Thank you Myke. Okay now that that is over with let me be the first to actually get back on topic here. I agree with you on that point Myke, as much as they are affecting the game play you think people would just stop but some people can't learn. It's so funny how they mess up the game and yet the people who try to stop them for the better of things end up being hated by the crowd I guess that's just how things work these days. I've had the same account since the day I started RS and I've never had a problem with it being my only one. I guess I'll never understand it. Edit:And for future preferences if you have a problem personally with a topic instead of bringing it up in public which is just committing the very injustice you were offended by, lets keep it to pm's please. |

And now that you deleted the part about Zach I no longer have a problem with the thread, in all honesty its about time someone started doing what your doing, because its not fair to other players, but just the correct way and out of public's eyes goes a whole lot further with people, because it stops a lot of controversy before it starts... all I have said and tried to say, and like Ben said staff are supposed to set an example. |

Myke: You had KingWhales banned and he sent you a message? **** him. You were in the right to do so and if anyone disagrees with you, they should just remember that there is a reason why you're a F Mod. Other then that, I concur with you completely. Jimmy: You would like to see "THE ACTUAL LEADER" post this kind of stuff? Man to be honest, I don't think Erik really gives a crap anymore, he has tried and tried. So I wouldn't expect him to post a thread like this anytime soon. However if you think that he should.. FEEL FREE to PM him. |

Alright. It was a few days I've been getting referenced to come read the forum for some topic. But it was not until today, the actual thread being mentioned was inboxed for me to review. So long as the offenses are discussed which hold solid proof to them, it is the duty of NG Staff to ensure the rules are enforced. While I have ALWAYS been against public display of subject matters which regard direct members within the community, and prefer a more indirect approach which would be a post in the "Officers Quarters" and I prefer to use the "Abuse Reports" or "Admin Polls" section to get majority votes either for or against actions of forum or RScc ban. It serves the purpose to speak from a majority standpoint as to give an example of one offense, to perhaps avoid multiple ones in the future. Jimmy: In order for action to be taken in regards to ban of forum or RScc, a vote would take place under which the "evidence" is not disclosed with public, until after a matter has been resolved, and a decision made by the majority. As for major rule offenses such as hacking, account sharing, and automation, those are regarded as cheating by the standards of NG, and as such, are banned on first offense, and later reviewed by NG Staff for appeal, if one is made. Thanks for the inbox link to this thread, for my review and acknowledgment. Myke: In future instances, feel free to inbox me or one of the other members of NG Staff, to to arrange a Staff discussion, in order to have action taken against such offenders. We may have avoided further such offenses by other potential or current account sharers (RS rule 6), but it also makes a mess with the public relations, and always seems to have led to trouble as far as things tend to go with the person being discussed. So be prepared for a sort of "lashing out" or "revenge" by any persons in question of rule offenses, more so than if it were handled behind closed doors. Also, I wanted to thank you for making the thread more a general discussion, rather than an abuse report to the general public. I arrived late to see what was once posted. Inbox me before posting such threads in future instances, and I will give my feedback if it is a good idea or not to follow through on. Campiello: Lack of communication led to the downfall at N9F. I would prefer if offenses were inboxed my way, so that I am made aware of such forum discussions, even if merely to show my support of them, or to close threads that may get out of hand due to difference in opinions or feedback of slander. And as you have stated, yes it is much like a corporation, under which there is a chain of command, and every single minute action of NG Staff does not go through the rest of NG Staff, but it helps to keep contact with one another, even if merely amongst the fellow Staff members, to have a heads up on the latest chatter of NG. It is good to see things are running smoothly, even in my absence. It makes me proud to be a part of such a grand community. Zg7: Same thing I have responded to Campiello, I am informing you. Only with a closer tie between fellow members of Staff, shall the NG grow and prosper to the fullest extent it can. And without notification and awareness and feedback in unison throughout the NG Staff, even if a simple 2 seconds to send a link to this thread via bulk PM, it means the world to have everyone knowing they are just as much a part of this community as the rest of us. I was saddened to be made aware via RScc by Ackerben, and via inbox PM by Jimmy4848, that my attention to such a matter was not necessary. While I am the one whom is immediately contacted the moment a user is request for ban, or a banned person is requesting appeal (being the one in control of such, of course, but you catch my drift). Let's work together, and make this a community, rather than merely a clan. It will work so much better when everyone is on the same page, working on forming not only friendships, but learning lessons for success. Even though none of us get paid for our hard work, and it is merely an internship, and we learn lessons for life success in the workplace, based on how well we communicate with one another, and ensuring that anything we do, we give it our best shot. |

Ai, don't know why public discussion hits that spot on me that sets me off, but could have gone about it completely different(no yelling) on my part. Sorry about that Myke, but I am not a kiss *** like a lot of people will be, but I just think that if (not saying you are) under investigation or investigated for sharing, etc that you wouldn't want it discussed out in the open, because it is humiliating to be honest. On a different note I really had no problem with your thread other than that one part, and thought it was about time somebody took the initiative to clean up the community a little bit. But I have made my peace and sorrys, peace |

I'll be honest, many years ago when i first began runescape, I used to make pures and give them to a friend, just because we found it good fun to trade and see how good they were and give them back (course at that time neither of us had really "read" the rules). However, I've never lent out my original (deathskull59) and would never do so. In recent years, my attitudes toward the rules have changed, from uncaring to say the least to more or less making sure i follow them and trying to help others do so. And Myke, your doing a good job. Just because Jake got caught out shouldn't give him a reason to go around spam pming you. |
