercepted by the Flag's other arm. Backing off quickly, Wing looks on at the opponent, as its pilot realizes more and more the desperate situation he was getting in.

Shit, Eleanor really caused me a lot of problems with that launch! "Tell me then, since I'm going to die anyway by your hands...who the hell are you?" Will yells out, stalling for time as he quickly thinks of something to even the odds a little bit.

"Hmm, fine then, since you'll die in these wastelands anyway..." the pilot starts, as the video filter was disabled, showing a pilot in his 30s as well with short blond hair. "I'm Major Alexander Barcalow, leader of the Sword Ravens. Now that you know, your Gundam is ours, we're here to claim that property, even if we have to bring it back in bits!" Barcalow says, as the GN Flag charges again.

Thinking quickly, Wing Gundam catches the space between the saber and the sword with its shield and thrusting its saber at the GN Flag. As the Flag deflects easily with the sword, Will immediately pushes the Gundam forward, smashing its own head into the the Flag's own head. While it wouldn't be enough to cause damage, it would be enough to disorient the pilot with ease and mess up the cameras for a moment. Reacting quickly, the Gundam used its shield to toss the lighter Flag to the side, breaking its sword in the process. Jamming the shield into the ground, Wing quickly disconnects its arm and draws out the second saber. As the Flag recovers, it sees the Gundam standing there with both sabers drawn, waiting for its opponent.

"So..you have a few tricks after all. You would have made a fine Sword Raven," Barcalow comments, noting the missing sword on the right arm. "However...you still won't keep up!" Barcalow finishes, as the Flag comes at the Gundam again. At the same time Wing Gundam moved to intercept, their sabers repeatedly clashed. Every time the GN Flag would move, Wing would counter, only for another blade to lash out as the Gundam could barely react in time to catch it. A single miss, a single misinterpretation would end the fight for the Gundam sooner than expected. As they backed off from one another, the Gundam firing off its machinecannons to deter its opponent, Will breathed heavily inside the cockpit. The pilot was determined and far more skilled. That much was noticeable. Across the Gundam there were various scorch marks, with little pieces of armor missing scattered across the body. On the opposite side of the fence floated the GN Flag, its armor had a few dings from the few rounds that hit it but nothing substantial despite its weaker frame.

Will could only hope for someone to respond to the incomplete message he sent out earlier. As he looked on, the GN Flag rushed forward for the Gundam once more. "Time to finish this, to show you how outclassed you really are," Alex taunts, as Will seethed with anger charging forward recklessly. Slashing across at the GN Flag with its left arm, the agile mobile suit deflects the slash with its damaged arm, moving its main body underneath and stabbing the saber directly into Wing's right shoulder. Letting go as the Gundam flailed with its left, its arm remain locked as Will couldn't move the arm. "Damnit, cmon Wing!"

"I tried to tell you, you're fighting someone far beyond your class. Though that's to be expected from a reserves fighter pilot. They just don't have the skill to handle such an elegant machine....or know exactly the little ins and outs of a mobile suit," Alex continues, taunting the ex-fighter pilot as the GN Flag moved in closer to the damaged suit.

Stabbing at the GN Flag with its saber, the Suit once again avoided it and grabbed ahold of its saber, pulling violently out of the shoulder of the Gundam to rip off its arm. Inside the cockpit pieces of the control panels shorted and exploded out as Will tried to shield himself, cutting up his arm and leaving a gash across the right side of his forehead, blood flowing down just around his eye. As Wing maintained its footing, the GN Flag held its ground floating there. "It's over...you have no right to be in that machine," Alex says, as Wing held the saber in its left hand defiantly.

"Goodbye, Will Barton," Alex yells as the GN Flag rushes in for the kill.

Eleanor was blasting her way through the skies. She was still at the Giga Float when she ha d a bad feeling. A feeling that Will had his life in danger, and she couldn't take it. Her feelings were always right, after all. However, she got the feeling that he was rather far away, almost.. in Australia, perhaps? Nonetheless, travelling from the pacific to Australia was usually that took almost an entire day, but she was determined to make it there, even if it would break her Gundam doing so. She was yelling at the machine in anger, it was still not performing the way she wanted, and at this rate, she had a bad feeling she wouldn't catch up to Will in time, and then.. he would never be hers.

"DAMNIT! Move faster, you piece of junk!" she yelled, slamming her fist into the monitor, and several other things, trying the magic tricks to get things to work better. Nothing worked. That, however, did not stop her from trying. "If I don't hurry up.. if I don't hurry up, Will will die! And if you can't protect someone, what's the point of your existance, GUUUUNDAAAAAM!?" she gave it one last smack, and it did.. something. The screens lit up, and she wasn't sure what it was, but she could feel the sudden G-forces. Dynames had started to move much faster, and Eleanor didn't know why, but she felt that.. she had some sort of connection with her machine. "Maybe.. maybe it's just.. that time of the month for you, huh, girl? You do seem a bit moody today~" she asked it, as she hurried to Will's position, now much quicker, she just had a feeling she would make it..

Just as she made it to his general area, she saw Will's Gundam, more or less ripped to shreds, and a wierd Flag heading toward it to finish it off. Coming in from above, she keeps firing ahead of the Flag, trying to get it to stop. During her shots, which came to be quite a few, she manages to yell. "WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLL!" was all that she could yell before she landed between them, almost before the shots even hit the ground. Her machine was shining red, those odd, green particles blasting out of her suit. Even quicker did she aim her rifle at the center of the black Flag. She didn't want to kill it, but if she had to in order to protect her Will, she would. She opened up a private channel with Will. "Heh, you're falling pretty badly today, aren't you? But don't worry, big sis is here to catch you, like always. And I always will be." she said, leaving the channel open long enough for him to reply. However, after that did she open up a public channel, in order to speak with the Flag pilot. "Leave now. I'll let you live." she said, no happiness in her voice this time.

Veering off as the radar alerted Alex to the Dynames' presence, Alex smirked as the Wing Gundam stood there, its saber drawn still with only one arm. "Looks like you get to live a little longer...next time!" Alex says over the channel as the suit switched over to its aerial mode and took off into the sky, following the path the other Flag had retreated to. Down below Will was fuming. His life was saved however the cause and how this attack even happened was flying above him. Ignoring the throbbing pain in his arm and forehead, Will leaned back in his chair, deactivating the beam saber. Tossing it aside Will guides the Gundam to pick up its buster rifle, before kicking down the shield. Attaching it on forcefully, the damaged Gundam reattached the shield to its socket, holding the Buster Rifle as it sat attached to the nose of the Gundam. "Get me out of here and back to the ship....right now," Will states, leaving the audio portion only on as he looked up at the Dynames. At this very moment, he really wanted to fire a shot with the Buster Rifle, but with all three cells used up, only a very low growl from his throat was audible. Closing his eyes, he felt himself get woozy, as he barely opened them to check his arm. Seeing it slashed up, Will groaned as he let his arm limp with his blood slowly oozing out from the wounds and down his fingertips.

"Damn...I just cleaned the cockpit the other day too..." Will mutters as he conserved his energy.

Eleanor notices how slump Will's movements with his Gundam seemed to be, and she came to the realization that he might be injured. However, that didn't stop her from getting mad after him bossing her around, even though she just saved his life, and his Gundam, which he seems to value more than his life. She easily wrings the shield, and the Buster Rifle off the Gundam's arm, still having that surprising speed in her machine. However, just as soon as she was going to shove him down, to force herself onto him, to show him why he should be nicer to her, her machine stopped shining, and the Dynames losing it's footing, falling onto Will's Gundam. After she stopped rattling around in the cockpit, Eleanor saw that the Dynames had managed to straddle the other Gundam in a rather awkward position. However, this made the cockpits meet up, possibly allowing her to get inside the white Gundam. She grabbed the small med-kit she has in the Dynames, opens up the hatch and jumps out onto the other Gundam.

After jumping onto the machine, she frantically searches for some sort of emergency cockpit opener, and after a little while she finds one and uses it, the cockpit hatch blowing open. After the dust is gone, she looks down on the scene, the entire cockpit seemingly covered in blood, and Will, as weak as she's ever seen him before, and she licks her lips with anticipation and excitement. She quickly jumps down there, and lands just next to him. She doesn't want to hurt him even more, after all. After seeing the big cuts on him, she tries to make him feel better.

"Don't worry Will. Big sis will take care of you, okay?" she asked, just as she opened up the the medkit, searching for the bandages. She manages to stop the bleeding in both the arm, and his forehead, and manages to bandage it up rather nicely, not looking *too* bad, despite her being in an extreme hurry to fix him up.

"There we go, all better, Will." she said, smiling. "Aren't you happy that you know someone like me, Will?"

Will groaned at the Dynames' sudden moves, pinning the suit. Barely keeping himself focused from passing out, Will was barely coherent as she patched him up. Hearing at least her words, Will kept himself from moving, instead relaxing into a slump as he recovered his energy. "I said...get me back to the ship...now get the hell out of my cockpit," Will answers. Not only was he pissed off now that the reason the Sword Ravens hunted him down so quickly was because of her, but also now she was ignoring what he was saying. The damn ship has what needs to be done, and now the Gundam is on its back with me even weaker....you have got to be kidding, now its gonna take longer.

He didn't both looking at her nor opening his eyes, mostly due to his weakened and woozy state.

Eleanor moaned out of anger. She finally had Will, but he's more like a zombie, rather than how he is usually.. She grumbled a bit before she took Will onto her shoulders, and exited the cockpit. She went up to Dynames' cockpit using the zipline-escue device on it, and managed to get them both inside.

"We have to get you out of that suit for now, just so nothing else blows up and hurts you, alright?" she said to him, trying to explain her actions. She sat down in the seat first, and made him sit down on top of her. After all, these things weren't really made for several people to be in them, but that was okay. She wasn't going to go out into battle, after all. She used the Dynames to put the other Gundam on it's shoulders, more or less giving it a piggy-back ride, and took the severed arm and shield underneath the Dynames' arms, in order to be able to carry everything there. The extra weight, and the already damaged Dynames made it a lot harder than usual to fly, but she made it, nonetheless.

"Don't worry Will.. I'll always be there to save you. I won't let anyone kill you. It's my fault they're able to get to you so easily, after all.." she says, almost mumbling. She figured Will probably wasn't listening, but she gave him a hug, and a kiss on the back of his head, nonetheless. After brining both Will and his Gundam to the Valhalla, she puts him outside of the cockpit, next to the Wing, which she had placed in the hangar. She quickly motions for the guards to send a medic over, and she goes back to Will. She gives him a big kiss, to say goodbye for now, and waves at him, walking toward the Dynames.

"Now, is there anything else you need from big sis before I go back, Will?" she asked, with a smile on her face.

His head swirled as he was brought over to Dynames. Once inside his body shut off, but his mind kept active. Within he could feel and hear everything, however despite Eleanor's actions, Will was still seething with anger. After getting out and simply receiving her kiss, Will turns his back to her and starts walking off before responding. "No, I have to report," Will answers as he slowly walks along the catwalk, looking over at the repair crews beginning their work. "Get Wing back to combat ready ASAP! I'm heading out again as soon as its done!" Will orders, as he kept walking towards the hangar doors. Stopping for a moment, Will closed his eyes, ignoring everything around him, as he remembered the words of Alexander Barcalow.

"It's over...you have no right to be in that machine."

He's right...everything I've done has been because of the aerial mode of the machine. In a straight MS fight I don't even hold a candle...I need to go on my own, to fight stronger.

Opening his eyes, Will noted the medics approaching and he sighed to himself. Once they approached, Will straightened himself out. "I'll submit my report first, it's important," Will states, pushing the medic out of the way as he made himself over to the Gundam, climbing back to the cockpit, grunting in pain as he did, and opened a feed to the bridge.

"Command, this is Will Barton, submitting my report. The patrol was rendered incomplete because of the PMC Sword Ravens. Four Flags were taken down, one Flag escaped, and a new Flag model was with them. Their unit leader is Major Alexander Barcalow, and they know a lot about the Valkyries. They know my identity, data, rank, you name it. They were able to cross-reference and showed a great deal of knowledge in the Wing Gundam. They were the same group that attacked me at Giga-Float when I joined the Valkyries, most likely were able to figure it out from the sighting of Dynames. The new Flag model did major damage to the Gundam before Dynames arrived. While the patrol was a failure, we gained new info on an enemy, it is the opinion of this pilot we proceed with caution," Will finishes, sending it up to them.

Hopefully they would be able to gain something from it as Will struggled out of the cockpit, barely making it over as the medic stood by. "Ok...now we can go," Will says, the light-headed feeling coming back as his bandages on the arm darkened. Helped by the medic, Will was escorted out to the med-bay.

A few days had passed since the patrol, as Will recuperated at the med-bay of Valhalla. Getting fully cleared, Will rubbed his arm as he put his jacket on, noting the scars where the cuts were. Straightening himself out, Will quickly left the med-bay for his room. Spending only a few minutes in his room, Will picked up the few things he needed for what he was going to do. Leaving quickly, the pilot found his way to the hangar, where a now fully repaired Wing Gundam stood. Climbing inside the cockpit, Will prepared the Gundam as he opened a comm. channel to the communications officer. "Barton, are you sure about this?"

"Yeah, I'll be back but for the time being, don't count on any immediate assistance from me. I'll return when I feel I'm ready," Will says, as the Gundam was transferred over to the linear catapult. Plus it's gonna take me time to forgive Eleanor for her stupidity at Giga-Float. "Will Barton, Wing Gundam, heading out," Will says, as the Gundam was launched out of the Valhalla. Transforming into the Bird Mode, the Gundam's thrusters ignited as the suit moved on with a heading for Northeast, flying towards South America. For him it was the best spot, and with lots of MS activity, it was time to go back and prepare himself.
