No one knows why they come to Penngrove. The stories told by each resident are as varied as the residents themselves. It is remarkably ordinary, in almost every way.

Yet here you are. For whatever reason, you've come here, as have many others before you. You've come to find something. You don't know what it is you've come to find, you may not even be aware that you're searching for it. But whatever it is, and whatever your circumstances are, you've been somehow convinced beyond all doubt that you'll find it here.

Welcome to Penngrove.

04/03/13 - There've been some changes in staff. A full explanation is available in the Announcement forum. Let's be sure to extend our gratitude to Falque, Ziek, Arctic Feredir, and Naminote for their contributions and service to Nebulous. Also, let's welcome our new moderators Angeles, Atiri, and Karas. Thanks to everyone for bearing with us through this transition phase as we prepare for Beta testing, and also for the first Central Chronicle, details coming soon! -Darquarius
27/02/13 - After much awaiting and tinkering, The Penngrove Post (formerly known tentatively as The Penngrove Chronicle, thank you Chesh for the smart name suggestion with alliteration) has its first issue. You can read it here!
27/01/13 - Please don't forget that for those in current RP threads, an entry should be submitted to the Chronology with a short synopsis. Nami can't assign dates for you!
14/01/13 - Alpha staging is already on its way! You are free to roleplay in the forums, as moderators process character applications. I am somehow going to customise the twitter widget... DaM! D8

No one can hide from da Santa Claws!
Sprawled out across a table in the Wilson Hall lobby area in the evening hours, Annabelle was hard at work studying for her next exam. She'd thankfully managed to get the day off, so instead of being harassed at the hospital she was spending her time beating into her head every term, description, and such that needed to be put into play. The young lady had a practice version of her test, but with all that was on her mind and plate it was barely even filled out.

Frustrated, Anna sat back and stretched, popping the joint in one arm as it felt stiff - even though she knew better than that. "Three hours... Lawd have mercy..." the Mender idly mused, staring at the clock as she groaned. No time to whine about her progress, however; three more chapters demanded her attention out of her Adv. Anatomy book, and then it was onward to Calculus for another hour's worth of study. No doubt she'd go out of her mind just trying to figure all this stuff out.

Anna's stomach growled, but she ignored it. There was no time to rest, and she could eat later. Besides, she'd been putting on weight lately by eating things she really shouldn't be in haste, and the salad bar in the college's cafeteria dropped their prices right before they closed to get rid of what had been sitting around all day. So she could wait another hour, hour and a half before grabbing something. It wouldn't be appealing, but it was still edible - moreso than the "food" served out of the machines.

What she could go for right now was another 5-Hour, which she was going to need if she wanted to get through all this studying. Already the one she drank in the middle of her last class was wearing off, and weariness was besetting her. Putting her pencil down, Anna groaned, mildly frustrated - but moreso annoyed at her dependence upon caffeine. Growing ever more tired as she thought about it, the young lady pushed away from the table, grabbing her backpack as she sifted through it looking for a few more dollars that was surely somewhere in there. If someone had told her that college was going to be like this, she might've just stayed home and found some other profession to work in.
