" WILL YOUS STOP YELLIN' KID!?" the Mushroom yelled loudly, slamming it's top on Taku, annoyed. "What's wit' yous, kid? Dids yer mommy fahget to change yer daipah?" The Mushroom said mockingly, laughing at his own joke."

"Hey! That's not nice!" Zu exclaimed, pointing a finger at the mushroom. "How can you talk anyways? You don't even have a mouth! Or eyes for that matter! How are you talking and looking at us?"

"Its a little thing called being PSYCHIC! I thought yous woulda knowed that if yous came into the Psychic Forest!"

"Psychic forest...?"

"YES PSYCHIC FOREST! Ya know, the little Forest just to the left'a Feline Village? Evey livin' thing here's psychic. duh."

"Ah!" Taku squeaked and coward before the mushroom. He slowly inched away from it. He bumped into a medium sized rock and then he shot up to his feet, startled by it.

"Psy...chic..." Taku shuddered as he whispered, then he felt kind of angry suddenly, "Idiot! How the..." he cursed, "are we supposed to know that this is a friggin' psychic forest when we just friggin' poofed here outta no wheres? As much as I love your cheery little mushroom-ness, I think it's best if you leave us alone now so we can deal with this problem of ours. I sincerely apologize that we bothered you by dropping in on your head!" He whirled around and stumbled to walk, he found he was regaining his mind a little.

"If I had it my way, we wouldn't of dropped in at all." He mumbled lowly to himself.

It was probably because he was angry now, and not dwelling on the loneliness he was still feeling.

I'm the idiot...talking to a friggin' 'psychic' mushroom... He thought bitterly, as he clenched his fists. Then he remembered the book.

The book probably brought them here, he figured. It did do the other strange things. He remembered it more vividly now, when he looked at his palm. He stumbled closer to the others, looking for it on the ground.

Your beautiful words in my soul
I could die here tonight

You wouldn't even protest

Maybe things will get better
Maybe not, I don't know why

Hiroko stared at Taku as he exploded at the mushroom, and turned her attention to the mushroom, a bit nervously. "Um, he's kinda right about that...." she confirmed a little. "We're......not exactly from around here. At all, really....like Taku just said, we just somehow....appeared here, or poofed, or....I dunno....." she muttered quietly, feeling hesitant that she was talking to a large pyshic mushroom.

"ohhh, I get it. Yous got brought here by a book right?" The mushroom asked, ignoring the explosion from Taku. Zu was very confused, but responded.

"Y.. YEah. Do you know about the book?" Zu asked.

"Know about it? It's been in the news for weeks! The rest of the forest kept going on and on and on about how "the kids'a the First'll rebuil' the bridges" of bla bla bla! It got on mah nerves for days an' a haff!" The mushroom explained what he knew. Zu took the tone in his 'voice' as uncertainty, and tried placing the new information in a way that made sense.

"...and then they said somethin' about it bein' a shapeshiftin' goil, some grayscale witch, a guy that could clone hisself, and somethin' about connectin' them all together." THe mushroom continued, rambling on to himself. Zu tried putting them together, and looked at the others. Something told her the Mushroom was talking about them...

Hiroko blinked in confusion. She couldn't tell what exactly what this mushroom was saying, for his rambling didn't make much sense to her, as much as she tried to listen. "Ummm......w-what exactly are you talking about....?" she muttered a bit nervously, hoping that she didn't sound rude saying it like that.

Taku found the book laying in tall grass as the mushroom started talking. He picked it up and turned around. He started listening to the mushroom, kind of distracted from the book and curious in knowing what the mushroom had to say.

He didn't get what the mushroom said the first time and when he thought it over again then saw Zu looking at them, he kinda was thinking the same thing she was.

"I think I get it. The book brought us three and he's talkin' about...a shape-shifting girl, grayscale witch and... a guy who can clone himself. I just don't understand the rebuilding of the bridges thing." He mumbled as he sat down on a rock.

Geez, this is just getting better and better. I-Is this stupid 'Book of Worlds' even going to let us go home? It still sounds like some fantasy video game...

"Hey...this could be a dream." Taku's eyes widened and he ran to over to Hiroko, trying his best to believe that this was not reality.

"Pinch my arm! Here!" He threw his arm out in front of her, trying his best to keep a positive attitude, as if the more 'faith' he had, then maybe he'd actually wake up in a class or something with his brothers sticking those stick-notes on his back with jokes or insults written on them.

Hiroko blinked with an anime sweatdrop, staring a bit at Taku, wondering if he had just snapped a bit. "Umm......uh....." she mumbled hesitantly, not sure if she really should try to pinch him.

(Hey, guys. This ish Hiroko here, filling in for Kitty as part of my oh-so-brilliant idea to help Kitty reply more to the RP's. *She's having computer problems, or rather, her computer gets wonky everytime she tries to get on and reply* Sooo.......yeah, just letting you all know if suddenly you notice that Kitty's typing has improved. xD *Panned to death* Kidding, kidding. ^^ XD)

Kitty looked around at her surroundings, eyes widening as she saw that the familar worn bookshelves of the library were replaced by humongous trees and greenery. This sudden change in scenery filled her with panic.

"Where...in the world...are we...?" she whispered, mostly to herself, too absorbed in her own terror and discomfort to notice anything else.

Caught by surprise, she cursed loudly when the giant mushroom tilted downwards, causing her to fall off and land on her face. "Owww...." she moaned a bit, muffled by the leaf-covered ground. Slowly, she got back on her feet, brushing off the dirt and dead brown leaves off of herself when she heard a voice. She looked up, puzzled, and saw that the large mushroom they had fallen off of was the source of the voice.

The mushroom...is talking....without a face.... she thought dumbfoundly.

She listened to the brown haired girl, Zu, voice the question that was no doubt on everyone's mind, and looked at the mushroom as it explained that they were all in the "Psychic Forest," and began to chastize them for not knowing where they were.

"Well, how are we supposed to know we? We ain't---" But Kitty was interupted before she could finish her statement as Taku started to flip out as he stumbled closer to the rest of the group.

Kitty turned her attention back towards the mushroom, who tried to explain what he knew about the strange book that had got them here.

"So, there's supposed to be a shapeshifter, a witch, some duplicator guy, and they all need to be some how 'connected' together, and something about them involved with the 'first rebuilding of the bridge' thing, or something like that, right?" she questioned. Her attention went back to Taku, who was asking for Hiroko to pinch him. Annoyed by his behavior, she walked over to him and slapped him harshly on the back of the head.
Nobody knows who I really am
I never felt this empty before
And if I ever need someone to come along,
Who's gonna comfort me, and keep me strong?

We are all rowing the boat of fate
The waves keep on coming and we can't escape
But if we ever get lost on our way
The waves would guide you through another day

Taku fell over when Kitty hit him, "Owwww... What is your problem, freak?! I don't even know your name and you hit me?! We're starting off on the right foot, aren't we," He finished in a sarcastic tone.

If she was a guy he would have punched him in the face but Taku was taught that he wasn't to hit girls. The same with his two brothers. Their mother had been very strict on them when they got into a fight with a very sassy girl at a park when they were 5 years old.

Taku got up to his feet and started walking away, grumbling with his veins about to explode. He felt like being alone, suddenly. The memory of being at a park together with his brothers and mom stirred him again. None of these people were his brothers, and he felt arrogant towards them. He didn't mean to be, but he only wanted one thing. And the one thing wasn't those three.

If I was hit then I guess this isn't a dream...it's real. His expression fell considerably as he rubbed his head. So empty. So alone. He might as well be dead to the world.

" thanks for telling us what you know sir. We won't bother you anymore."

"I hopes not!" with that, Zu went over to Taku, dragging "koko" and the other girl. Zu ran up to Taku, about to start a conversation with him.

" HEY! Taku! If that mushroom is talking about us, then you must be the guy that can clone himself!" Zu waited for Taku to turn around and face her, which he almost did. He turned slightly.

"I don't like it as much as you do, but we have to find out what's going on through the book. If this is real, then we may as well find out what the book is and why it brought us here, if anything else." Taku didn't say anything. "It's the best chance we have of going home."

...the best chance we have of going home...

Those words kept going through Taku's mind over and over.

Home... He thought, brushing his hand through his deep reddish orange bangs. Well, suddenly he had been convinced. Home is where he wanted to be and it did seem like finding out more about the book and why it brought them here would help them figure things out. He turned all the way around to face Zu.

"Okay." He said quietly, putting one of his hands in his pant pocket.

"What...exactly do we do?" He asked, his mind still not completely clear.

Hiroko blinked a bit as Zu dragged her and Kitty with her over to Taku. She listened to Zu, barely starting to comprehend what exactly she meant by all of this. W-wait.....so that big.....mushroom.....thing....it could've been talking about US??? She looked over at Taku, and back to Zu. Thinking it over, she began to realize that Zu could be right about this, about the book, and perhaps about what the mushroom had said, about these certain people, and how maybe it was them he was talking about....

Kitty raised an eyebrow at the brown haired girl when she pulled everyone together, wondering what she was planning to do. As she listened to her, Kitty found herself agreeing with Zu. That seems to make sense...not like we have any other option...

"So if we really are, umm, those people that mushroom dude mentioned, what exactly are we suppose to do? It’s not like we can just stay here and mop around, right?" She asked aloud.

"Taku, can I see the book?" Zu asked. She remembered being able to read the book slightly, but all she could read was "take their destiny" or something of the like. Maybe she could find out what the rest of the book said. If anything, it would help categorize everyone to what they were supposed to be.

[I won't be around much for a little while. Sorry.]

Taku nodded silently as he handed Zu the book.

Then he remembered about his cell phone. Even if he couldn't use right now, he knew he'd still want it later. He'd have to buy another one if he didn't find this one, and he couldn't afford anything right now. So he ran back to the tree he was sulking behind before and looked for it. Which wasn't too far away.

He searched through the grass and he found it where he dropped it. As he made his way back to the group, he looked at photos of his brothers in his cell to keep him sane as he waited for Zu.
