Posts: 2 Group: Hufflepuff Member #424 Joined: April 22, 2008	;; first the Basics Name of Character: Jade Annabell Robinson Nicknames: Sex of Character: Female Age of Character: 16 Date of Birth: 28th April 2002 Year: 6th Blood Status: half-blood ;; add the Looks Eye Color: Blue Hair Color and Length: Long blonde hair Height: 5'6 Weight: 116lbs Character's Wand Type: Unicorn tail hair, ash, 12 inches Character's Broom Type: N/A Character's Pet: A tawny owl named Nali Appearance: Jade has a very typical girl next door kind of look to her. She has a heart shaped face with hazel eyes and straight blonde hair that grazes her shoulders. She has a small straight nose and small yet plump lips. Jade’s skin is very fair and she burns very easily if she is under the sun for too long. Jade has a rather athletic body so she is skinny yet not to the point where her bones stick out. Jade is neither a tomboy nor girly girl though she likes to wear clothes that would be considered fashionable. Jade does strive to look nice and hates being referred to as cute. Jade will usually wear a bit of make-up but nothing too over the top as she finds it can be suffocating and looks too fake. ;; and the Style Character's Boggart: Bat Character's Patronus: Lemur Three Fears: Bats, flying & failure Three Interests: Fashion, astronomy & the piano Three Goals: Graduating well, write a symphony & travel overseas Personality: Jade is very grounded and has a certain idea of where she would like to head in life. She studies hard and would love to graduate high so she can choose whatever may take to her fancy. She likes to have choices so she will not be restricted in her profession. Jade is rather intelligent and doesn’t mind showing this in class by raising her hand almost eagerly yet she does not boast her intelligence. A lot of people don’t actually know quite how intelligent she is because she talks about fashion quite a lot and will tend to judge a person on how they look. Jade can be a bit superficial and come across as uncaring in a few aspects of life. Jade’s favourite instrument is the piano, she has been playing it since she was six years of age and adores it. If something is stressing Jade out she will usually unwind by playing the piano. Most of the tunes she plays and relaxing and pleasant although she has been known to belt out a more upbeat tune on occasion. Bats are the one animal Jade cannot stand. She fears them most of all and whenever she sees one she will scream and run for cover. Halloween is never a great time for her because fake bats are usually hung up all around the place and she can usually be found hyperventilating if around them for too long. She knows they are fake but it is just the thought of them that make her cringe. Another of Jade’s fears is flying ever since she fell off the broom during her first flying lesson. She only twisted her ankle yet she hates the feeling of falling and can not be convinced by anyone to even try getting back on a broom. Jade is rather superstitous and believes in the zodiac signs and the representation of personalities and what the future may hold for people based on their zodiac time. Jade used to obsess over the zodiac but recently has calmed down and will only heed what she deems important. ;; now the Past Father's Name: Benjamin Kane Robinson Mother's Name: Latisha Jane Robinson (Peters) Sibling(s) Name(s): N/A History: Jade is the only child of Benjamin and Latisha Robinson. The couple had never planned on having any children but even so they believe that Jade was a blessing and spoiled her. The first few years were interesting to say the least as Jade’s parents tried to figure out whether Jade was a witch like her mother or a muggle like her father. Finally on her third birthday their questions were answered when she accidentally lit a picture on fire after stealing her mother’s wand. Jade had an intermingled upbringing, the fact that she was magical was never kept from her yet she grew up in a muggle community. There were often times when Jade got rather lonely with no siblings to play with so her parents brought her an owl so she could have some company and also so she could write letters to her parents when she attended Hogwarts. Jade knew all about Hogwarts before she started there so she was quite confident when she started which helped her gain a few friends along the way and she enjoyed many of the classes especially astronomy. Jade did fairly well in all her classes and studied hard to pass all her O.W.L.S.
