I0_0I: You can't compare on a bias because every single human being on the entire planet, ever since the dawn of time, has been biased.

OK, Recall the time when I and Anthony had a falling out, and then you said I was being "Bias" towards him? Thats the kind of "Bias" I mean. And Bias or not, you can still improve on your attitude towards the people you do not want to have crap to do with.

The Staff is and always will be biased towards certain members. The reason is, if someone attempts to remove you from your position in the Staff or just regularly tries to demean you, you wouldn't treat them fairly.

Now, about keeping the members in the dark - It's always been a policy of Erik's to try and keep the Staff matters to the Staff. That is one of the main reasons behind the mock government that NGoR holds. By "mock government", I'm referring to the King/Rank Leader positions. It relays the attention of the people from the actual issues and allows them to focus on Ranks and things of that matter.

I believe the Members do need SOME say, but I'm not a big fan of the ignorant majority.

Thank you, Hammles, for all of the feedback. You're one of the more important members here because of your ability to speak your mind about the issues.

Well then the "new" rule system, if one is to be implemented, needs to be followed as closely as possible, so not all decisions are based purely on opinion. The staff seem somewhat single-minded on many affairs, it would be quite easy for the staff to make rash, totally opinionated decisions regarding some of the less-liked members.

I'm not sure if anything's changed since I was last an Admin, but, back then, members were generally given punishment based on a a poll of "Did this member break X rule?, and, if so, What should be his/her punishment?". Which could easily be manipulated by 3 Admins who were abused/targeted personally.

The defect of equality is that we only desire it with our superiors

Hammy: Well, now we take action and then vote.

I0_0I: Because, members get 'singled out' from the rest of them, and get targeted. Even if you don't know the person, they'll get labeled 'noob', and then they catch all the ****. That is when your bias towards this group of people shows.

But it still proves that the staff should improve on there biased opinions, whether they have them or not ;)

Also, I usually give the member a week or two before I base a private opinion on them. Also, people who post in the donations section in there first ten posts usually get that label right off the bat. Until they prove themselves.

But its not just My bias, its all the staff as well.

Wow, that's just asking for false punishment there.

well of coarse everyone is bias towards somebody in every group but some people in a group doesnt seem to help as much and are cocky and think they rule the place so people start to go againts them just beacause they dont like them and they will start to pick at everything they do wrong every little thing and i am pretty sure i have seen everyone in this community that is active choose one member and try to get them banned or not like them beaucse of something they did and then other members love that person its just how a community is take zandra some people really liked her and then some people couldent stand her idk why people choose this way its just the world and this world isent perfect nor is anyone in it so making new rules in this community only to be changed in a month and then those rules to be changed not everyone is goin to be happy in this community always goin to be fighting always goin to be bias people idk i just dont like change much sense it only seems to bring argument between people and just lead to more change and it never goin to be perfect

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. We shall direct our focus on the improvement of the way staff is appointed, maintained, and ultimately, governed.

I was working on a system that would run itself, in the instance I could have time to keep up with guides of the game, and expansion into all games of the online world, one at a time.

But, I see that there is still a need for me to have a hand in the upkeep and review of certain areas of the community, namely the actions that occur for punishment of abuse, when located. As well, in the decision-making over new promotions, and proper demotions, if such power abuse is reported.

Well, until we get this worked out, thanks for the help everyone.

HamtaroRox: It is very clearly defined as to what action is taken when each rule is broken. Yet there is no rules governing the chat, which is run by Sakkath, apart from the ones he sets forth in his rules post. So in that, users drag their problems and arguements over into the forum, and that is when they begin with such "bias" views, from something irrelevent to our rules system and logged abuse of forum realm.
