Northern Waters

Welcome to the Nothern Waters, where the islands of Orange begin. The northern most reaches of Orange lay here, Among them are Tarroco, Hamlin and Rind Islands. Many Trainer's new to the Orange League begin their travels in these waters.

Rind Island

Laying north of the eastern waters, Rind Island is deserted. Schools of Magikarp and Gyarados make their home here, though, and many a Pokémon Watcher enjoy visiting. Because of its Gyarados population, not many other Pokémon make their home on Rind Island. [Rind Island has its own sub-forum.]

Rind River
A river that leads out into the ocean and goes through the whole island. Once a year, Magikarp from all over the Orange Islands come back here to their birth place and after stregnthening themselves up by swimming everywhere, try swimming upstream to the top of the river. They have to try to swim up currents and waterfalls to get to the top. The ones that do get to the top, swim around in the lake at the top until nighttime, then half of them evolve into Gyarados. Once the evolution process has ended, they swim back downstream and leave.

Tarroco Island

A smallish island in the northern waters. It is a large island that is strictly a "no-capture zone", meaning Pokémon cannot be captured around the area. A lot of its houses are similar in design to the ones on Mandarin Island South, but newer. Pods of wild Lapras dwell here, but they are protected by the local officers. [Tarroco Island has its own sub-forum.]

Tarroco Beach Forest
A beach well known to tourists who visit the island. The beach is well forested on its inner sides, though the ground and soil is mostly sandy, causing for a palm-tree forest to grow across the island.
