Oops. Sorry half asleep and running 2 computers trying to keep updating clan pages when every turn we decided on what should be the final outcome and best solution. I always associate you and Bridled Ruin for some odd reason. Both people I respect the opinion of, same for Zg7. Edited by Kire667, Apr 13 2011, 06:10 AM.

I still don't know Erik.. 2 seperate chats isn't really going to get us anywhere.. Basically we're just adding another chat for forum users only which is a waste of a chat to be honest. If you want to use both chats then I suggest going with Veileds idea. FC as a trial membership and CC as the proper clan is honestly the perfect idea.. It not only benefits the forums but it benefits the community as a whole. |

Plain and simple, we just need to do what we have had in mind Friends Chat and Clan Chat sound great. ONE needs to be for FORUM rank only, most likely the clan chat channel. The Friends Chat Channel can be for everyone else, maybe use that one for the 99s only part? And about the new clan chat channel, I've been thinking it over since a new rank has come into life. If we ever need more people for kicking, why not re-implement the whole mods get lowest rank to kick, which could be General, which would represent old Captain Rank, and Generals retain Admin Rank, whilst Erik has Owner/Deputy Owner ranks for his own benefit. With this, if trolls happen to appear more often and none of us admins/generals are not on, most likely a mod will be on to help enforce rules and keep the trolls/offensive players out of friends chat and clan chat. And how did my name get brought up in here before I posted? Lols |

Why..? What's the point of having both chats? If we do that, it'll be what we had before just with another chat for forum users only and that doesn't really help us at all.. Infact it just gives us a chat that a few people will talk in even though they're already talking in FC.. It's a waste. We need those members to finally get off RS for a bit and take the time to join the group for real. This place just isn't about Runescape, it's about gaming in general and the first step into making it a legit gaming site.. Recruit from our most popular game. |

Phce: It's all about "Catherby" our home town of world 9. I've made the final decision yesterday before signing out at 10AM. It's easier to remember us from the main chat "Catherby" to simply move users over to our clan "Catherby" than to make them both different things. I'm keeping both names "World 9 Headquarters" and "W9HQ" so posers don't steal our name. I've linked BOTH clan pages to redirect back to us at "Catherby" clan page. And from there we shall do all our events, ranked clan matches, and discussion. Zg7: I can see where you're coming from. Since the one is forum ranked ONLY in chat, maybe we can ease the friend chat into clan chat. But in the end ANYONE can be ranked in UNLIMITED friend chats (but only I can set ranks set bans or promote ranks for the first 200 people, but they can be ranked in as many chats as they want). So that will be the most popular chat obviously. The clan chat can only rank ONE player per ONE clan at a time so it's common knowledge people will want to be part of a real clan for ranking and contests than being ranked by a fansite, guidesite, or community. For now we're mainly in friend chat "Catherby" until people figure out of they wish to become members of the forum to gain access/rank at clan "Catherby". Friend chat = public Clan chat = private So ranks will remain based on 99s. But for rank in friend chat goes up to 6x99, rank in clan chat goes up to 5x99 (based on there are no smile face ranks for clan chat). But users will gain better access to our group in clan chat since friend chat is just for public to join and talk. We will make clan chat where guests can't talk at later point. The drop parties that take place we might even set clan chat so guest can't enter. That way we KNOW for a fact that only clan members are there and not friends or public. ^ Sounds like winning to me. keep friend chat way it is. ranking in "clan chat" can be forgotten... i mean, the clan chat is for vets of the NG, people we've known for years who can have personal talks etc.. or go kill stuff.. however the night ends up going.. but why get into an argument over rank if no one just a thought |

Nova: It was an idea since forum wants ranks for forum, and chat wants rank for 99s. But yeah reviewing the comments it would be best to keep the ranking uniform and just make it juniors and elites of W9HQ. That way public can access and learn about us or get instant help for all RS questions in friend chat "Catherby", while registered members of W9HQ forum can get their benefits for being "allowed" to use clan chat "Catherby". I still like the idea we can make it so only clan can enter "Catherby" during all drop parties. If they wish to attend they must become a registered member of our forum. And later down the road we can make it a guideline to get accepted into clan chat they need to post at least 10 topics/replies per week to be accepted. Just throwing an idea out there for future updates.

Ok so there is no point of having a recruiter then cause its only forum registered people in that "catherby" clan chat? And there isnt going to be many members in the "Catherby" clan chat :S I think we should start taking the clan chat seriously we are currently ranked 5557 in the world i wouldnt mind being a bit closer to the top Erik, we have 30 members the person below us has 1 member so i think we could make it close to the top ![]() I think we should start taking the clan chat seriously we are currently ranked 5557 in the world i wouldnt mind being a bit closer to the top Erik, we have 30 members the person below us has 1 member so i think we could make it close to the top
