Since this is for general chat, almost anything is appropriate to talk about. Had a bad day? Feel free to share. Just put 'rant' in your topic description. Want to share a recipe? Do it here. Again, just put 'food' in your topic description. There are, however, a few exceptions to this. 1. No pity posts. This is not a forum run by trained professionals. We are not certified to help you deal with your problems. If you're dealing with issues such as depression, or suicidal thoughts, among others, please seek professional help. 2. Religion. A lot of times, religion brings up a debate, or argument, which are both things we want to avoid. Debates can be good, but not when it's dealing with something you hold dear, such as your faith. 3. Sexual orientation. We don't need witch hunts for people who are 'different'. Those differences are what make people unique and interesting. No one should feel threatened simply because of who they find attractive. 4. Politics. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions where politics is concerned. Let's just keep it that way. Please use your judgement. Do not start a topic in which the intent is debate and argument. Everyone has an opinion and everyone is entitled to it. Anyone found doing this will be banned from the OOC area. |
