So this was the new place people seemed to be raving about, and the place where she was working. He had been wondering about Emily for a while now, he hadn't seen her since... well he really couldn't think of the last time, Christmas maybe? She helped him pick out a present for Ginny. He'd been working in the shop trying to perfect a new product, he was so close there was something missing though. Something he was quite sure he was going to have to go through ome shifty business to get. Of course George was used to that, what god was a product if there wass something exceptionally fun to get to make it just that much more perfect. That was when the owl flew into his room. It was from Emily, apparently she had gotten a job as a cook at this place and wanted to meet him after his shift. Sounded good, he needed a break and he actually looked forward to seeing her. She wa always a good friend when they were at Hogwart and needless to say she covered for he and Fred many atimes. Which was what led him now to the Hidden Blade. He ordered a Firewhiskey from the bar and then found a table to sit at. He was actually late, but what else is new of George, but she still wasn;t out. |

Emily was rushing in the kitchen, she had just finished her shift yet someone had done a marvellous job of spilling their food all over the kitchen floor and Emily had been left to clean up because apparantly they had an appointment and had ran off before Emily could even say a word. Of course Emily could use magic but she had her wand in her jacket which was in one of the other rooms so as not to get dirty. Throwing the rag in the bin Emily quickly removed her apron and walked into the room where her jacket was. She brushed some flour off her top and pulled her jacket on. She let her hair down and fluffed it up a bit. Emily wasn't sure why but now whenever she went to meet George she wanted to look good for him, it hadn't been like this in school, she had just met him however she was, but now...maybe it was just because they were older? Yeah that must be it right? Either way Emily flipped her hair behind her shoulder and walked out to the main part of the Hidden Blade and easily found George, she knew that flaming red hair anywhere. She walked up behind him silently and said boo loudly. Yep never a dull entrance with Emily around. |

Luckily for George, his drink was down and he had just swallowed what wa in his mouth when someone came up beind him. He knew who it was the minute she spoke. George was never one to scare easily, so he pretended to jump and grin, she wasn't going to fall for it and he knew but hey he gave her credit for no boring entrance. He looked back at her with his famous Weasley grin, "Getting better, your sneak -ups need a little work." he teased |

Emily smiled she knew that she couldn't do that to George she really shouldn't bother trying anymore but it was always fun. "You got me...again," said Emily with a smile as she took a seat across from George. "Well maybe you should give me some lessons on sneaking up then," she said brightly as she ordered a butterbeer. "So what have you and Fred been up to lately?" she asked. Emily was always eager to hear what new products they had come up with and she reminded herself to go visit their joke shop again soon. |

George smirked, "Well now that you know I can't discuss, if I told you how would I ever be able to have you grace me with your presence in the shop." This was true, he would not deny that she could make his day when she came into the shop. "What have you been up to? Besides trying to improve on those sneaking skills of yours." he teased, "Oh I forgot!" He pulled a bouquet of brightly coloured cornations, and handed them to Emily, "Congratulations on your new job!" |

Emily pouted "Come on, you know I would visit your shop anyway," she said. It was true as much as she enjoyed the shop, George was still her best friend and she would make an excuse to go see him if possible. Emily took a sip of butterbeer with a smile as he asked what she was up to. Emily got ready to reply when suddenly George pulled out a bouquet of flowers and Emily did her best not to scream out of surprise and joy. They were of course her favourite type of flowers "Thank-you! George they're beautiful," she said brightly. |

George smiled brightly, thank goodness Ginny was around when he needed her. Honestly it amazed him how his little sister, the one who used to run an hide at the sight of Harry Potter now was able to help him out when he needed it. George had tried to think of something to get for Emily, and well normally for him a bag of licorice wands seemed good, though flowers seemed to get a better response. "Well you deserve it, you've really done well." he said looking at her, they had come a long way George thought since he had left Hogwarts. Emily was his best friend, but something just seemed different. |

Emily smiled as she placed the flower down on the table careful to not crush any of them. She gave George a bright smile "Thank-you, although I really haven't done anything except get a job," she said. Emily wondered how George knew her favourite flower, she couldn't recall whether or not they had discussed their favourite flower varieties. It didn't really seem like something they would talk about considering. Oh well she wasn't going to complain, maybe some thing were best left as they were. "I will have to come by your shop this week now that you've come here," said Emily with a laugh. She loved going to the twins shop it was great and there was always the guarantee of seeing George which was always something to look forward to. |

"well I have absolutly no objection to that, actually I believe it is a requirement set down by the Ministry of Magic" he said in a pompous tone, "Only you can do this task." he laughed. "But seriously, we've got a new shipment in, lots of stuff for our womans collection. Girls seem to buy us out within a week. Poor lads who are their victims." he grinned, "So what have you been up to lately?" he said focussing his attention on Emily. |

Emily laughed at George's pompus tone, she had heard it many a time, usually whenever Percy entered the room especially. "Well I certainly can't defy the Ministry of Magic then so it looks like I'll be at your shop in less then a week," said Emily trying to keep a straight face. Emily smiled remembering a lot of the womans products that she had seen when she had first entered the twins store. It really did involve some highly advanced magic and Emily had been very impressed. "I haven't been up to much lately with my new job and all. I'm working quite a few days but I can't complain I mean the pay is good and I love it here. How about yourself?" asked Emily curiously. |
