A mercenary group that orignates from the Unova Region, the actual roots of the communit remain unclear. What is known is that the boy known only to authorities as Atropos founded the organization some three years ago. The group is a mass of for-hire mecenaries, pickpockets, rogues, assassins and similar ilk. While not in truth evil, they are not above the notion.

The name of the group originates from the notion of the Greek Fates and that nothing is left up to chance. It could be said that Atropos wishes to take fate into his own hands, but this is unknown. Acording to legends, the Fates have the subtle but awesome power of deciding a man's destiny. They assign a man to good or evil. Their most obvious choice is choosing how long a man lives.

The members of the team, from commanders to lowest grunts, all take some kind of call sign from Greek mythology. What name they chose does not seem to reflect rank in full, but it is obvious that some names were reserved for higher officers than others.

It should be noted that the group operates in Unova as a whole, but their main base of operations is thought to be in Castelia City.

Atropos, Faeyt Laurel ---------- [Leader]
The current boss of Team Fated. Atropos is quiet, most of the time. Seeing as most people think him a kid due to his height, he plays the role of a shy trainer still new to Pokémon training. He is, without doubt, an actor ready to fill any role. Whether playing a role or not, he usually hides behind Asclepius and have the older man battle in his place. Atropos doesn’t battle with Pokémon unless backed into a corner. He’d sooner use his weapons to solve his problems. He also considers himself to be one to pull strings to make others dance to his will like puppets…only to later cut the strings and end their lives. He is fascinated with birds and flying creatures. Atropos believes everything and everyone should be given a chance to live and to prove themselves worthy of possessing life. If he finds them unworthy, he either attempts to assassinate them or orders Asclepius to attack.

Asclepius, Jack Raeblyk -------- [The Dark Angel]
Asclepius is quite difficult to read. He displays little to no emotion, and speaks in a monotone voice. Though always carrying one tune, his voice has a rich atmosphere that nurtures trust, strangely enough. If he spies someone injured or sick, he’ll calmly walk over and diagnose them, even going as far as to aide them. He always departs those he aides with one of his famed quotes: “Tempus est remedium. Mors est elit.” Even when battling with his Pokémon, Asclepius is calm, collected, and unphased. He stands straight, arms at his side and head held high as if standing at attention. He gives simple orders, if any, and shows no signs of satisfaction or displeasure when he wins or if he loses.

Zeus, Zenion Illiadin ---------- [Administrator]
To someone who has never met him, Zeus comes off as a smug, self-centered individual. He is full of himself and he is one of the largest, self-assured bastards in Team Fated itself, if not already the biggest. Zeus is the kind of person who will use you, abuse you and then throw you away when he's done without any regret. While he can be a gentleman, he is rarely that man for an extended amount of time. Generally, he will act suave to lead someone on and then once he's done teasing you he'll drop you. Outside of all of that, Zeus is loyal to those he considers his friends and allies (this can overlap with flirtation targets). If he believes someone is his ally, he will protect them when they are in need and he will support them should the need arise. He will obey orders from people he respects without being a jerk, because they have earned niceness from him. He appreciates people that are stronger than him only, though, and only people that have proven that earn his respect. Zeus does not usually take failure lightly, especially when it's his own.

Poseidon, Trenton Smith -------- [Administrator]
Had one met Poseidon under different circumstances, if he hadn’t forced himself to become a Mercenary, you would’ve thought he was just a normal kid. In fact, most of the time he is. He’s just a normal 18 year old, looking to have some fun, and to experience life. But mostly, his goal is to provide for his family, and make sure that they have everything taking care of, so that none of them have to do what he does. Because of this drive that he has, and the things he’s had to do, he’s willing to do just about anything if it’ll get him the money he was promised, or if it’ll make sure that his family is provided for. He may not like everything he does, and he may not necessarily want to do any of those things on a normal day, but when he’s doing a job, he puts away all of those emotions, and focuses on what he is supposed to do, not necessarily what is “morally” correct, but he’ll do what he has to. Outside of his Mercenary self though, he enjoys things like playing with his Pokémon, hanging out with Zeny, battling for fun, training his Pokémon, and just hanging out and having a good time. Just hope that you aren’t the subject of one of his jobs, because you don’t want to meet him then.

Aphrodite, Risa Ferra ---------- [Commander]
Ferra can be very snobby! She has an arrogant attitude that normally puts her in bad spirits with most people that she meets. Besides the fact that she has had a very pampered living, her friends and family act as if she is the child of the angels. Although she has a strong sense of respect for the natural beauty of nature, she finds that her high standard of living in three story houses and lofts in the city is very necessary. Ferra has a motherly side to her that only comes out on rare occasions. Sometimes, when she is trying to prove to someone how selfless she can be, she will show a very instinctual ability to care for those who are “beneath” her. She has a strong lack of respect for the maids and butlers at her family’s mansions and summer homes, but has had many flings with the occasional pool boy or chefs hand.

Deimos, Josef Totschläger ------ [Commander]
Arrogant and self-absorbed, Josef will only act in his own interests. The two most important things in his mind are payment and entertainment. Money has been known to take a back seat to entertainment value, however. Thanks to his skill set, training, and lack of scruples, Josef has little need for money; if he really needs something, he’ll just take it. He has been known to periodically accept jobs gratis simply because the enjoyment will outweigh any monetary rewards. He does not typically work for free, though, and if even the smallest fraction of his payment is missing or delayed he will not hesitate to burn his contractor(s) and everything they love to the ground. As likely to kill a target outright as he is to torture them for days on end, Josef is quick to give into his darker impulses so long as they don’t interfere with his plans. Unfortunately for those he’s expected to eliminate, his plans almost always include wiggle room for having just a little bit more fun.

Thanatos, Ashen Fabrel --------- [Lieutenant]
Contrast to his brother, Thanatos is serious and determined. He has none of his brother's airheadedness or ditzyness and all of the humor of a broom stick. Thanatos is clean cut and not one to deal with anything but business. He will take care of any task before him efficiently and smoothly. Any mistakes he makes he tries to fix, and he is man enough to admit that he can make mistakes. The sole exception to his attitude is the way he treats his brother, with nothing but love. But even Hypnos doesn't escape usually scolding every now and then. Like the rest of his family, his eyes change a deep blue when he is angered. A great many things will pit Thanatos's eyes into this color. Attempts to harm Hypnos reign high on this list, but Thanatos can be easily pissed off by a variety of things dependent on the situation. It's pretty easy to say that Thanatos is also very hot-headed. He has a temper that is relatively short (even with his brother) and he can be driven over the top by just about anyone. It doesn't take him that long to cool down afterwards, though.

Hypnos, Locke Fabrel ----------- [Grunt]
Sleepy and dazed are two words that come to mind when people speak of Hypnos. He seems to never have a worry or a care and often spends more time dozing under a pleasant tree or looking up to the clouds than he ever does battling Pokémon. This is not to say he can't battle, but more so that he prefers to take the more calm path. He takes his time doing things, too, generally forgetting what he was doing in the first place. When he is battling, however, the discipline attained from his family's code and training shines through. He's a decent hand at fighting (he's not the best by any means, mind) and he can hold his own well enough. When it comes to defending his contracted employer, he will also treat the job with a militant level of alertness. Sharing the emotion-tied eyes of his family, Hypnos's eyes have only been known by his family to change for two things. When someone attempts to harm his twin, Thanatos, whom he is incredibly reliant upon and attached to. The only other happenstance is when someone wakes him from a nightmare.

Pan, Kyle Abluko --------------- [Grunt]
Kyle’s out-going and optimistic: always able (or trying) to make the best of a situation. He would prefer to spend his time relaxing and staring up at a blue sky with his childhood friend. Kyle doesn’t much care for the city: preferring open fields of tall grass and sweet-smelling flowers. He also enjoys eating, though no matter how much he eats he never seems to be able to gain any weight. Kyle also doesn’t care about how much trouble he gets into, and will willingly take the blame for something if he knows it means trouble for one of his friends. He also has a knack for stealing without knowing or even meaning to, further getting him in trouble. Kyle is fond of Pokémon, and is quite appreciative of everything his Pokémon do…unless it leads to them getting hurt. He has a tendency to be a little motherly when someone gets hurt: scolding them before trying to make it better. He’d like to believe that there isn’t a mean bone in his body, but Kyle’s caught himself wishing harm on others a few times. He is exceptionally protective of his fellow Fated member: Hades.

[Status: Functional]
In Castelia, on Narrow Street, stands a quaint antique shop. The store truthfully is filled with legitimate relics... but given the location in Castelia City, very few ever venture down Narrow Street to seek out the treasures within. Above the shop are the residential apartments and condos that house Fated's members. To all, it honestly just looks like a residential building. But below the store, accessible only from hidden elevator that requires a card key, are the other facilities of the Fated Base. Training quarters, databases and archives and almost anything else the members might want for. Half of the facilities were financed by Zeus's own estate.
