This is the February event thread that people can be RPing in for their Valentine's stuff. You can RP your characters pretty much anywhere you would like, though please make mention in bold or OOC where it is your're playing out your character. Preferably both the region and city/town name.
I'd like to remind everyone that people that are going to be entering this event thread are limited to three characters to be entering in the thread. Doesn't matter if they're canon, original or even Legendary (though, I would at least keep the Legendary appearances to an extreme minimum -.-).
Another reminder is that RPers that enter this event will be receiving a Red Crystal Luvdisc for their PCs.

Luvdisc watching: a favorite past time of even the youngest (and even eldest) couples. It is said that if two people see a pair of Luvdisc kiss, that they will be blessed with eternal happiness together. Once per year, on the fated Saint Valentine's Day, the locals of Hoenn hold an event dedicated to spotting those darling little fishes. Several submarines (docked at the base of the roaring, Ever Grande City's waterfall) are boarded by passengers, all eager to see the sea hearts.

Ever Grande City, Hoenn
The blue-haired ice master, a little older than when he first fell in love, waited around the docking station. His hair wasn't any shorter, but it was actually tamed for once and in a loose braid. To Avery's pride, though, he did have that strip of facial hair on his chin.
Every time someone tried to usher him onto one of the submarines, Avery would just raise a hand and wave them off. He was waiting to see if that invitation he sent out was accepted. Kichi, all primed and pretty, sat beside her trainer. She would whine on occasion, worried for the man. The only reason she didn't bark at him was because she was holding a long-stemmed rose (lavender in color) gently in her mouth.
"...He'll show up, Kichi; don't worry."

Ever Grande City, Hoenn
(Lolol, I should've known you'd leap at this Bori, on the 1st, no less. Inno exactly where this wouldbe timeline wise for Niko and Avery, seems like the haven't seen each other for awhile, but they bear no (or few) hard feelings towards one another?)[/color]
Nikolai leaned against the railing of the ship he was on and peered across the waters as the ship came into dock at Ever Grande's coast. He sighed as the crew bustled around, getting the vessle tethered and settled into its place before they dropped the gangway down to the dock below.
The blond glanced down to the paper in his hand. It was slightly wrinkled from the journey it had spent admist the mail, Nikolai's desk drawer and eventually his pocket, but it had held up alright, more or less. He gazed at the familiar scrawl that danced across the page. It was to the point and did not mince words or prattle on. It was an invitation.
One that Nikolai had accepted.
The former-Rocket mused as he stepped off the planks and onto the pavement of Ever Grande's smallish dock. To the north, large and challenging, lay the mountains of Hoenn's Victory Road. the flags of the League could just barely bee seen fluttering on the other side.
A soft nudge to his calf brought him back to attention and he glanced down to offer a faint ghosted smile at the Leafeon there. Glade wagged his foliage-tail and rubbed his ear against the man's pant leg. The Leafeon offered a half-smile, but could only do so mcuh around the white ribbon clamped securely in his own mouth.
Nikolai shook his head and continued towards the center of the city, glancing once more at the invitation to assure he was headed for the proposed meeting spot. Whether the man was there or not, whether or not Nikolai's unease at coming would be resolved would yet to be proven... and only this day would solve it.

Ever Grande City, Hoenn
((I didn't think of a time setting; but it's non-canon, so that could work out XD; Avery would have been true to his word and left Nikolai alone if he hadn't won his heart by the end of Sinnoh, so...))
As the minutes ticked away, Avery found that braid of his to be getting on his nerves. The tie at the end was soon snapped to his wrist and the winding locks unfurled. Thankfully, it had been loose enough that the waves weren't...too noticeable.
Kichi began to look around out of boredom, since her whines were being ignored. Soon enough, she caught sight of that familiar cream-and-green coat. For a moment, the Glaceon forgot about her trainer and the rose she had been holding for him (she insisted, since it made him look like he had been rejected already). She barked her name happily, but became aware that the rose was falling. Ducking down quickly, she caught the stem and sat on her hind legs.
Avery looked down at his Pokémon, whom was trying to give him the rose. He took it from her with a quizzical look before looking up in the way she took off. His heart stopped for a moment. "...He actually came."
Kichi padded over, oblivious to the other trainer. Glade was her target: a friend she hadn't seen in so long! ...And the only evolved Eevee that she liked. Once she got over to him, it was instantly to the snuggling! After all, she is an affectionate little thing...

Small City, Off The Map
Josh walked through the small, off-the-map town he'd found himself in, and during Valentine's Day no less. It seemed the holiday of love was a big hit among this small town, since a large(for the size of the place) festival was set up. All kinds of booths were set up, carnival games, and all kinds of other things lined the streets of the town's square.
Josh just cocked his eyebrow, and small smile on his face. He'd never been much for this holiday. Kind of found it depressing most of his life, since he'd never really had anyone special to share it with. He'd always just shrugged it off. Now, though, he honestly didn't feel that bad about it. He didnt' know what was different, but he just had a different outlook on it.
So, with that mindset in his head, he decided he was going to enjoy this festival. It was a shame Paige wasn't here. He could get a kick out of messing with her with some of the stuff here. Of course, her tongue had a little snap to it too, though, so maybe it was a good thing she wasn't there?
Nah. He always liked being around his friends, and she was his best friend. Well, except for Scep and Gardy, of course. Nobody could ever replace them. But, so far as his human friends went, she was the best he had. But, oh well, it was her loss, since he looked on at all the booths and things for sale with amusement. He even saw a kissing booth, with a girl somewhere abou this age that all the guys were lining up for.
He couldn't help but let out a bark of laughter at the sight. It was funny how they bickered over who would be first in line. It was then that Scep nudged Josh with an elbow and, eyebrows raised, pointed at the girl in the booth. Josh knew what Scep was getting at and, with his face turning red, he smacked the grasss-type in the head.
"Doofus," he said, his face feeling like it was on fire from the rush of blood,"I don't do that. You know I don't."
Gardy, on his other side, just let out a small Gardevoir's giggle.

Small City, Off The Map
Acacia simply adored this minor holiday. Chocolate treats, roses being slung around as gifts to young ladies...all of the marvelous wonders that she never gets to experience, due to her life style. Ah, being a Pokémon bandit is such a tedious task.
But Tank gave her the day off, since she had worked so hard the previous weeks. So many rich folk wanted the perfect Pokémon to gift their beloveds with. So, without a care in the world, Acacia was walking about this insignificant town. Naturally, Hocus was following behind her.
And then she saw it: the most beautiful of flowers she had ever seen. A lovely Gardevior, surrounded by red and pink and white roses (well, in Acacia's mind, anyway). She was being swept away with this holiday, that's for sure!
Dawning the best innocent face she could muster, Acacia rushed over to the Gardevior and trainer. "Such a beautiful Pokémon," she exclaimed as she clasped the Psychic's hands in her own. "Oh, you're such a lovely Psychic-type. Your trainer must be proud!"
Hocus, grudgingly still following her, shook his head with a sigh as he planted his forehead in his palm. She could be such a ridiculous woman.

Small City, Off The Map
Gardevoir was shocked, at the very least, when some strange woman just came up and clasped her hands together in her own, telling her how lovely a Pokémon she was. Gardevoir just gave a nervous smile and said telepathically,Th-thank you
Josh turned around as the woman came up and grabbed ahold of Gardy and crossed his arm, giving her a quizzical look. She had...unusually long hair, and wore a turtle neck with some kind of dress over it. She really did look like an odd character, that was for sure, but not harmless.
"Yeah, Gardy's amazing, isn't she?" he said to the girl with a small chuckle and a smile as he walked over to stand beside Gardevoir.

Acacia blinked a few times as Josh came into her line of sight. Oh...so the trainer was actually close by. Well, then.
"Are you her trainer?" Feigning innocence: a typical card she played. "W-well, you sure did a great job raising her! Psychic Pokémon are my favorite, you see."
Acacia released Gardy's hands as she fished out the capsule her Gallade was in. With a flash and a sparkle, the Psychic-Fighting Pokémon was released. He struck a pose as he was set free, just before calming down and standing at attention.
Gallade looked over Gardy, Josh, and Scep. They didn't seem like a very impressive group...why was he being brought out before them? Was this training he was to be put through? "I have a Gallade, you see, so it was really something to see a Gardevoir in the same town."

Ever Grande City, Hoenn
(Magical merging powers are go.)
Nikolai stopped short on another step as he glanced down at the Glaceon sliding up against Glade. Glade let out a chirp of his name and pressed his forehead against Kichi to snuggle into her fine-haired coat, his tail swaying in happiness. "Leaf~leafeon~," he cooed.
Nikolai then turned his gaze back up and cast a cursory glance across the crowed. Then he spotted a ever familiar mess of blue hair. Or well, at least said blunette seemed to have tamed his hair today.
Lips remaining entirely neutral, Nikolai took a hesitant step forward, though, still, that one step was all it took. He continued on his way towards the other man. He paused an arms width from Avery and pretty much froze. So. He was here... what now?

Small City, Off The Map
Paige broke away from the latest kiss with a broad grin and a completely out of character wink. She giggled and tossed her hair over her shawl-clad shoulder as she waved to the boy that had stolen the umpteenth kiss from her this day. Then, the next boy stepped forward eagerly, aiming to take the next one.
Or well. Paige wasn't doing any of the kissing. It had been Dots' idea, really. The Ditto had picked up some of Scep's sense of humor in all their travels with Josh, and had somehow managed to set up this prank with Paige's help. Jabon sat in the chair, and Dots had morphed carefully and with great skill, to make the pair look like a replica of Paige herself.
The real girl sat under the table of the booth, musing to herself and counting the boys that were fool enough to kiss ad strange Magmar-Ditto pair.

Kichi continued to snuggle against the Leafeon, purring all the while. "Glaaa~ceon," she mewled before giving him a playful lick against the cheek.
Avery smiled as he looked over to the two Eevee-lutions. It was good to see Kichi getting along with an evolved Eevee. But when Nikolai was just an arm's-length away from him, emotions began to collide.
"Nikolai..." Avery swallowed. "It's really good to see you again. I, uh," he paused to step closer experimentally. Avery tucked a lock of hair behind his ear out of nervous habit. "I missed you, Niko. I never thought Snowpoint City could be so cold." The blue-haired man stopped to laugh nervously before extending the hand with the rose in it. "This is for you."

"I swear Sable... you and Chocolate."
"Saaaab..."
A tall woman with black hair and a gown was walking around with a talking Sneasel and a Sableye who was examining the chocolates like appraising gems. The Sneasel had a pretty collar on as her claws were crossed, walking around with her trainer. Sable just wandered around at all the decorations and appraised the place like she owned it.
The woman was in a black gown, almost Gothic with her lavender eyes appraising the area. She wasn't meeting anyone in particular, but events such as this often brought the most interesting of people... and she wanted to check the competition.
"Roses are so overdone..."
"Meh... I never paid attention to flowers much. Food and shiny things? Oh yeah, baby!"
Sable scoffed at Sneasel as she looked at a chocolate truffle before partaking of it. She may have been part ghost Pokémon, but chocolate had endorphins in it which also stimulated emotion. Festivals such as this were perfect for her picky taste.

Ecruteak City, Johto
"Mnnnn... Trépas... I don't think I can do this today.... I know it's something I've always looked forward to, but I can't shake how nervous I feel!" Jaydin said, clutching the small box of chocolates to her. Her face was bright red and her mouth was curved into a crooked frown as she stood there with the blue-eyed Gengar.
"Gengar! Gen gen gaaaar, gen ga gen gar!" Trépas replied, angrily waving his arms around in the air. He never did care for the person that Jaydin was wanting to give those chocolates to. Though, is support of his human, he hoved over behind her and placed his small hands against her back, pushing her in the direction of the Ecruteak Gym.
"G-gah! Trépas, stop it, that's not funny, I really don't think I can do this!" Jaydin shouted, ignoring the strange looks from couples that she was getting from the people she was slowly being pushed past.
With protests being ignored and still being pushed towards the Gym of Ecruteak City, Jaydin soon found herself at the bottom of the stairs that were there that led up to the Gym. Her brow furrowed in an uncertain fashion and Jaydin clutched the box a little more tightly before slowly making her way up the stairs with Trépas following along after her, making sure she got all the way up.
Swallowing as she beheld the Gym that loomed above her as soon as she got to the top of the stairs, Jaydin swallowed and then slowly trudged over to the door that was there. Raising her hand and looking around, Jaydin rapped her fist against the door. Perhaps not a good thing to be doing, considering that Gyms were public and she could actually be going in to the Gym without having to knock.
"Man... what am I going to do, what am I going to do...?" Jaydin murmured to herself, waiting patiently at the door for it to be sliding open at any moment.

Cody walked through the small city, off the map. All his Pokémon were walking behind him, and they looked like a walking circus. Axel and Turkey were walking close together, and Cody noticed. "Hey you guys, it may not be Valentine's Day yet, but we're still going to go watch the Luvdisc in the sea, so I think you guys can wait for a minute." Cody winked, and they blushed, moving away from each other.
"We're here!" The got in the submarine and sat down, and the Luvdisc were swimming around, turning the sea a light shade of rouge as it seemed. Axel and Turkey sat next to each other, and they suddenly spotted two Luvdiscs Kissing. They blushed and leaned into each other, heads together.
They looked at each other, and suddenly, eyes closed, kissing. A loud aww could be heard behind them, and Will started dancing, Ryan crossed him arms and looked approvingly, Kai shook his head and smiled, and Seek was swirling upwards in a graceful manner. Cody smiled. "I knew this was going to happen."

Ever Grande City, Hoenn
Nikolai rose an eyebrow at the rose and reached forward hesitantly to accept it. He closed his fingers around the stem, between the thorns, and lifted the blossom from Avery's hold. He blinked at the color: lavender... he mused.
His mother had always been a big fan of gardens and flowers in general, but, for the life of him, he couldn't recall the meaning of that color rose. He knew red meant "I love you," white generally meant reverence and yellow was something along the lines of friendship and best friends. But what did lavender mean? He shook his head slightly and the turned his gaze back up to Avery.
"Thank you," was the simple reply. But Nikolai did everything he could to keep the icy tone so normally found in his words out of them for today. "And... it snows in Snowpoint, of course it's cold there."
Glade shivered with happiness and brushed his own nose softly with Kichi's before he turned his attention to Nikolai and let out a yip around the ribbon in his mouth. He steped forward to Avery and help the fabric up to the blunette, yipping once more.
"..Oh. ...The ribbon. It's for Kichi," Nikolai said... slightly... embarrassed.

Ever Grande City, Hoenn?
(XD I'm not sure if you're putting Cody in Ever Grande or not, Poseidon, because you say off-the-map but also has him Luvdisc watching (which Bori set in Ever Grande), so that being the case, I'll assume neither for safety and just play~.)
Tyler shifted where he sat on the bench in the submarine. The sketchpad on his lap lay open and if one peered closely, they could see a nearly finished sketch of two Luvdisc sharing a kiss on the page. Infact, the whole page was littered with sketches of the heart-shaped Pokémon.
But something else, other than the rare chance to see the Luvdisc, had caught the lavender-haired boy's attention. He turned towards the Buizel and the Sneasel and smiled at the sight of the two Pokémon before flipping his page carefully. Normally, he would ask before beginning to sketch, but the moment was too swift that he might lose the chance if he did.
So, without a second to spare, he set pencil to paper and began to sketch out the two Pokémon on the next bench over.
