I think kicking people with 10k or less experienced gained since in the clan is an excellent idea. They are not really playing runescape so what is the point of having them in clan. |

In short. 1) The ranking system. For P2P: Recruit: new / silent / inactive member - gathers 250 resources least in two different weeks to get a rank-up to Corporal. Corporal: gathers 500 resources least in two different weeks to get a rank-up to Sergeant. Sergeant: gathers 800 resources least in two different weeks to get a rank-up to Lieutenant. Lieutenant: Is an active talker in the clan - gathers 1200 resources least in two different weeks to get a rank-up to Captain. Captain: Member that's been gathering, talking and joins hosted events (not only the drop parties, and only if he/she is online). Gathers 1750 resources least in two different weeks to get a rank-up to General. General: Member that's been gathering resources, is an active talker, joins events and uses our NGOR AND/OR Rs forum (one of them). Gathers 2500 resources weekly to maintain the rank. Note: the citadel tier 7 storehouse will hold a max cap of 2700. The other ranks can keep their rank unless they don't cap in two weeks (one week for generals). Reminder the generals have the chance to win a month membership that's why I would like that they have to gather weekly. F2P ranks can get ranked up to let's say Sergeant for being active talking in the clan and joining the possible F2P events. Also there will be made a thread on the Runescape clan forum to post on where people can tell us that they can't gather resources that week or for 2 weeks, with a reason like exams, vacation or a private reason which you won't have to explain. The NGOR members can use the active rank check thread for that. 2) Promoting events. The events will be posted on our Runescape event section, NGOR and on the clans Facebook page. It will be advertised in the clan chat randomly so we should be good with that now. 3) Kicking inactive recruits. two points on this one: -The keyranks will try to contact the inactive recruits in game their pm/clan chat if they don't reply we write them down. If we haven't seen them saying a word then they'll be kicked out after the next citadel reset. -This will only happen once or more often depends what you all think. We will check the gained xp from our members, the ones with less than 10k xp will be kicked if they aren't on probation. Sooo.. Most people agree with this? |

Well, everyone else seems to like these ideas. I'm not completely against them, just don't think they are all incredibly necessary. But if everyone else thinks it's a good idea, then I support. I agree with veiled black. If there are a bunch of recruits who are talking in the clan, I see know reason to kick them out as long as they aren't being disruptive, unless we need space. To be honest, I see 3 major flaws in your final system. 1. F2p is an exempt from gathering resources for obvious reasons, yet they can still be promoted to Sergeant while at the same time P2P would be kicked out of cc for not gathering resources. I think we should allow both f2p and p2p to at least be private rank if they refuse to collect resources seeing as that before the Citadel, the clan was more friend based compared to today's clan which relies heavily on putting effort towards one thing. 2. Active talking is an opinion, and not all members are talkative (based on their personality). I knew generals before in C9 like Rachel and Christa who would not talk in the cc unless it was absolutely necessary. Why not change that to people who attend events while being online? Also, it is very hard to track "talkative people". 3. Once more, why not have all star ranks require forum registration? |

1. Sorry that I didn't make this clear but P2P and F2P players won't be kicked if they show any sign of life so yes also the P2P recruits are free to stay even when they don't gather resources.2. Well most of us are willing to track down the talkative people, and we won't be that strict, we just want them to talk a few times a week not days straight or when ever they're online. Just a little improvement from having the chat dead silent at some points. 3. And nowadays many people don't trust sites, that's why not all the ranks have to register. We will try to get them to though. But yes most people are afraid to register and get hacked.. |
