In Character Information- this is information everyone in the game needs to know and can make use of. ======================== Name: Maya Valentino Gender: female Age: 21 Height: 5'9" - 175cm Build: is a bit on the tall side for someone of Latin American descent, but it's most likely a trait acquired through the bit of interracial mixing not uncommon to her ancestors. Her features, minus her hips, are generally slender, though by no means delicate. Some soft curves ere and there, but hardly enough to get her labeled 'gorgeous'. And come to think of it, she wouldn't mind a slightly bigger bra size... Hair Color & Length: medium brown with loose, minimally-tended curls. They could be tighter and more sproingy if she tried, but it usually ends up so that she's got little waves that sort of resemble curls near the bottom. In a pony tail, her hair falls to about between her shoulder blades. Down (which absolutely NEVER happens, except during sleep and showers), it reaches about midback. Eye Color: naturally dark brown. Has honey-colored tints, when in good enough light. General Style of Dress: there's no doubt about Maya's city girl tendencies when it comes to her fashion sense. Although her style isn't very elegant or frilly, she does dress to impress. Partial to snug to tight fitting clothing that accentuate her shoulders and hips (since those are what she considers her key features). Also not one for much heat. Her wardrobes consist mainly of skirts, shin-length pants, short sleeves, tank tops, and camisoles. Definite urban chick look. Distinguishing Marks: almost always wearing lipstick, usually a color slightly darker than her skintone (not much for bold lips) ; although this isn't a mark, the way she walks around and stands. Unless extremely distressed, it generally radiates a calm, individual, 'just you dare and piss me off' aura ; has a beauty mark on her right cheek, and several on her arms Out of Character Information- this is information mainly meant for the mods to keep track of things. Any information posted here cannot be used by players unless it is mentioned during game play. ============================ Species: human Physical Abilities: nothing she (or myself) are aware of. Weaknesses: a bit addicted to smoking ; tends to express her discontent through mildly malicious means (i.e. vandalism, snappy argument, spiteful actions) ; has something of a fear of cops, and feels anxious while in the vicinity of any ; a bit blunt at times to the point that she may secretly regret it later ; an instinctive troublemaker ; comes off as a tad shallow; suspicious of most everyone ; mildly racist, mostly when she's angry ; stubborn, even though half the time it's over things she's not even sure about ; critical of others ; instinctively backs away from any implication of being babied or chaperoned ; afraid of failure when it comes to certain things (especially things that may challenge her authorative and independent demeanor) Brief History: It seems to Maya that the only excitement of her life happened before she was five. As a baby, she was brought to Europe by her parents and a few of their friends and relatives, all illegal immigrants, boarded on the luggage storage on the back of a plane. From the emotional, rambling, and Spanish-dotted accounts she's heard from her father a million times throughout her childhood, it wasn't easy. Poverty, constant fear of the government and it's immigration policies, and a few serious illnesses/injuries here and there was apparently the plotstuff of her earlier years. In the spirit of 'a new opportunity', Maya's parents have always worked hard to provide their only daughter with the best they could manage. True, they never became billionaires and moved to Beverly Hills, but with enough time, basic luxuries such as clean roomy apartments, a fixed income, and English lessons became available. Life turned normal. Maya went to school, lived through her youth, and tried her best to keep up in her classes. Around her later teenaged years, she began turning a little rebellious and tending to get into trouble. By the time she left her parents' home, the three of them were not exactly on the best of terms. A few hardships of her own (although not nearly as dramatic as the one earlier mentioned) ensued before Maya finally found a reasonably-priced apartment in downtown Verschieden. Her jobs generally haven't lasted long, and in the three years she's been in the city, have ranged from cafe waitress to window washer. With low rent, hardly any intention of saving for college, and no one but herself to care for however, she manages to not make work her entire life and soul. ---- As the game progresses, please fill in this section as well.
