”So, I didn’t know you guys bought another car, Aki.” Kisu was curious about this. “Yeah…well, it was only a month ago.” Aki gripped the steering wheel tightly. Tension flowed off his facial expression and body language. “Hiro bought it with his savings…he was tired of sharing this car with us.” “I see. That’s cool.” Kisu looked out the window when they started following behind Hiro’s car. Aki said nothing more. He didn’t want to rant about it, but he felt like Hiro wasted his savings for some junky car that they really didn’t need—not to mention, the triplets’ savings was going to be for investing in their future band costs. Now one third of it was lost and it didn’t make Aki very happy. *** Despite Hiro’s rocky start, he was now driving pretty nicely down the street. He wasn’t speeding. He wasn’t driving on the sidewalks. He stopped at the stop signs and didn’t speed through lights. But he was bored. It was too quiet in the car for him. “SO….” Hiro tapped his fingers on the steering wheel, “Any body got any complaints about school besides me?” “Yeah. I hate learning kanji.” Lily said, leaning on the side of the car. “Well duh.” Hiro rolled his eyes with a smile, “Learning the alphabet in kindergarten was so much easier.” “That’s cause it’s only 26 letters. Kanji is like 2,500 symbols and some of them look way too similar.” Lily nodded. “They’re fun to draw though.” Taku said with his head in the palm of his hand, wondering why Hiro wasn’t driving below his own standards. “You’re a weirdo, Taku.” Lily smiled jokingly. “Thanks, I try to be.” Hiro was about to add something to the conversation, but he was now too busy with passing slow cars and nearly hitting a light post. In the other car, snickering could be heard from Aki while he watched his brother’s driving. |

(Er, in case you didn't notice, I had to edit your post a little.... >.> Nothing major, I just had to change the size of the font to 4, 'cause....my eyes were having trouble reading the words.... @@;;;; But that's all I did. If it's not too much trouble, could you try to keep the size of the font(s) to a size that's not too small and is easier for me to read? ^^;;;;..) Sparx noticed briefly the tension in Aki's overall appearance, and happened to notice him gripping the steering wheel so tightly. Sweatdropping a bit and deciding that he shouldn't comment on it, he decided to say something to lighten Aki up a bit. "Soo....uh....What do they serve at that Italian restaurant, Kisu?" he asked randomly, for he couldn't really think of another thing to say or ask at the moment. Hiroko slouched a bit in her seatbelt. Hiro's mentioning of school complaints reminded her of her own issues at school.... "Yeah, I absolutely hate P.E.," she murmured, placing down her folder she had been holding close to her on her lap and staring down at the picture on her folder's cover. It was one of her past drawings; she would makes copies of pictures she was proud of and place them on the front and back covers of her folder. It calmed her a bit to look at the drawing, tracing her finger around the image. "The locker rooms are cramped, there's no room to move, the people in my P.E. class dislike me, and I overall just suck at every sport known to man, and yes, that includes that.....dancing thing that Irish people do," she said with a sigh. Her eyes widened a bit as Hiro managed to not hit that light post, and hugged her folder tightly. "GEEZ, be careful, Hiro!" she exclaimed, somewhat freaked. |

[Oh sorry. I had no idea it would be hard on your eyes 'cause I can see it okay. ^^' My teachers use that one all the time and I just realized that I liked it. xD *shot*] "They have mostly Italian based pasta dishes in general and of course, pizza!" Kisu replied with a smile. "Oh, Aki-kun, what will you have?" "I'm not sure." Aki replied solemnly. "Can we share something?" Kisu said with dreamy eyes. Aki didn't notice them, and he didn't catch the hints Kisu was passing out for him. "Well, that would depend of course." Aki shrugged, lifting a hand off the steering wheel. "I mean, if you have to sit next to me, then...I'd doubt it." That might've burned any other girl, but Kisu kept an outside smile on, whether she was breaking inside or not, it was anybody's guess. *** "It-It's not my fault that light post was on the road!" Hiro frowned. "Where are you looking? That thing was on the sidewalk." Taku blinked. "Oh, really? ...I guess I didn't see it there." Hiro shrugged. Lily bit her lip. Half scared and half confused---how in the world could she like someone like Hiro? From the first day they met, Hiro pursued her in his fantasies of love. She would have never liked him that way if she didn't hear his singing voice. And sometimes, she thought his boyish, immature personality was funny and cute. But usually, Lily would be turned off by Hiro's kind...which is why she found herself in confusion. Hiro started smiling at Hiroko's small description of the girls' locker room. A room chock full of girls---Hiro had trouble trying to control himself at the thought! "What else can you tell me about this wondrous locker room for girls?" Lily looked up in the back view mirror seeing the driver of the car daydreaming--the big grin, the stupid lovey look in his eyes--she knew the look too well. "Keep your eyes on the road!" Taku's eyes narrowed in fear for the lady that was walking the crosswalk at the moment. Hiro slammed his foot on the breaks. "Whoops...but hey, I didn't run anybody over yet." Hiro joked. Taku laughed weakly as he looked away. "Ha..ha...yeah, bro." "It's not just his eyes, it's his mind too. Daydreaming about girls' locker rooms much, Hiro?" Lily shook her head. "...Oh yeah? Well, I bet you'd like to know what the boys' locker room is like!" Hiro smiled. "No." Lily smirked back, "It's probably unsanitary." "No...it's not...well...heh." Hiro scratched the back of his head, and looked to Taku for support. "Well..." Taku started, "Um, what's your definition of unsanitary?" "HAHA. I knew it." Lily laughed. "It's not THAT dirty!" Both of them blurted out at the same time. "If it was, I wouldn't want to go in there." Hiro tried to settle the argument but it wasn't possible yet. "Please, guys, don't try to defend yourselves. I've seen your room before. And your basement! If that isn't a statement of what you think is sanitary and what's not, then I don't know what would be!" Lily smiled victoriously, winning the argument completely with that statement, and also causing both Hiro and Taku to turn a shade of light pink in slight humiliation. "So...fine. So what if we have a messy bedroom?" Hiro started speaking quietly, "Does that reflect our opinion of public spaces? Huh? And if so, how can you tell?" Hiro stuck his tongue out in the mirror at her, grinning. Lily face faulted at Hiro's unseen comeback. So she switched the subject to anything she could find at the moment. "...So do you draw or something?" Lily pointed towards Hiroko's folder. |

(That's alright. ^^;;; It's just that I have trouble reading small, tightly-pressed-together letters. My eyes tend to just blur them together, or lose my place in the sentence.... ^^lll *This is what happens when you burn your eyes out watching TV and playing video games all the time.... ^^';'*) Sparx's eyes widened in excitement at the mention of pizza. "Oh, I am DEFINITELY getting some pizza!" he decided cheerfully, rubbing his stomach as he began to fantasize about having a slice of pizza right now and in his mouth. "Mmm....pizza, pizza, pizza...." ~*~ Hiroko sweatdropped a bit at Hiro, both at his not realizing that the light post was definitely not on the road, and that due to his daydreaming of the "wondrous locker room for girls," he was just close to almost running over that lady that was walking on the crosswalk. She sighed, cupped her chin in one hand as she leaned her elbow against the car's door, and looked out the window, barely paying much attention to the little "debate" Lily and Hiro were having regarding how the boys viewed sanitation issues. She zoned out for a moment, but snapped out of it as she heard Lily's voice asking about if she drew. "Huh? OH, uh.....yeah, I like to draw...." she said quietly, returning her attention back to her folder. She poked the cover of her folder a bit, when something occurred to her. "OH!!! That reminds me, I forgot to show Sparx that drawing!" she exclaimed, slipping her hand into her folder and pulling out the drawing she had done while waiting for Sparx outside of the boys locker room. She stared at her drawing for a short while, then showed it to Lily. "Wanna see? It's a manga-style drawing of Sparx that I drew when we were waiting for the guys," she explained briefly as she handed the drawing over. |

[xD Okays.] "I think I want some pizza too..." Kisu pondered. Aki only kept quiet, though he was thinking about pastas at the restaurant. *** "Hm, that's not bad." Lily said as she looked over the picture. "Actually, it's real...cute." Lily raised her eyebrow at the word she just used. Cute was not a word she used often. But it was the only word that she could find that described Hiroko's style. "And..." Lily started again, giving Hiroko's drawing back, "that's rare coming from me. I'm not partial to cute things." "WHAT? But how come you like US? We're totally cute!" Hiro smiled, turning into a parking lot. "That's a different, complex thing that I'm not going to talk about." Lily rolled her eyes. "So...you're admitting we're cute, secretly?" Hiro grinned now. "Shut-up!" Lily snapped, "Shut-up and park already." Lily looked outside, there was a strip mall just like Kisu said there was. Hiro pouted. "Fine. What about you, Hiroko? Do you think we're cute?" He was joking, but his facial expression was desperate for a 'yes'. Lily groaned and unbuckled her seat belt. She opened the car door after Hiro parked but she found that she couldn't open the door. This was because Hiro parked too close to the car next to him and if she opened it anymore than a few inches, she would dent or scratch the other car. "You parked a bit too close to the car on the right." Taku stated as he was in the same situation Lily was in. "Oh...whoops." Hiro said as he looked over at the other side. "That's alright though. You guys....just slide out on this side!" Hiro opened the door and jumped out of the car. But he didn't notice another car turning into the parking spot next to Hiro's car. The other car, which happened to be Aki's car, didn't notice Hiro either, until the last second. "DUDE!" Hiro shouted when Aki slammed the breaks on. The bumper of Aki's car touched Hiro's legs. "Can you not run me over?" Aki rolled down his window, "I'm soooo sorry, Hiro." Aki began to ease his foot off the break, which caused the car to go forward again. Hiro jumped back. "What's your problem?" Hiro balled his fists once he knew Aki couldn't go any farther with the car. "I'm giving you a dose of your own medicine." Aki turned off the car finally and stepped out of the car. "Come on, Hiro. You think I'd kill you?" "Yes...I think I've annoyed you that many times." Hiro laughed nervously, letting his guard down a bit now, as he thought back last month, and how angry Aki was when he brought home the car. "Ahhh, so Hiro actually admits that he's annoying! Let's get this in writing." Lily laughed. "That's a good idea." Aki smiled slyly. But it didn't mean anything. |

Hiroko smiled and took her drawing back, slipping it back into the safety of her folder. "Thanks. I've been told that, from random people to even teachers at school who catch me drawing..." she laughed quietly. She sweatdropped a bit at Hiro when he turned and asked her on her opinion. "Ummm.....I have the right not to answer that question and to remain silent for anything I say can and will be used against me in a court of law?" she said sheepishly. "Besides, uh, I'm just a freshman. What would I know about that?" she said, hoping that poor excuse would be enough to excuse herself from the question. She watched with a sweatdrop as Aki almost ran Hiro over, unbuckled her seat belt and carefully opened the door on her side of the car and slid out. Sparx unbuckled his seat belt as he got out of Aki's car, and waved at Hiroko when she was out. "Hey, Hiroko!" he greeted with a grin. Hiroko looked up and nodded at Sparx a bit, waving briefly at him. She looked over to where Aki and Hiro were, sweatdropping a little more at their conversation after Aki tried to "run over" Hiro on purpose. She leaned against the door briefly, waiting for them to start heading into the strip mall to go eat. "Hey, come on, you guys! Let's get to that restaurant already, my stomach's growling and it's plotting to kill us all and devour the world if we don't eat soon!" Sparx yelled jokingly at Aki and Hiro. Hiroko only laughed at Sparx's little "warning." |

Hiro laughed, "Aw, come on, Hiroko!" He tilted his head with a sigh. "Fine then...I'll ask Kisu!" Hiro ran over to Kisu as she was walking towards the building. "Kisu, do you think we're cute?" Kisu blinked, "Well, DUH. You are the three most cutest things on the planet." Kisu tried to reach up to embrace him but Hiro didn't notice or didn't care, because he turned around and stuck his tongue out playfully, "HAH, hear that, girls?" Aki just raised his eyebrow at him and looked at Hiroko and Lily. "I just knew I shouldn't had left you two with him. Is he harassing you, Hiroko? Cause if he is, I'm going to really get on his case. He's nearly eighteen for goodness sakes!" Taku laughed at Sparx. "Come on...I really don't want to die just cause we're too slow for your stomach." Taku began to make his way towards to entrance. |

Hiroko sweatdropped a bit, eyes widening as she waved her arms in front of her. "Oh, no, it wasn't anything like that! He was just asking me if I thought you guys were cute, 'cause Lily wouldn't say and stuff, but that's it!" she said nervously. Sparx grinned. "Wells, if we get there now, my stomach might consider not killing you guys," he joked, following Taku to the entrance. Hiroko saw Sparx and Taku head to the entrance, and decided to follow, hugging her folder along with her as she ran to catch up to them. "Well, come on, let's go eat!" she called over her shoulder to the others who were lagging a little bit behind. |

Aki eyed Hiroko as he made his way towards the building with everyone else. He sighed, but he ultimately decided that she was honest about her answer and said nothing more. With everyone inside the building, the smell of Italian pastas and pizzas filled their noses. "Aw..." Hiro's mouth watered, "I wish I knew about this place earlier, I'd make it my new hang out place." "Same here." Lily pushed through the three red headed boys, eager to fill her mouth with some Italian pasta. "We're gunna hafta split up again, the most chairs at one table is four." Taku noted sadly. It was a debate on whether he should sit with some friends he hasn't talked to much or if he should just stick with his brothers. "That's alright!" Hiro leaped forward, "The tables are close together, we can still talk to everyone." "Yeah, Taku. He's right." Aki pat his brother's shoulder as he sensed his emotion. |

Hiroko nodded a bit. "Yeah, that's true," she agreed, walking over to a table that was next to another empty table and sat down. "These two tables over here are empty. We could sit here?" she suggested, setting her folder down on the table as she sat down on one of the chairs. Sparx followed Hiroko to the same table, sitting down quickly and picking up a nearby menu, flipping through it for the pizza options. "Hmm, what kinda pizza do they have...." he asked out loud as he read the menu quietly to himself. Hiroko sweatdropped a bit at Sparx. "Sparx, remember, don't order all the pizzas in this restaurant...." she reminded him nervously. Sparx frowned a bit. "Aww, I won't eat THAT many pizzas! .....Maybe five or six...hundred," he said jokingly. |

The boys, Lily and Kisu followed Hiroko's lead and sat down at the two tables. Aki picked up a menu and looked at it thoughtfully, but then he closed it shortly after. "Uh, shouldn't we wait for Ichigo before we place an order? Does he get offended with stuff like that?" Aki leaned over the table with his hands folded on top of his menu, looking directly at Hiroko across from him at a diagonal angle-- for an answer. "Spaghetti!" Hiro randomly exclaimed, "This is what I want." He looked at Lily, "Do you like spaghetti?" "Meh." Lily just shrugged, not giving a straight answer. "Okaay...Miss anti social." Hiro turned his attention to Kisu, "Do you like spaghetti?" "Yup." Kisu nodded, "But I want something else..." Hiro sighed. His plan wasn't working. What he wanted to do was order a big plate of spaghetti and share it with Lily. That way--like in the movies--at the end of the spaghetti, he would get a kiss. And he even thought it would be okay if it was Kisu instead. "...I think I want some fettuccine Alfredo." Taku had only glanced at the menu for less than a minute before he made his decision. "And...do they have yummy bread sticks here?" "The kind you get at the Olive Garden? Fresh and warm?!" Hiro overheard his brother, "Aw man, I totally doubt it. Nobody can compare to Olive Garden." "Yeah...that's what I thought..." Taku laughed warmly, remembering Olive Garden---they hadn't been there for so long, but they did love and miss their bread sticks. |

Hiroko thought to herself, and shrugged. "I don't think he'd get too offended. I think he'd understand. 'Sides, he should be here soon enough before they take our orders...." she reasoned. And like Hiroko said, at that moment Ichigo arrived in the restaurant, looking around at the tables until his eyes came across the tables Hiroko and the others were sitting at, and rushed over to their table. "Ah, hey, guys! Sorry if I'm late or anything," Ichigo said as he took the last seat at one of the tables. "No problem, you're just on time!" Sparx grinned. "We just got here, too." "Oh, alright then," Ichigo nodded as he took a menu as well. "Well, let's see what they got here...." |

Lily looked up from her menu when Ichigo came in. "Hey." She greeted and returned her attention to the menu again. But then she looked over at Taku. She wanted to say something but he was already talking. "Hey, how are you?" Taku asked Ichigo in politeness while he folded the menu he had. Hiro gave a silent two finger salute as a greeting and then exclaimed, "I want what Taku's getting~!" "Kinda funny," Aki started, "I was talking about you just before you came." "Hi Hiroko's brother!" Kisu said with a smile. Aki's attention wandered back to Hiro, "You want fettuccine Alfredo too? Ever since Kisu mentioned they had pasta here, that's what I wanted." "Dude, we gotta stop doing that triplet-thing." Hiro laughed. "Well, that's no surprise." Lily attempted to enter the conversation, "I kind of it expected that from you guys." She smiled weakly, but for some reason, she wasn't getting the attention she wanted from the red heads right now. Instead of trying to get more attention, she just slouched in her seat and waited for someone to come and take their orders. Now she knew how Taku felt that night of the Christmas dance. Out of the blue, Aki overheard some Japanese youth in behind him talking about some strange myth about a haunted house. He couldn't make out every single thing they were saying, but it was definitely intriguing anyway. He glanced at Hiro, to see if he was listening too, but Hiro didn't understand Japanese too well yet, and he wasn't a very good eavesdropper anyway---because of his hyper and somewhat loud personality. Aki realized the description of the mansion the teenagers were babbling about sounded familiar. He had heard it somewhere before, probably at school. It was an entirely creepy sounding thing that sent shivers down his spine but he didn't believe in ghosts or things of the like. He wanted to prove, at least to himself, that there's no such thing in the forest of the town they lived in... |

(Hey, uh, Whispers? Is your Inbox full or something? 'Cause I'm having trouble sending you a new message, but I can still save the message just fine, but it won't send. So...I dunno what's up.... ~.o;..) Ichigo waved briefly at Lily, Kisu, and Taku as they greeted him. "Hey. I'm good, kinda starving at the moment." He laughed and looked over at Aki curiously. "Really, huh? That's kinda funny," he laughed a little. Hiroko, Sparx, and Ichigo hadn't noticed that Aki was listening in on another conversation close by. Soon, a waiter came walking over to the group's tables. "Hello, I will be your waiter for this evening. How may I serve you today?" he asked them politely. Sparx pulled out his menu and opened it up to the pizzas section, pointing straight to a picture of a pizza with meatballs, green dell peppers, sausage, tomatoes, and pineapple. "I'd like that kind of pizza, please!" he said cheerfully. Hiroko looked through her own menu, and pointed to a kind of pasta dish on the menu. "I'd like that, I guess," she murmured quietly. Ichigo looked through his menu, and gave his order to the waiter as well. (Whatever it is, I dunno; I'm braindead regarding food choices). The waiter wrote their orders down, then turned to the others. "And what will you be having?" he asked curiously. |

[Uh, no, it wasn’t completely full, it was 86% full, though. But I just deleted a ton of messages so I could have more room in case it was because of that. ^^;] The triplets told the waiter what pasta dish they all wanted, Lily ordered a small pizza and Kisu asked for a seafood pasta dish, and the waiter left to fill their orders. After a while, Aki could tell Hiro was getting restless waiting for their food to come and that wasn’t good. The first thing Hiro would do in a situation like this was to start spit balling people using the paper napkins which he seemed to be caressing in deep thought at the moment. Aki could always tell what Hiro was thinking inside by looking at his eyes, and right now they looked playfully mischievous. “So…” Aki picked up some chopsticks that were near his hands and started playing with them. “Have you guys ever heard that weird myth in this town? The one about some ghostly mansion in the forest outside of the main residential area?” Hiro’s eyes perked up, “Hey, I know that myth thing! I think…” He wasn’t so sure about how many details he picked up whenever some teachers or students started to talk about it. “I’ve…always been a little cautious about that forest.” Taku admitted with his eyes staring at the table in front of him. He really didn’t know what to believe but he figured it was better to be cautious. “Well, I don’t believe in it. I’ve never believed in ghosts before, so I won’t start now because of another ghost story.” Aki tilted his head and a small smile grew on his face, “But I have this slight infatuation with it and I don’t get why.” Lily and Kisu just listened to the conversation, Kisu had heard about it millions of times from her grandparents and Lily had heard about it like how the triplets did. “It’s because it’s thrilling to think about, that’s why! I know I find myself thinking about going down there from time to time just to see if it’s really true.” Hiro smiled enthusiastically. “I dunno Hiro…thinking about killer ghost houses kind of makes my stomach upset.” Taku smiled weakly, getting the feeling Hiro wanted to take the weekend to go down there and explore at midnight now that Aki had mentioned this. |
