http://www.youtube.com/user/SEGANextGen2012 This guy earned over 170 subscribers in a week. There's definitely something going down since people won't believe fake channels and videos and would troll/flame the hell out of the videos. This one seems promising with some hard evidence showing a possible Dreamcast 2 in the works. It's about time for Sega to return I say. They sold out to Nintendo and thus lost the battle since 1990 for best game console after showing them up with many new inventions and ways to game that other platforms lacked. While Sega CD wasn't successful and thus led to the decline in loyal fans -- they've always had the better hardware since Super Nintendo vs Sega Genesis, GameBoy vs GameGear, Nintendo 64 vs Sega Saturn, GameCube vs Dreamcast. So I guess this 5 year wait til the last good thing was just to build up something better by observing the competition through Microsoft vs Sony on both the XBox vs Playstation 2 and XBox360 vs Playstation 3. When XBox720 and Playstation 4 drop -- we can say goodbye to the next Nintendo flop and say hello to the return of the innovator Sega! |

Pfft, Nintendo has had the better games/consoles since the competition started to be brutally honest, Sega just didn't have the same appeal. That said, I do love sega, and I'm looking forward to a dreamcast that I hope will blow the other consoles away :L On that note however...the latest video with images of the controller and console together....It looks exactly the same as the 360 controllers, only slightly pointier and with a different thumb pad, which makes me a little sus. |

ah i remember playing a sonic the hedgehog game on the dreamcast. seems like it was only yesterday :l if the dreamcast 2 is being worked on it would have to be a pretty radical jump from the previous console. what would it offer that my ps3 doesnt already have?.... |

Awe come on now. Remember Nintendo is all about kid games and keeping it PG13. Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis both had Mortal Kombat but only one had blood and fatalities. I think the other you needed to enter a code to unlock blood and it was annoying because I only owned Super Nintendo. We were too poor to also go out and buy Sega Genesis or 3DO or Atari Jaguar. Gameboy vs Gamegear. Gamegear has color. Nintendo64 vs Dreamcast. Dreamcast had WMV (you could play games on the memory card, store save data, and level up little tomogotchi-like pets that affect in-game unlockables. Sega could always play any audio CDs once they moved out of the game cartrege business and on to discs with Sega CD and later systems. I know Nintendo has their share of innovations like Wii with the technology XBox is just not catching up on and Playstation 2 already had. Or how Nintendo64 allowed you to use the one controller in 3 different methods. Correct me if I'm mistaken though. Wasn't it Sega Dreamcast the first home gaming system to allow internet multiplayer? I remember hopping on Rainbow Six with my keyboard or playing Quake 3 Arena and owning peeps via dial up internet (right before Ethernet became widely expanded).
