This game has been out for PC. This later version was upgraded from the DVD-Rom version I already had. And will soon be available for the PS3, as well. The game added more weapons, has a nice XB Live multiplayer option, minus the lag you get when playing multiplayer on a PC.

Even though EVERYONE and their brother makes games with a multiplayer versus mode in it, this differs from the rest, because it is like playing Max Payne on a multiplayer. The person to grab the time item, has the ability to use it, slowing time for all players in the game. Though this may seem annoying to some, it tends to prove counter-useful, if the enemy uses it at the wrong time for them, right time for you. Because slower time makes for easier aiming (erm.. shotgun at close range from a blind spot, or even a well-placed sniper shot which can't be dodged).

F.E.A.R. stands for First Encounter Assault Reacon. Basically, they are the S.W.A.T. team, again the supernatural problems of the world. And, boy, does this game have plenty of them. From an experimental weapon of a psychic army -- gone wrong; to mindless clones controlled by a single man (telepathically trained by our own government, for times of necessity), and this ever-present ghost of a girl.. there is never a dull moment.

Though they may be mindless, there are many, and you are few. Using your weapons and the element of surprise is going to be of utmost importance. You enemy will give commands, follow orders of their squad leader, and use cover with anything and everything. From diving through glass windows, to crouching behind overturned tables and crates.. there is very little left to be tweaked to perfection on the A.I. in this game. Be prepared for the fight of your life!

Yes, there is a free demo for the game on the provided website. And no, I won't tell you how this game ends (though, I beleive there is an extended version of the ending I saw with the Pc version).

Now the whole game's changed and it ain't nothing without me.
