About the Group Skilling: Falador Firemaking

Skill Training: FireMaking (promotes woodcutting skill as well)
Wilderness Location: No
Requirements: Must have a tinderbox (or 5 coins to purchase a tinderbox from general store), must have logs that are within your firemaking level required to light.

How to Find Us:

  • Novice: This section is dedicated to players of the lowest log type, which requires less time for a fire to extinguish. The less space used is key to restarting a new fire in its place. (Normal log : left of pub)
  • Intermediate: This section is selected for fire-makers of a more advanced training field. Fires last slightly longer per lit log, which is needed for a more spread-out location of the map. (Oak log : right of pub)
  • Professional: Players of the mid-level log lighting training, has a necessity for a larger playing field. This section marked on the map is designated for such masters-in-training. (Willow log, Maple log : surrounding center-statue)
  • Expert: Given the fact that you are the master of fire-lighting, all players whom seek advice can come here to ask for advice on how best to train their skills, with the least time wasted toward the skill. While your logs take the longest to extinguish, you will require a full line of the map for every load of 27 Yew logs, in order to not encounter a remaining lit-log from the previous trip. (Yew log : entire inner-northern wall)
For the most part, however, these zones will be divided according to the number of players whom arrive to each event hosted at this location. The more attendants, the further toward the red zone we expand.

Small Group: 3 or less players. (left of bank -only)
Moderate Group: 4 to 6 players. (north of pub -included)
Average Group: 7 to 9 players. (east of pub -included)
Extended Group: 10+ players. (northern wall -included)

  • Special Specification(s):
  • Must have a tinderbox to light logs with.
  • Must have your own logs in bank, in order to earn experience at this event.
  • This is a non-Wilderness location. There are not hostiles which will attack, unless you initiate the combat. So, for your low-level safety, bring any bow, but no arrows, to avoid false combat interactions by a mis-click.
