The scent of flowers filled the air as residents of Floaroma decorated the streets and storefronts with many different flower arrangements for the festival that was to take place there in the small and peaceful town. A cheerful buzz rang through the city as people continued on with getting floral wreathes and streamers hung.
Combee, Heracross and several other Bug-type Pokémon that found themselves attracted to the sweet scents wafting though the air could be found roaming near. Some of them even interacted with the Pokémon that Trainers had let out of their Poké Balls, alongside their Trainers as well!
Though the town was small and there weren't as many residents as in other parts of Sinnoh, the town was full of people bustling back and forth, visitors and inhabitants alike. Before too long, the Festival was under way. Floral booths were opened, Pokémon battles were had by the more lively Trainers visiting, and people of all ages seemed to be having fun in this festivity.
[This event is non-canon. That means you may post, no matter where your character is in the rest of PokéFiends. This event will end on May 31, 2012. There is no posting order, as the event is timed. Participants of this event will get a Jade and Pink Spinel Bellosom added to their PC post for them to remember the event by. Ferra walked down a small dirt road through the center of town, a long arrangement of floral decoration lining the stands and booths and houses that she passed. Her multi colored hair was free flowing down to waist in long waves. From one ear was a silver chain that hung in ear ring form to just above her shoulder, a sakura flower made of pink stone hanging at the end. On the opposite ear there was a sakura flower made of the same stone, but in stud form. She was wearing a white dress made of cotton that had a low cut back in a sharp V and a V-neck front. the material was see through cotton, like mist. Under it was a spiraling cascade of rainbow colors, like a rainbow flower opening up around her. The under lining fabric was cut to the images of the see through outer layer of cotton.
She had on flip flops, not really capitalizing on the beauty of the dress. It was flashy enough, no need for heels. A silver chain finished the look from around her neck. It was pretty in her perspective. She turned as she walked down the road, making sure her Leavanny was following her and hadn't gotten lost in the crazy crowd that was over taking this poor, tiny city.

The wind curved around the slim yet mighty shape of Salamence, its wings beating in a rhythmic pattern. The wind blowing from the speed blew strands of raven hair behind the back of a young trainer sitting on ithe Salamence's back. Karina had heard of this festival from her parents, and decided to come to Floaroma as a time to take a break from her travels. Below, she could see beautiful floral decorations and all the people mingling in the crowds. Some even had on fancy dresses or suits for the ocassioin. Looking down on her casual, even plain, attire, she shrugged, not really caring as long as it was comfortable. As Salamence got lower to the ground, Karina gave a three-sixty to find a landing spot for her dragon. Noticing an empty clearing near the edge of town, Karina veered Salamence over, but the dragon had different ideas. Catching the scent of flowers, Salamence turned over to the booth near the landing spot and rushed it, landing with a 'whump' and stuffing its face into the flowers on display. It gave a content snuffling and smacked its tail on the ground. Karina quickly got off and ran to the booth owner, who was cowering in fear.
"Oh, no, I'm really sorry! Salamence can be a bit hyperactive. I'll buy the flowers if you want!" Karina apologized, bowing slightly. The booth owner, a kind man, just smiled and said, "Oh no, today's a special day. Go on and take them. I've always liked Pokémon who love flowers."
Karina happily took the flowers for Salamence and then thought to let all her Pokémon out. She reached into her side bag and brough out four other PokeBalls. Throwing them into the air, she cried, "Come on out everyone!"
Bright flashes of light appeared and four Pokémon appeared. An Absol, Arcanine, Torterra and Fraxure. She smiled at each one and waved her hand, motioning them to follow her. "Let's go everyone, today's a special day."

Darach seemed a bit... out of place.
No, no, not a butler with flowers, that wasn't the problem; it was the Pokémon that was strolling about with him. A Houndoom, the epitome of the dark and grim... holding peonies and Gracideas alike. Now, Darach was a bit upset of late; Caitlin's arrival from Unova had been postponed, so his going to the Weather Festival for groceries had been useless. However, they had plenty of food, still, so it was okay.
Good flowers, on the other hand, were hard to come by. That was why he was making his rounds through the area. Houndoom, though brutal in appearance, was actually quite gifted with finesse and grace. It was an unlikely portrait, but what some might call 'cute' nonetheless.
A few flashes, unmistakably from opening Poké Balls, caught his peripheral vision as he walked away from a shop—leaving quite the generous tip, of course-- and he did an about-face. The Valet was in much better shape than he was at the Weather Festival; his suit, though a bit warm for the weather, was completely unstained by rain or otherwise. He bowed to the young girl that such a marvelous assortment of Pokémon belonged to.
"My, you've such a large repertoire. My name is Darach; ever pleased to make your acquaintance."

She had gotten so used to spending all of her time in the flower shop, that a flower festival was just sort of the natural progression of locations. Musashi had her hands folded together behind her back, long red hair fluttering as she reached up to press a wayward strand back behind her ear. She was relaxed in this locale, a soft inhalation as fragrance assailed her senses. She was quiet, strolling through the flowers, her solid white dress fluttering against her legs in the light breeze.
Things like this were just simpler than her day job. Less messy too, and gave her time to think without having to think. And she was a sucker for flowers. After returning, she enjoyed being around anything that reminded her of Kojiro. Not that she'd ever mention it to anyone. Or to him. Or to anyone they knew.
Zippers weren't closed as tightly as her mouth on this subject.

Karina was just about to head over to an interesting looking booth with dark, mysterious colored flowers when she heard the sound of footsteps coming towards her. Turning, she saw a man with a Houndoom out and about, and the strangest thing was that it had on a necklace of flowers. Hearing Darach's comment, Karina gave small smile in return to his compliment. She said, "Thank you, and your Houndoom looks quite handsome. I do happen to have quite a large selection of Pokémon don't I?"
Karina hadn't noticed it, but she did have quite a collection. She had some Pokémon from many regions. This new fact seemed to just dawn on her.

Laura look up at the clouds, the flowers tall enough to hide her from sight. mawile was taking a nap in her ball, so she had some quiet time. in fact....she's was more relaxed than she had been in a while. The breeze, the scent...yeah..this was perfect.
So she'd take na small catnap herself. the problem was....no one could see her. this meant while no one bugged her....they wouldn't see her until..they were literally on top of her.

Ferra hated crowds and called her Leavanny back into its Poké Ball. She needed to get out of this crowd before she snapped on someone who bumped into her. Weaving through the many people, she finally escaped the confines of the festivities and made her way into the public garden. It was absolutely beautiful. Ferra glided through the flowers, breathing in the beautiful air and watching the wild beautyfly dance through the air.
Suddenly, her foot caught on something. No. Someone, laying the flowers. Ferra fell forward and landed chest to chest with the person who had decided to take a small nap in the middle of a meadow. What the heck?!
"Oof! Hey! What do you think your doing??"

Well that as a wonderful nap she'd had. too bad it was interrupted by someone FALLING ON HER! "ow! hey what the heck do you mean what do i think I'M doing I'm just laying here enjoying the scenery! what do you think YOUR doing tripping over me like tha- wait..." she blinked a couple of times as she got a look at the person.
"haven't we met before?" She tried to remember their name, it was RIGHT on the tip of her tongue but she couldn't..quite...remember.

Ferra raised herself on her hands and knees, her hair a rainbow colored mess framing her face. "Who just lays in the middle of a fricken field! People walk here you kn- Oh my god it's you!"
Ferra stood up, shaking her hair back and extending her hand down to the person who she had once met a while back at another festival quite like this one. They'd left early to go and see the dandelions fly through a near by valley. What an amazing experience.

Laura laughed a bit, giving ferra some room and shrugging. "ok I admit I laid down just to relax but i kind of..fell asleep. Who knew it was so easy to sleep without a pillow?"
Laughing ab it more Laura grins. "so what have you been up to lately? See anything new since we last met? I know i have. Though..i haven't really gotten around to doing my actual trainer stuff sine dad keeps sending me on business stuff for him, the lazy bum."

Did Ferra ask for this chicks life story? She thought not! Ferra crossed her arms and shrugged, "I got to see the swablu fly across the ocean after a monsoon with a beautiful rainbow. It was amazing. This festival reminds me of it kind of.... just less water."
Ferra offered a hand, "Need help getting up?"

Laura took the offered hand, smiling. "hey at least you don't get water logged though right?" She looked around at the flowers, grinning a bit. "Wonder if we'll keep meeting like this. Er...without the whole tripping over the other person part."
