The good thing about these suggestions Tiff, is that we can try it and see what happens, then tweak it as necessary. :3

In short.

1) The ranking system.

For P2P:
Recruit: new / silent / inactive member - gathers 250 resources least in two different weeks to get a rank-up to Corporal.
Corporal: gathers 500 resources least in two different weeks to get a rank-up to Sergeant.
Sergeant: gathers 800 resources least in two different weeks to get a rank-up to Lieutenant.
Lieutenant: Is an active talker in the clan - gathers 1200 resources least in two different weeks to get a rank-up to Captain.
Captain: Member that's been gathering, talking and joins hosted events (not only the drop parties, and only if he/she is online). Gathers 1750 resources least in two different weeks to get a rank-up to General.
General: Member that's been gathering resources, is an active talker, joins events and uses our NGOR AND/OR Rs forum (one of them). Gathers 2500 resources weekly to maintain the rank.

Note: the citadel tier 7 storehouse will hold a max cap of 2700.

The other ranks can keep their rank unless they don't cap in two weeks (one week for generals). Reminder the generals have the chance to win a month membership that's why I would like that they have to gather weekly.

F2P ranks can get ranked up to let's say Sergeant for being active talking in the clan and joining the possible F2P events.

Also there will be made a thread on the Runescape clan forum to post on where people can tell us that they can't gather resources that week or for 2 weeks, with a reason like exams, vacation or a private reason which you won't have to explain. The NGOR members can use the active rank check thread for that.

2) Promoting events.
The events will be posted on our Runescape event section, NGOR and on the clans Facebook page. It will be advertised in the clan chat randomly so we should be good with that now.

3) Kicking inactive recruits.
two points on this one:
-The keyranks will try to contact the inactive recruits in game their pm/clan chat if they don't reply we write them down. If we haven't seen them saying a word then they'll be kicked out after the next citadel reset.
-This will only happen once or more often depends what you all think. We will check the gained xp from our members, the ones with less than 10k xp will be kicked if they aren't on probation.

Sooo.. Most people agree with this?
Perfect, it should be said.

Ya, it's nice to have people active on here, but the more we try to steer people towards this site, the riskier it is for our account status in game. Advertising websites is never allowed, they have an entire friends chat dedicated to nailing web advertisers.

I don't mind a 24 hour mute lol. I am completely against that rule anyways. Freshman year an irl friend got me muted for advertising cos he asked me what I did in science and I told him we were on this site (forget what its called) but you answer questions and donate 60 grains of rice to a kid in Africa for every correct question.

Pinta it depends. Inside clans for your own clan site is allowed as far as I'm aware. Jagex has no issues with community websites like RHQ, Sals Realm and so on, and have supported clans with their own sites. As long as you aren't going around in public screaming "join this site" and as long as it doesn't look sus, no one really minds. The important bit to remember is that we're in the clan talking about our own community site. If the Jmod clan community leaders are aware of the site and have confirmed it with Erik (which I believe has been done some time ago) it is perfectly fine. But it wouldn't be a bad idea to confirm with Erik first I suppose, I could be incorrect. The web advertiser clan is focused on scamming sites and gold selling sites rather than clan sites.

Its certainly worthwhile seeing these forums alive again :)

just thought of something. many people would agree that ngor can sometimes be a hassle for some members in the clan. many new members dont even know what the citadel is, what a clan website is, or even what a clan chat is. it can be really difficult for a new clan member to adjust to our rules and they can get frustrated and think its dumb and probably end up leaving. i suppose a few ideas for maybe helping this.

1. in order to help a new recruit by not pummeling him with all of the clan stuff all at once, have the recruit informed that there is a clan website and can register at anytime, but once you are awarded the sergeant or lieutenant rank, the member should be required to register on ngor and start to familierize him/her self with ngor, but not actually require any posting. and wait till general rank to start required posting of maybe a couple of posts a week.

this plan would increase the traffic on ngor and have more members actually taking part in clan affairs.

2. instead of all of that, just require it once the member is a general, and hope the clan members will want to register on there own freewill before general

Ya it sounds good vox and also I think it would be cool if we had a group of players willing to give up some of their time to be like a mentor for new recruits. Whenever we get a new recruit they would be assigned one of these mentors that has time and that mentor would show them how to get to ngor, or runescape clan forums if you think that is not safe to do, and would show them how to get to citadel, and what to do in the citadel when their probation is off.

I think that who ever recruits the person should tell this ^^ I know that I mention most of it, ranking, citadel, clan forums to the peopleI invite, it's just a short speach shouldn't be that hard to do. keyranks can do this or generals maybe as way to get themselves promoted to a keyrank as soon we get rid of the members that don't reply.. Should get the traffic going :)
