Aeon [Male Conkeldur]: He was obtained in the in the facility she was first held captive in. He was being used for genetic experiments, where they attempted to inject other fighting type DNA in an attempt to increase his power. Most of them failed, but with minimal draw backs. She trained against him often. His attitude is one of loyalty, and when pitted against an opponent, blood lust may take over. Ability: Sheer Force Move Pool: Stone Edge, Super Power, Hammer Arm, Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, Fire Punch, Poison Jab, Earthquake, Protect Kizuato [Female Alakazam]: Many labs later, she began experiencing many... out of body experiences. This was due to a Kadabra looking for someone to help end its torture. Team Plasma scientists were attempting search through it surgically on a bi-weekly basis in order to find the origins of its psychic powers. That was when she decided it was the last straw. She stole it on her way out the door, when she escaped for the first time. It has many scars upon it's body in evidence of this fact. Like its trainer, it is very calm and doesn't reveal its feelings very much. Ability: Magic Guard Move Pool: Future Sight, Psychic, Recover, Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Substitute, Double Team, Charge Beam, Focus Blast Flyte [Male Braviary]: After she got out, she encountered a hurt Rufflet on the way in between towns. It was injured so badly, it couldn't move or defend itself in any way, so she scooped it up and took it with her. It is, however, very bold and doesn't afraid of anything. Ability: Defiant Move Pool: Brave Bird, Superpower, Thrash, Crush Claw, Aerial ace, Shadow Claw, U-turn, Rock Slide, Fly, Hone Claws

She stands 5'6", with long flowing red hair and piercing black eyes. She has no blemishes upon her entire self. Her legs and arms are robotic, being smooth and mechanically sleek. She also has a futuristic looking display shades with a built in Pokédex, fully completed. It also displays combat patterns, records them, and suggests ways to counter them, obtained from her time in the Plasma laboratory.
The clothes she usually wears are a pair of orange jeans, and a red long sleeve t-shirt. This is in order to hide the cyborg parts she has. She is always seen with the sides of her display shades, whether they be in front of her eyes or lodged on her head.

Artwork by unknown.

- "Every wire they attached... every piece of flesh they ripped off... I just sat there through the excruciating pain. Every moment I sat on that bed; I became less and less aware of the pain coming from my legs and my arms. And then it was over. Until the next day. And then again. And again. Until I had just about lost all sanity. Did I mention they did each limb separately? They didn't just chop them all off. They made it last. Of course... its probably the reason I'm alive. But I think about it... and I just..."

Ares is mostly stoic. She rarely reveals her feelings or intentions to anyone unless absolutely necessary. This does not mean that she is emotionless. If fact, due to some of the experiments performed upon her, her amygdala started acting up. Now, whenever she feels an emotion, she feels it about ten times more intensely than normal.
This also affects her memories, although not as severely/often. She sometimes remembers something incorrectly, or can remember a specific scene with so much detail it could make you cry. It varies between not remembering it at all, and remembering it too well. Which gives you just about everything in the spectrum except short term.
She picks her fights carefully usually. She has this cold, calculating gaze that she allows no one to penetrate. When she fights, she usually uses hand to hand combat. Being a cyborg, you can probably imagine the amount of pain one of her kicks or punches would inflict would be devastating. It is.

- "Just give up. You can't possibly be more devoted than I am."

At the age of three, she was put up for adoption. Both of her parents had become very poor and could not support her. She had no siblings, and so was taken to the nearest orphanage. A few months later, a man stopped by. The orphans were lined up. He pointed to her, saying "She looks like a strong one. I'll take her." She was filled with joy... that is, until they arrived at their destination.
When she first saw the sign saying "Plasma Laboratories" her curiosity was piqued. She walked in with the man, smiling up at him, he smiling in return. Then they got to the table. He sat her down, telling to stay there while he went somewhere. He left and never came back. Instead, a little while after, a couple of men came in and hooked her up to various devices. That was the beginning of her torture. That was the day they cut off her limbs.
She spent quite a lot of time sitting on that bed. Every time someone came in the room, she would sit there, quietly, oh so quietly. It hurt less that way. She became immune to the pain coming from these sections. When her new limbs were finally finished, they took her to another room with a Timbur in it. She was told to fight it. She didn't know the first thing about fighting, but she learned awfully quick. The limbs were extremely heavy to lift, and would go so slow that the Timbur had no trouble dodging or countering. As it did this, it looked somber.
Every day they operated on her arms and legs, just a little, to fix little bugs and glitches. And then she was off to the combat room, as they liked to call it. Always against that same Timbur. Eventually, she "Evolved" in her own way, so to speak. She was getting really tired of losing, so she asked for a punching bag in her room, which they happily supplied her. She constantly practiced, and eventually, she got the upper hand on it. After she beat it, it kinda smiled with the look of a proud parent.
When she was to move labs, she asked to have the Timbur moved with her to continue sparring with him. Given the fact that she didn't really ever leave that room except for sparring, eventually it ended up being something she looked forward to. It helped to get her mind off of things. She continued on this way, and time after time she was experimented on and given many upgrades, and larger legs and arms as she grew. Eventually, they gave her the Timbur, now evolved into Gurdurr, to keep as her own Pokémon, as they no longer had any use for it.
As she continued swapping labs and one day, she was visited by a different scientist. Well, maybe not visited so much as observed. It was a tall, slim man, with astonishingly bright blonde hair, with strange blue streak that came out and around. Eventually, he spoke to her through the glass. "You're developing well. Much better than the others, I would say." He waited for some sort of response, if any. She had none. "More promising than I had hoped. By the way, my name is Colress. I have a feeling we may not see each other again, but regardless of that, I appreciate all you've helped us achieve." With that, he walked away. She would not see him again. The next day, she would escape.

The day she escaped, she ran. She just kept running. And running. Soon, she began to tire. She had Aeon carry her for awhile while she caught her breath. Despite having bionic limbs that do some of their own work, she still uses up much of her energy. Work is still work, after all. Where was she running, exactly? She didn't know. As far as she needed to get away, to finally be free of that horrid place. Everyday was a new little piece of hell to go through. So, any distance that could be considered safe was far enough for her.
They ran through several towns, picking up an injured rufflet as some point, and when she stopped she ended up in Castelia City. She wandered the city streets for a little while, trying to find a Pokémon center to heal the rufflet at. After staying the night, she wandered the streets yet again. In due time, she simply sat down within one of the dirty alcoves among all the people. The footsteps of the people passing by held her attention until they, too, became monotonous and indistinct. That is, until another pair stopped in front of her. Another 2, actually.
She looked up. There stood a boy and a man, the boy seeming to be in his teen years. "What do you want?" He merely stood there and nodded at Asclepius. The man moved forward and offered his hand to her. "Come, walk with us." Shelinda sat there for several moments. "How do I know you aren't one of plasma's goons?" He shook his head. "No need to worry about that. I'll drive them away myself if I have to. Just come with us." He stretched his hand out just a little bit further. She hesitated a moment longer, then grabbed it.
They began walking slowly down the alleyways of Castelia city, deeper and deeper into the maze of buildings. "Who are you? What do you want with me?" She asked warily. Asclepius turned his head towards her, still walking. "We are the only people you can consider allies at this point, and we want you to join us." He stopped at a run down looking shop, opened the door, and headed inside. "What do you mean, join you?" He remained silent, approaching a door in the back, heading through. She followed. He walked up to a wall, inserted a keycard, an elevator appeared, and he motioned her inside. She slowly walked inside, and the doors shut.
"We'd like you to join Team Fated. Here, you can control your own fate, alongside others who wish to do the same." The elevator stopped, and the door opened, leading out to an array of hallways, which she was taken down. As that happened, several people began to come towards the main hallway from all different directions, and began eyeing her. "So, are you going to join us, or no?" She thought over it for a moment. "I will." He remained stoic. "Your code-name is Ares. Welcome to the team." He nodded, then walked away.
