Yeah, and N0vaLyfe is still my idol. The stuff I use in reference to his group falling apart ever since he left RS has no relation to the player we knew in game. And there are still some at that forum whom share the belief that unless there is respect for fellow members, the group itself shall die out. They lost their leader, which he was the primary fame that generated business, being the only guy that surpassed Zezima back in 2006, and did it in fewer years than it took Zezima to get max skill total in the first place. I do see some resemblance to how N9F was, in my absence as staff/leader. Perhaps if N0vaLyfe came back to RS, even once a week or day, just to check up on HIS forum, the members would start showing respect for fellow members, rather than simply seeing who can cut down the fellow RSE user the best, or get a rise out of slander talkers on the IRC they run. But eh, it's not my forum over there. Completely out of my control. |

Nah, there are a tad more hardcore skillers in RuneScape than me. The max exp I have ever topped out in one day was I think about 230k fishing exp. That was pretty much my no-life it day. |
![]() Acker, you are officially a member of the Veterans. One of the few honorable warriors that have greatly effected the way I play. For 3 years, you taught me great lessons, and I have come to think of you, as one of the greatest people I have come across. ~ The Dark Within for some forum-based RP action.

I did 36 hours at fishing, but I mainly clanchat so I got 1m or 2m experience if even that from lobsters. It was a contest for hours, not experience, between Golem19, Polu02, and myself. To see who was the town's top dog. Now let's see, RuneScape Escape has some big egos, but only time shall prove if they can live up to their high self-expectations. Based on the strong hostility amongst fellow websites for this game, all viewing they are the top or best fansite of game, I have come up with an easy way to determine just that. When April 20th 2009 arrives, I will begin announcing the "tag" to be included in everyone's new account name for this contest. And that "tag" shall be based solely upon which website or forum they read the event at. As such, there shall be a unique tag just for members of this website, and a different tag for those watching the RuneScape Forum for this event. And whoever happens to win, their website and main account will both get mentioned during the video interview for the contest results. Also, I am greatly looking forward to the results video, and videos of during the contest, just to prove to the handful of websites, whom actually think I would host a hoax or scam. There is nothing lost, only gained, through the gift cards I spent MY own money for. So, I still want the video interview with the winner of this contest, just so I can rub it in the face of all those so-called "well known" websites, as they kiss my cheeks while I walk away. And perhaps, the next time we host a contest for that website, they won't be as skeptical -- after all of the rune drop parties we hosted over there between 2003 - 2007. And a slim number of those websites whom post only hatred toward events offered, shall be excluded in the following contests hosted by NGoR. Same with at world 9, clanchat, and anything else owned by the NG, respect is everything. :Woot: |

ok first of all every time i go to post i have to re-log in even though i have "remember me" on. now i think crafting would be best way to go. if ur a member it takes 5mins to get to 10 crafting. just pick up cowhides from lumby cows. go to seers and pick 100 flax then go spin at lumby.buy varok tele tabs. ull only have to go to ge 3 maybe 4 times. sell bowstring and buy flax. itll only take 3 hours tops to get to lvl 40 for highscores. im not goin to perticipate in this event but i think thats a very good way to go. |

The first post of this thread has been updated with the "Tag" used by NGoR members for this contest. There is also a list with the "Tag" used by every website involved in this contest. If you want an easy way to win $20 pre-paid gift card for RuneScape, simple be the FIRST to post a screenshot to this topic showing the name of the FIRST "tag" name in this contest to earn a ranked hiscore in ANY skill used by F2P. Another good method, which I know and have proven time and time again. All you have to do is complete both the Strongholds in Barbarian Village for earn 20000 coins to start it off with. The first method is smelting at Edgeville after Easy Diary Varrock, because it earns money. The ore is cheap-sold at Grand Exchange. The alternate method is using Grand Exchange with that 20000 coins to afford Flax. Take this in bulk to Lumbridge floor 3 bank, and spin on floor 2 wheel, until crafting is ranked in the hiscores page. Yet, either way you go, both require you to pay membership on this "contest" account. And you can only imagine how many will be attempting that, just to win the contest, around the world. And if you checked the link to see the daily chatter from the old RuneScape Escape (N0vaLyfe's forum), they still carry on his ego even after he quit game back in 2006, thinking this contest will be a push over, and it will be complete in a matter of a few hours (not even 1 day). So yeah, heavy competition amongst the websites. Best of luck, everyone here representing for NGoR, the event's host. To avoid spam of double posting, I will have to delete this response, and add in the new one in its place, or maybe just edit this one with the new data later today. The time here in Florida is currently as shown: http://www.clocklink.com/clocks/5007-green.swf?TimeZone=EST& When my time reaches 12:00 AM, on April 20th 2009 (the exact moment the new day begins for my timezone), the required "tag" shall be announced here on NGoR, for anyone wishing to take part in this contest. And when that time arrives, may the best contestant win! |

The winner was selected after only 3 hours and 16 minutes. The fastest event in the history of our website, and that also includes the years at Diablo2 we spent since 1999. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fhzktfCcHo A video interview of the winner shall be hosted at YouTube and MySpace within the next 24 hours or less. For those that were not signed on to witness the victory, DeathSkull59 created account name R67_Skull59, and got ranked in 44 firemaking on the new account. By far, the best speed skiller ability I've seen. Faster than any of them lame autobot account could ever manage (or so I hope). I've posted the various "tag" to each and every website and forum from here to MySpace. May the best skiller bring fame to his/her website, through the resulting interview video I produce on April 21st 2009. And also, thanks to the first person to post the screenshot image of the winner, to also claim his/her own pre-paid gift card for RS P2P (cannot be the person whom won, but the first person to upload an image from SwiftKit/RSClient to PhotoBucket/ImageShack, and then to post that image in a reply to this topic). Oh yeah, and thanks to the noob named Mod_Crow, whom obviously failed at English class during elementary school, thinks that Rule12 in some way affects real-life-only interactions of the "gift card" option, claiming that it some how puts personal information at risk. The event has been relocated to RS Forum at the provided link: http://forum.runescape.com/forums.ws?42,43,871,58717154 Tezza301: You can post in here, but the only true "winner" will be the first person that claims their F2P hiscore rank on the clan channel at Catherby_9, AND also the winner is the first person to submit the screenshot image of the clanchat "winner" to this contest. So on April 21st 2009, I shall be handing out $40, in the form of 2 gift card codes, to both the clanchat "winner" of this contest, and the first person to submit a proof image on this topic at NGoR Forum, of that username whom won the contest. |

Tezza301: Yeah, for being active in chat at the time a winner was found. Thanks for the image proof of the winner, even though I already found him the moment I signed on earlier today. ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhJnBvBVOS0 That is the video interview of the winner, with his secrets to how he beat every other website in getting ranked on a F2P skill in only a couple of hours. |
