Well, the question is, should we keep the holiday DP contest as is, with the top recruiter in 1 day wins 1m gp? Or would we rather have a raffle to randomlly choose a name of who wins 1m gp? If you have other suggestions, feel free to post them as well. I left the vote open for suggestions, as you can see above.

I say raffle, but that is just because I stink at recruiting (although I try very hard!) and I am greedy :). And I think the drop party alone brings in many people. A

I think there should be some requirements put on so that they dont just join to enter the raffle then leave. Just some ideas for some of the requirements is:

  • Must have atleast 40 post that are did not break ANY rules (For those who joined around the time of the raffle)
  • Donated ATLEAST 1 item to any previous or current Drop Party that is worth over 30k
Also maybe a way to get multiple entrys into the contest for showing up to events (to increase chance of you winning)

I'll edit the idea of a raffle later, but how does these pre-requisits sound for the Christmas contest?
  • Christmas Raffle for 1m gp:
  • Must be a member of forum for 3 months (90 days) or more.
  • Must have a post count of 25 or more. (This does not include double/offensive posts.)
  • Must have donated at least 100k gp to the current holiday event (coins/item -- based on price guide values).
The above is not too much to ask for, and actually gives back to those of the community whom help to keeo alive the holiday events for our members, as well as the free server new players of Runescape. Just a small "thank you" to those who aid us in making such events possible, not only now, but for the future of new kids who may not play yet, but someday shall become a part of our great game, and come across our quad-annual event.

Anito1014: Thanks for the forum active idea for requirements. I was going to make it based just on those who donate, but then we would have new kids joining just to give me 10k gp and wanting to get back 1m gp for nothing much hard to earn.
