Be wary, a darkness lurks in the night, a sinister creature haunts the edges of the moonlight. Turmoil brews, traveler, so take your first step with caution.

News

Four months ago, terror held the world in stand still. The attacks on both Saffron and Castelia have concluded... and despite the growing darkness, the people of the world band together to throw an event in the spirit of world unity and the courage to stand against this new foe.

Climate

The season is currently Spring. There winter snows have thawed and new growth springs up across the world. Periodically, chill remains in the air, but never for long does it hang about.

Okay, so. Since we have people wanting Orre to be up, here's what has to be done first.

Location Guides.

To put it simply, the Location guides for all existing forums have to be made before we can make any of the new Regions (Almia, Sevii, Orange and Orre.)

YOU CAN HELP ME with this. Here's how it works. Take, for example, the next one in line. Azalea Town. You would make it look like the other Guides, with sections on all the areas of interest, which ones are in town, which ones aren't, and each place with wild Pokémon would have the animated .gifs. You can use the write ups from Bulbapedia if you wish, and add tidbits if you want. So long as they're similar in length to other Guides.

For Pokémon, you check against game data. ALL game data. Meaning if a Region has multiple games, and a Pokémon appeared there in one game, but not another, it still counts. Also, you add in the unevolved forms if only the evolved form is present. So if there's only Fearow, you add in Spearow.

The code for the gifs:
Code:

[IMG]http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/xx333/PokeFiends/PokeIcons/000.gif[/IMG]

The 000 reflects the Pokémons National Dex number, with 001 being Bulbasaur and so forth.

If you feel like helping, post em here, though tell me which you're working on so someone does do the same one as you. Hell. If people just want to compile the .gifs for me for each area and post them here, that would be a tremendous help in and of itself.

Goldenrod City

Welcome to Goldenrod City, the Festive City of Opulent Charm! Goldenrod City is a sprawling metropolis located in western Johto. It is the largest city in the region, rivaling Saffron City, the largest city in Kanto, and is Saffron's "sister city" in many ways, and size. Goldenrod is the center of the region's economy and telecommunications. Major attractions for Trainers include the Johto Radio Tower, the city's Department Store, Game Corner, the Magnet Train, and the Gym.

Locations In Town

Goldenrod Gym
Pokémon Trainers often come to Goldenrod City in order to win the Plain Badge from Whitney, the Goldenrod Gym Leader, who specializes in Normal-type Pokémon. The Gym is very basic, but filled with pretty, pink flowers and ornaments. The Gym is shaped like a Clefairy - Whitney's favourite Pokémon. [Goldenrod Gym has its own sub-forum]

Goldenrod Department Store
The Goldenrod Department Store, located in the city center, claims to have a full selection of Pokémon Goods for Trainers. Though the store does not carry vital items such as Hyper Potions, Full Restores, or Ultra Balls, it does back up its claim by boasting the widest selection of specialty items in Johto. The store is composed of nine levels, including two basements and six shopping floors. The uppermost floor features a rooftop square, complete with binoculars to view locations off in the distance. [Goldenrod Department Store has its own sub-forum]

Goldenrod Game Corner
Johto's installment of the Game Corner is located in Goldenrod across the main north-south road from the department store. The parlor features slot machines among other varieties of games, such as Card Flip. [Goldenrod Game Corner has its own sub-forum]

Johto Radio Tower
The Johto Radio Tower is a five-story tower located next to the Magnet Train station in downtown Goldenrod City, the largest city in Johto. The radio tower broadcasts numerous programs daily, the most prominent of such being Professor Oak's Pokémon Talk. [Johto Radio Tower has its own sub-forum]

Magnet Train, Johto Station
The Magnet Train is found in Johto and Kanto. It runs between Goldenrod City and Saffron City twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. It allows rapid travel between the two cities, going at over 340 miles per hour! [Magnet Train, Johto Station has its own sub-forum]

Locations Around Town

National Park
A small park north of Goldenrod City. The Bug-Catching Contest is held here three times a week, and the Trainer that catches the largest Bug-type is the winner! Many rare Bug-types can be found in this park, such as Pinsir and Scyther.

Route 35
Route 35 lies just north of Goldenrod City, leading straight from there to Johto's famous National Park, home of the Bug Catching Contest. However, not all of the rare bugs are within the park, and the grass in the northeastern portion of the route is home to wild Yanma.

The Underground Path
The Underground Path is a shopping district stretching below Goldenrod City. This path contains a barber shop, herb shop, and a shop selling items which are simply for show such as Nuggets; however, the shops that are open at any given time depend on the day. Trainers also litter this path, and there is an entrance to the basement of the Goldenrod Department Store.
