Sadly, the morons that JaGeX are, removed this section from Wilderness, along with their update of December 15th 2007. This update included the end of Player Killing, the end of donations over 3000 gp per 15 minutes, the end of holiday drops beyond 3000 gp per 15 minutes. And also the filter on "Kire667."

Wilderness Prayer Training:
Bone Yard (Wilderness 28-29)

Walk direct north, from the North Varrock Gate, until you reach Wilderness 29.

There will be a trail of bones stretching far west and east. Look until you find the spot, shown in the image below. It is located nearer the west end of the Bone Yard.

Be careful of PKers, as well as level 25 Skeletons guarding this area. After about 5 minutes of running and hiding from the skeletons, they will not attack you anymore.

You can log out and back on, and they STILL won't bother you, unless you attack first. But leave too far from the image area (shown below), or get a teleportation random event (Drill Demon, Freaky Forester, Gravedigger, Maze, Mime, ScapeRune), and you will have to 'calm' the skeletons all over again.

  1. Follow the path above, starting with the northwest Big Bone (red), and ending with the southeast Bone (yellow).
  2. Wait back again for the northwest Big Bone to re-appear, and grab it. Then go directly to the east Big Bone, and grab that.
  3. Repeat this process again, until you have your desired prayer level.
  4. If you get attacked by an NPC (Non Player Character), simply run to one of the marked safe zones (green), and wait for it to lose interest.
  5. Bones give 4 experience, Big Bones give 15 experience. It takes 10 seconds for step #1, a 10 seconds wait for respawn, then 5 seconds for step #2, and then another 10 second wait. In 35 seconds, you can collect 4 Big Bones and 4 bones, for a total of 76 prayer experience.

Thanks to Total Me Up for explaining the technque, and NGoR36 for mapping and guide.

Nice guide, but I don't want Googl3d to get unwanted combat levels.

Yeah. Well I hate Wild, but I love this post. It took Total Me Up (Ralf) 2 days to finally convince me to check it out. ^_^ No PKers yet.

Dang! Hey, 2167 hours there, you can get 99 prayer. Since 99 any stat is 13m experience (roughly), and you earn 100 prayer per minute.

13000000 = 99 stat
100 = prayer experience pr minute
60 = number of minutes in an hour

(13000000 / 100) / 60 = 2166.66

2167 = number of hours until 99 prayer

So 91 days of non-stop RS2, if you never slow down your pace, would be 99 prayer. And I'm going to stop at that, because I wasted that much time calculating this out, that I could put toward 99 prayer.

Lol, yeah, what's 91 days?

Let's do it!

Nah, might be just a little bit too much.

Nah, PKers would probably ignore you anyway, you're a bit too low ;)

Ralf: Thanks for the assistance, yet again. Just got back from posting notices for 2 hours to all of our allied clans about the next holiday DP.

As for guides, usually I do my own studies, to confirm data. It's really took bad I didn't know it was 4.5 experience per regular bone buried. I alwayas though it was set on a random array coding, where some things gave a random result between 2 or 3 numbers.

I'm leaving this guide up in memory of the game in which JaGeX killed, on December 15th 2007.

For all questions and comments regarding the fall of RuneScape, be sure to inbox me. I have the **** load of links to ALL proof images and JaGeX letters, uploaded to my PhotoBucket account name Kire667.
