Frollo [Slowking] — The mind's eye rules. Those who seem king, are king. One of the few non-Shadow Pokémon that Greevil owns, and probably the single one he will ever care about. He named Frollo after an acncient king, in the hopes of its evolution as such. Greevil has been through much with this Pokémon, and is the living example of the shred of goodness inside him. Ability: Regenerator Move Pool: Psychic, Ice Beam, Slack Off, Signal Beam, Flamethrower, Magic Coat, Drain Punch, Trump Card, Brine, Scald, Disable. Ferrothorn — To persevere is key: once you weather erosion, nothing can shake you.One of the few non-Shadow Pokémon that Greevil owns. Delivered to him by Eldes as a birthday present as a Ferroseed. It is callous and does as commanded, much like the Shadow process would have induced. Ability: Iron Barbs Move Pool: Power Whip, Leech Seed, Spikes, Gyro Ball, Iron Head, Pin Missile, Magnet Rise, Endeavor. Spiritomb — Reality is but illusion. Expose something as truth, and it will earn no trust. One of the few non-Shadow Pokémon that Greevil owns. He discovered the Odd Keystone and inserted it into the Hallowed Tower. The mischievous spirit inside found common ground with Greevil, and has been a part of his team since. Ability: Pressure Move Pool: Protect, Ominous Wind, Dark Pulse, Spite, Destiny Bond, Pain Split, Icy Wind, Torment. Aggron — Strategy, no matter how complex, will always yield to sheer force of will. One of the few non-Shadow Pokémon that Greevil owns. A prize from one of his early Trainer battles, he never used it much. It sat in the PC as a Lairon for quite some time; it has not warmed up to its Trainer yet, and so has a Sassy attitude toward him. Ability: Sturdy Move Pool: Dragon Rush, Heavy Slam, Head Smash, Superpower, Earthquake, Metal Burst, Automotize. Crobat [Shadow] — Quick wit is better than a quick fist.A former partner of his, Greevil's Crobat was turned Shadow during the early stages of Cipher, as a Golbat. It is now apathetic and only wishes to maim its targets. Ability: Infliltrator Move Pool: Shadow Storm, Shadow Shed, Shadow Panic, Shadow Mist, Shadow Rave. Snorlax (Shiny) [Shadow] — What's important is not to worry. Needless dithering gets no-one, nowhere.A Pokémon that Greevil found extremely useful, and resolved to make better by closing the door to its heart. Ability: Thick Fat Move Pool: Shadow End, Shadow Bolt, Shadow Break, Shadow Sky, Shadow Hold. Also at the Grand Master's fingertips is the entire Shadow Reserve of Cipher.
- "Nothing but a harmless old man.... SURPRISE!"

Greevil is one of the shortest old men you will ever meet, at 3' 8". At first glance, he may appear doddery and kind. His yellow-gold eyes, once open, can be quite unnerving. The shroud he wears is a deep purple with gold accents. His shoes are quite plain, in contrast to this. He always carries a cane or walking-stick of some sort with him.
He often can be seen riding a hover-chair, as his body is somewhat frail, as befits his age. He doesn't move around much, unless angered. His bald head is very shiny, almost reflective. Don't say anything about it, though.

Greevil is not one to suffer fools, period. If someone makes a blunder, that is their fault. The only exceptions to this rule are his two underling Admins, Ardos and Eldes. As a result, the Grand Master can be swayed by them (take Citadark blowup, for example). One of his defining characteristics is his patience. Normally, Greevil can wait a long time for his plans to come to fruition. However, obstacles to his plots severely anger him.
The Grand Master's approach to things, whether world domination or battle, is wearing down the foe. As a consequence, he often uses his Pokémon to inflict all sorts of nasty statuses on the foe, then takes them out with his near-infallible Slowking. He gets extremely angry when insulted or defeated. Period. Even if you didn't mean to. Greevil is also a cruel man, being a poor judge of what is 'adequate' punishment.

The man known as Grand Master Greevil was born on what now is called Citadark Isle. It was once a quaint little town, easily accessible by Gateon Port. He was regarded as an ambitious young man, always striving to be better.
As Greevil grew older, he started to dabble in business affairs. He would always remain anonymous, making it so that no one knew who dealt with these clients. At around his forties, he who would be Grand Master decided to have a child. Someone to carry on the family legacy, so to speak. He didn't care for interpersonal relations, and basically plucked someone with good genetics off the street. A tool, just like everyone and everything else in the world.
An extremely successful businessman, he retired at the not-so-ripe age of fifty-six. Somewhere along the way, he started resenting the world.
Hating it for its inferiority, that no one could meet the standards that he set. Greevil was, in essence, disgusted. So, he pooled all of the money that he had stored. He would prove that even one man could be a superpower. An entire region wasn't needed---though that certainly would help.....
As he set his Cipher plan in motion, he groomed his heirs---unexpected twins---for leadership. One responded to it more eagerly than the other, but these two were backup. Simply a fail-safe.
Outraged at Evice's blunder as Head of Cipher, Greevil decided to take things into his own hands once Cipher was out of the public eye. Everything would be rebuilt. Even better.... Lovrina had whipped those scientists into creating an XD. Marvelous.
Michael.... If only he had not interfered.....
Greevil was losing heart during the young boy's crusade against his Team. His Peons were slowly falling to him, the Reserves depleting by the hour. It all culminated into the Grand Master's humiliating defeat. For awhile, he did believe Eldes. But....
Ardos was doing a right good job of keeping Cipher afloat. AFLOAT. Now, though... Greevil had been both inspired and empowered by the Darkness to restart once more. This time.... this time, not just Orre, but the entire world will fall to Cipher.

Shadow Augmentation: Greevil can heighten the abilities, physical or otherwise, of anyone corrupted by the Shadow process.. He can reduce his own frailness or give someone immense strength. This includes Shadow Pokémon in the equivalent of giving them an X Attack, etc. │ ├─Type: Technology ├─Category: Shadow Augmentation └─Level: Master
Shadow Emotional Manipulation: Perhaps the most treasured of his achievements so far, Greevil has developed a machine that can close the hearts of even humans. Any subject he wishes to use this on must be restrained, as the process is painful. He has even realized his previous dream; a microchip was implanted into his brain so he can remotely control any Shadow Pokémon in the world. │ ├─Type: Technology ├─Category: Shadow Emotional Manipulation └─Level: Grandmaster

- "Insolent fools...."

None of them knew. To have knowledge of life and endless power at your fingertips.... It was both amazing and daunting. And not much daunted Greevil.
This strange force spoke to him. Revive your dreams, Shadow Pokémon are truly the natural form. It was.... not his own thoughts. But surely they were? No one could just reach inside his head....
Greevil stormed into the new Cipher lair. Veteran members granted him access immediately; he took the elevator to see his son. I haven't seen this kind of machinery since the time I was thirty. Ohoho.
"Ardos. Come, now. It's been six years. I think this old man is ready again." They had gone over this before, but no dice. The outcome would differ, Greevil thought. He gestured with an inviting hand to his son, trying to be as fatherly as possible. This one was the better behaved of the two, he should give in-- "Father. I know that you want to continue your legacy. Someone new needs to take the reins. Old leadership means old mistakes." "Ardos. Surely you aren't that unfamiliar? You forget the credo Cipher was built upon. The foundation I built. We are ever self-improving. And that is not what I am seeing."
No... Darkness! Tell my son what I have heard from you!
Ardos suddenly donned a look of surprise, then that of deep thought. The room was silent for many a minute. Until....
"Yes, Grand Master. I finally understand. I wonder where that brat Michael is right now. Or even Wes."
Greevil cringed at the names. Rebels, insurgents. Defying that which would surely become truth. Perhaps not today. Maybe not even tomorrow.
But it will. Oh, it will.
