Wait what? I was away like three days (school retreat) and that happened! Also, yes combining sounds like a good idea. |

Erik got hacked. Also I'm not combining the topics because we have highly classified information in ours and you don't. |

Copy and paste the ideas regarding this topic from the other thread to here, so we can all see? |

Maybe not combine it with yours but give it it's own thread so it stops spamming on the original topic of this thread |

Not as easy as It should have been. But I managed to finally move all the posts related to a separate topic. |

Good ideas thus far. Zg7: Copy/paste any information that isn't classified strictly to chat staff is a wonderful suggestion. Whom ever was involved in the discussion there may do so. I'm tired always and I just woke up (how the hell does that work?). Sam: You now know how to do something I don't. Split threads.

let me continue, the idea is dumb because requiring a post count will make all those members that we have on the clan chat, most of which are not members here on these forums, come to the forums to "raise" post count, by any means necessary. We've tried post count before, and we had to return to the 5 forum mods etc like erik has said in the past, and it didn't work. So, the idea is dumb, come up with something original that will help with a positive increase in members with a low rate of spam, one word replies etc. lets not look into the past but pave a new future. |

Gets people to use the forums? That's what the people want.
Gives people a chance to add to the community, being mods and lets the admins do something worthwhile with their forum powers.
..When was this?? I started using CC when it first was added and stopped using it mid 2009.. Then I was one of the people who actually managed to change to ranking system for a few months.. I don't remember us ever using the post count system before, ever.
This will do 1 of 2 things. 1: Either it will bring an increase in members with a rate of spam and one word replies that is custom to any gaming forum service. 2: No one will bother to listen and they will ***** and moan about why they cannot be ranked, eventually leading to Erik giving in to the pressure as usual and switch it back to the old system. (This is the one I see happening). Edited by Zg7, Apr 12 2011, 08:30 PM.
