Welcome to the tutorials section! If you like to make a tutorial, please post it in here. There are 2 ways to make a tutorial:

  • An image-based tutorial.
  • A text-based tutorial.
You can make an image-based tutorial, by creating a picture (for example 500x3000 pixels), with text and pictures included in one big image. Note that this tutorial shouldn't be too long, because the file would be huge.
You can also make a text-based tutorial, by just typing the text in your post, and by refering to pictures, uploaded seperatly. Note that a text-based tutorial also shouldn't be too long, because that would make it a little messy. Since we cannot make any more subsections within a section we have to do in within one section.

Tip: You can only use 10 screenshots, so only post the most important screenshots if you make a text-based tutorial.

Well, here's my first text-based tutorial for Adobe Photoshop for beginners. Since I can only use 10 screenshots in one post, I've only added the most important screens. To view the result, scroll down to the end of this post.
1. Start Adobe Photoshop.
2. Press File>New.
3. Since I am going to make a signature, change the options to something like this. However, you can adjust it if you want.

You will now have an empty box.
4. Press 'd' on your keyboard, so your colors will be reset (don't worry, this won't delete anything).
5. Click on Filter>Render>Clouds.
You will now see some black clouds in your box.
6. Click on Filter>Pixalate>Mosaic.

7. Change the Cell Size option to 18 (or just anything you like).
Now, you will have something like this:

8. Now go to Filter>Blur>Radial Blur.
9. Change the options to this:

This is what you get:

10. Go to Filter>Brush Strokes>Accented Edges and fill in the following:

Now it's starting to look like something nice...

11. Now click on Filter>Stylize>Find Edges.
This will be the result:

12. Now press Ctrl+I , so the colors will be switched.
13. Finally, press Ctrl+U and then click 'colorize' to change to color of the image. Try to find a nice color for yourself. These are my settings:

If you want, you can add text to your image, by pressing 't' on your keyboard, or by pressing the 'Horizontal Type Tool' at your toolbar, by clicking on the image. Since I'm not so good at this part, I will leave it like this :D.
This is my result:
