It is the sturdiest wand of its kind and it tends to give off a slight glow when he is nearing danger. Family Information: Character's Father's Name: John Character's Mother's Name: Katherine Character's Siblings' Name(s): none that he knows of Character's Pet: none Character's Broom: nimbus 2001 Character's Boggart: a pair of dice Member Title:Tragically Lucky Appearance: James is 5’10 and isn’t the most athletic but has a thin enough body type. He has a dark sandy brown hair which always seems to be a mess, but appears to be slightly curly to others. He has very dark blue eyes that almost seem like black at at certain moments when he is expressing his emotions. High cheekbones with decent sized lips that let off a wide grin on occasion. Ears are usually covered by his hair and he has broad shoulders which fits well with his height. When not in uniform tends to wear darker colored baggy pants with a random assortment of shirts. Wears a dark vest and rough gloves with finger cutoffs that sometimes give him the look of a gambler, but looks can be deceiving. Personality: Friendly for the most part. Gets along well with others, but doesn’t make useless effort to make friends unless it comes to him. Always wears a grin or a smile and lets off the personality that he is nice and easy to get along with. Examines others greatly by his simple attitude and is able to decide right away how he can get along with certain people and how he should act with them. Doesn’t follow anyones lead though and tends to go in his own direction when he feels necessary. Has one or two best friends and he knows a lot of other kids. Usually dislikes those who crave everyone’s attention. Extremely analytical and a great problem solver in most situations and is not afraid to take control if there is no one else that is willing. History: Lived an average childhood up to the age of eight with his parents who never let on that there was anything out of the ordinary. Everything changed when one night they were visited by a man whom James later found out to be a death eater. Most of the events after that are still very hazy to him for he found himself in the midst of his destroyed home days later with little knowledge of what had happened. He remembered some sort of fight and a thing called magic being used but other than that his parents had disappeared. He was very scared at the time because he was so young and he searched for his uncle who helped him a little bit but didn’t seem to care about what had happened to his parents. Over the years he slowly learned of some of his different magical abilities and he learned many gambling skills from his uncle who was a professional. When he mentioned the word magic to his uncle at the age of 12 he was abandoned in a hurry and left on his own. By this time he could fend for himself and he wandered to many different muggle cities as he relied heavily on his luck to survive and he stumbled upon more and more information about Voldemort and his death eaters and he tried to piece together information about why his parents had abandoned him, but he only remembered magic. He became very quick to examine every detail as he tried to put together those dreadful days, but he could never fully remember what had happened so he finally decided to enroll himself in Hogwarts so he could learn how to become more powerful with magic so he could one day hunt down the death eaters until he finds out what happened to his parents no matter what the cost. He made some friends at Hogwarts during his first year and during the summer he went back to his uncles and he finally made his uncle agree to let him stay with him during the summers as long as he supported himself. By the time his third year of Hogwarts had ended he was felt like he knew more than enough to search for his parents and he returned to the wreckage of his house to discover clues of different types of magic that had been used all too long ago. He was about to leave when he found a message that had been inscribed in magic for him on a small piece of paper under the wreckage. He had stumbled upon it by luck and it said that both of his parents loved him very much and they might never see him again, but he was to keep on fighting against wizards who used dark magic like the death eaters so he could one day live with his family in peace. James wanted revenge, but he let it sit in the back of his mind knowing that he would continue his studies in Hogwarts so he could become a great wizard and maybe one day become an auror so he could find those death eaters who had made his life this way. He is beginning his fifth year in Hogwarts and with the war becoming more and more of a threat, especially with the death of Albus Dumbledore he is extremely careful of everyone and everything around him. He begins to purse the idea of becoming an auror once he is out of Hogwarts.
