MMORPG Adverts; This is pretty sad ...

I believe that everyone on this site visits numerous sites everyday, and it's guaranteed that you will see an advert for an MMORPG several times.
The adverts never used to annoy me, all they used to say was things such as;

Gain gold!
Fight monsters!
Level up!
Become powerful!
And so on ...

This tells nothing about the game, at all. All these adverts do is show that the game is EXACTLY THE SAME AS EVERY OTHER RPG EVER MADE. All these games are never going to get anywhere with these kinds of ads, as the games themselves are absolute ****. Now, adverts advertising new MMORPG's have began appealing to the basement dwellers more and more, as they know that sad people will click their adverts. What is attracting these idiots to these games?

Take a look at the following adverts;

These images will make legions of 13 year olds cream themselves and instantly sign up to play this game, only to find out there are no elves with jewels between their boobs and are severely disapointed. By now it's too late, the faggots are addicted and will go on to play the game and spend money on premium items and whatever **** they offer.This annoys the **** out of me, as whenever I am browsing somewhere I don't want to be constantly bombarded by elf priest who is obviously a 12 year old sporting armour which covers nothing just to please the neckbeards.
Anyway ... What's your views on the new adverts online games create?

TL;DR, Adverts are now basically hentai, and I dun like it. The adverts attract faggots, who end up disappointed. Games advertising elves with boob-gems, contain zero elves with boob-gems.

Found another, this is obviously intentional.

DragonSpeaker: Do you ever chat on like, IM's? Because I seriously think I would HIGHLY enjoy chattin with ya. I agree with your opinion. I honestly really don't like the display of women in that matter, whether it would be adult entertainment or whatever. You don't play games for women looking nice or anything, you play it to have fun with the game.

And yeah... those kinds of adverts pretty much 'make me rage' as Gary would say it. Like you said as well, adverts saying 'level up' or 'massive multiplayer!' really don't say anything. They need to tell you some thing UNIQUE about the game, which sadly enough, there really isn't any uniqueness anymore. RuneScape still keeps some of it's originality due to training certain stats rather than overall xp.

Acker, you are officially a member of the Veterans. One of the few honorable warriors that have greatly effected the way I play. For 3 years, you taught me great lessons, and I have come to think of you, as one of the greatest people I have come across. ~ The Dark Within

Ah.. yeah exams **** quite a bit. I'm usually one like, Xfire or Steam pretty much all day. Especially during the weekdays, I pretty much have nothing to do on weedays whatsoever.

An easy solution to ending all lag on NG, and avoding annoying pop up ads and flash mx ads, is to go on FireFox, click on Tools, go to Options, then turn off both JavaScript and Java.

Some features are removed such as bulk-selecting inbox messages to delete or move. But it helps wonders to completely remove those annoying ads from your screen (not that ads don't fund our forum, after all -- but should we endure them ALL the time?).

DragonSpeak6: Hit us up on RuneScape HD sometime, buddy. Always a fun place to discuss this, just so long as you have the ability to speak in riddles, that which Jagex and under-aged chat goers have no idea exactly what you mean, for the most part.

I've pretty much mastered the technique, since I haven't had a single offense on game for a while now.

Also, watch those double posts under 24-hour span. Simply click EDIT and you are free to post as much as you like, and as often as you like. Also, providing links to images, rather than a cluster **** of images, helps to reduce lag for myself and some of the other low-end internet users of NG.

And yes, I strongly agree with you on that. The majority of adult games, provide images that appeal to the younger viewers, since people start online addictions at an early age now a days.

So, why not advertise a game merely showing off the female figure? It got World of Warcraft as the world-wide largest P2P MMORPG in existence, and it's primarily based on the way the DANCE emote works for the female elf race. Not so much the female human or female tauran (unless you like your women all-natural). But yeah, the majority of the new-age MMORPG and pretty much any role-playing game has to have some female with something that lures the male population. Or we would all just be playing Halo, Counter-Strike, and Gears of War until the cows come home. Role-Playing and SIMs are typically a thing that (back in the day when SIMS 1 was first out) females love to play. Having control over the lives of others, is exactly the only thing my ex-fiancee would EVER play.

That's just my 2 cents on the matter. I'm sure I'm wrong, but just a good guess, perhaps. Take it for what it's worth.

Now the whole game's changed and it ain't nothing without me.

Save the Queen, for what reason? From what? Why should you?

The sword just had to act as a big "Forget the rest of this advert, look here!", they should just have written the game name on a pair of tits and it would have been far more effective.
