I wouldn't mind being an organizer if given the chance, would be nice to have some more events with decent rewards.
You have the ability to start hosting events already, you know the forums and how to use them ^_^ go ahead. We never said that only organisers are allowed to host events or anything, robin hosted for weeks before we ranked him up to organiser.

I have a question that maybe wasn't fully planned or thought out here... but,

Was part of the agreement for these changes to lock players out of using citadel for free weekly XP and skills?

We've got the means to end players from multiple skill plots like Mining and Smithing - where we can redirect their XP in the right direction between metal ore/metal bar and precious ore/precious bar (and of course stone we lock every time upkeep is met since we've fully paid for upgrade with this material).

But what of the other skills that only let us gather for a single resource? Would the best course of action be to put the clan under slavery and lock all skills except one if we were down to the final resource needed? Or is it best to allow freedom of player to earn XP in desired skills (so long as upkeep is paid and we lose nothing)?

We will eventually reach our upgrade no matter which way we go about it. I just figured people would be more inclined to assisting a clan they felt part of, rather than slaves to do only what we tell them they may do.

Or perhaps I was under the misunderstanding of how this all works ever since the option came into play that gives key ranks control over locking/unlocking resource. But do give me some clarification on which is best.

I had trouble sleeping. And sure enough I had to deal with this issue on my own when confronted by Heliana about why I've unlocked Crafting for the second time today, when a member of chat said they were unable to skill at citadel. Presented with this issue I've decided to lock all skills once weekly upkeep is met until we gather further feedback on which course of action everyone felt was best. Because by all means I am not know-it-all with this. It is a new area for all of us and I'd gather go with majority opinion rather than just what I feel or what skill-levelers joined the clan for.

Well our clan goal as citadel clan is reaching tier 7 fast.. for your guides and to be a part of the top clans. Most people do not complain, they don't have to gather and if they do why can't they help their clan out with their goal? Not everyone will like that, but its has been our goal since we got the citadel and it's why we (I) have been posting a lot on the clan leaders forum to get the option to lock skill plots. It is only like this for max 2 more weeks.. After that we will have tier 7, we can get storehouse t7 and they can gather even more resources on their beloved skill plot.

So do you really put 2 weeks of people being unable to gather what they like.. while they don't have to gather over the clans goal?

Only two people complained to me ever about it, and one of them will be banned soon.

We have a citadel clan, we rank for gatherin resources then they can help their clan for two weeks. It's not slavery, we won't kick them for not gathering they have a choice not to gather. If they have some clan spirit in them they they wont complain, it's just capping twice on something they might not like or need..

Its just till tier 7. A week or two away...people will/can live. Locking plots won't matter once we're tier 7 really.


And Erik regarding colours, I know, my post was in support of you and keeping them not changing them :L Regarding the events part....well the only problem would be that set events for set days would get boring after a while. Spontaniety has an appeal to it in my opinion. Its hard to explain but I'm of the opinion it wouldn't work.

It would be nice to have spontaniety.. I've seen people try and ask the clan if they wanted to do something.. but then they get no reply or everyone isn't willing to stop with what they're doing :(

I’ve got some late feedback about that the minimum amount of resources are too low and should least be 1k. We will start using it next week, so it’s not too late to change it. Does anyone have a problem with changing it to:

Recruit: 1000 resources instead of 250
Corporal 1300 resources instead of 500
Sergeant 1700 resources instead of 800
Lieutenant 2000 resources instead of 1200
Captain 2300 resources instead of 1750
General max resources which will be 2700

So who’s up for changing it to this?
