in photoshop, how you make the background of an image transparent? these new team icons' background looked transparent before I uploaded them, but now they don't..

When you make a new file, you can decide if the background has to be white or transparent, right? |

I don't really know what team icons you're talking about, but... Not every image file supports transperacy. Try to save them as a different image file. I'm shure about .gif files supporting transperancy, others too but i don't know for shure what those are...But anyway try saving them as .gif files, that should probably do the trick. |

I'm talking about the icons under member's names (like admin, moderator etc), they are gif files, anyways I fixed it by changing the white color.. :rolleyes: |

glad you sorted it...saving as a gif usually preserves transparancies..i've been using photoshop for over 10 years and i still can't figure it out half the time..
