She has sharp features - her nose, her chin - that immediately distunguish her as a force to be reckoned with. Her eyebrows are arched well above her eyes, which gives the impression that is always scrutinizing the people around her and is never satisfied with what she sees. Charlotte's eyes are almond-shaped and brown, but are considered somewhat intense. They are set more widely apart from the bridge of her nose than she would like, but she doesn't worry about it much. She is a tall woman, standing at about 5' 9", and well-proportioned. Her hair is best described as a light brown color, naturally, but she does dye it fairly often. She keeps it cut fairly short, so it's never in her way. Charlotte was never one to care much about personal beauty. For her, it was much more about looking professional. Charlotte dresses in plain witch's robes that she has fitted so they are not hanging off her and looking like she bought them at a secondhand store. Her Ministry robes are plain black with the Department of Law Enforcement emblem embroidered on the right chest. She has a set of Wizengamot robes for her days in court, and plain black robes for everyday use. Her one set of dress robes are amber, and she hardly ever wears them. When she's not in robes he tends to wear plain but good-looking clothes. Other than her clothes, Charlotte wears a single necklace that she keeps tucked under her robes. It is a silver chain with a ring on it - the ring belonged to her brother. Personality: Charlotte likes simplicity, pattern, structure, consistency and organization. She keeps everything from her wardrobe to her workplace neat and tidy. She hates when things are out of order, whether it be reports or people. If people cannot work together efficiently enough to get a job done, then they should consider a change in profession. Charlotte's biggest fear is pure chaos. A wold in which there was no order, or structure, and people went around cheating and hurting each other. She can most closely equate this to a world in which Voldemort ruled. There would be no true government, just a tyrant and his bloodthirsty Death Eaters unleashed on the rest of civilization. That did not sit well with Charlotte. Charlotte is straightforward and authoratative. It someone does something she doesn't agree with, she has no problem voicing her opinion on the matter, however she does know when to keep her mouth shut. She does not make rash decisions; she has an even temper. Yes, she gets mad, and in a fight she will give it everything she's got, but as far as dealing with other people is concerned, Charlotte has a very good temper. Charlotte is a good leader, albeit strict. For all her harsh and commanding manner, however, she tries to be very fair and objective when it comes to making decisions. Although she is a hard person, Charlotte does have a warm side. Her harsh demeanor is usually saved for work. With friends and family she becomes much more at ease, and is a much more normal person. And as surprising as it might sound, Charlotte does like to go out and have a good time. She is fairly outgoing - at least, being around many other people does not bother her. She has good social manners, she can appear comfortable in most situations and she is good at putting others at ease. History: Charlotte grew up in London with her pureblood wizarding parents. Her father was an Obliviator and her mother worked as an Unspeakable. Amanda Edelstein and Aaron Rhinehart met as Ministry employees, eventually got married and had their first son, Alec. A few years later, Charlotte was born, and they were a typical wizarding family. Alec received his Hogwarts letter and was sorted into Gryffindor, followed by Charlotte, who was sorted into Ravenclaw. Alec graduated when Charlotte was finishing her fourth year at Hogwarts. He went on to become an Auror, and joined a new group called the Order of the Phoenix. He went out on all sorts of dangerous assignments, always fighting Death Eaters in an effort to defeat Voldemort. Charlotte admired her older brother and his bravery. He had always been her protector and her friend. When he was killed by a Death Eater in Charlotte's seventh year, it brought her around to reality. She learned that she would have to work hard to learn to defend herself, and that she could not depend on sheer bravery to pull her through. She sought justice for what had happened to her brother, but she did not do so in an unhealthy way. She worked hard so that one day she would be able to punish Death Eaters and other terrorists without killing them and causing more death and destruction. Her brother's death changed Charlotte, there is no doubt about that, but it was not a major change of character that sometimes came about with the death of a loved one. Charlotte grew up during a time of war, and she was forced the realize the destruction that war brought to all people. It made her an advocate of peace and justice, but not the idealistic kind of peace that dreamers hope for. Charlotte realized that the only way to stop the war was to do something about it, and so she made it her goal to find a way to be an influence in the war without going out and killing people. After graduating from Hogwarts, Charlotte got an internship at the Ministry thanks to her parent's positions there. She slowly worked her way through the ranks of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement until last year she was finally made Head of the Department, which meant that she became Chief Justice of the Wizengamot. She hopes to serve in the position for many years to come.
