Typically, each month we shall hold a vote for the most helpful, active, friendly and all-around greatest rank leader for that month. We may skip a month or two, so it's more random chance that they will get rewarded for their events and helping the community. So, you never know when it just might be your month to be rewarded for all your hard work (for you rank leaders and co-leaders).

Past/Present RPVs at NGoR:
2006 April: winner - Blind Guy + BlackMagiks
2006 March: winner - Blind Guy + BlackMagiks
2006 February: winner - (3-way-tie) none
2006 January: winner - MamiZandra

Rank Popularity Contest
(for rank leaders / co-leaders)

Overview:

This not only make the community active and involved at leading events, but also to get the forums more active, with the involvement of the rank leaders and co-leaders getting their members to vote your their group, in order for chances to win prizes for being the most popular rank group out of all NGoR.

As you can see, I don't include myself in any events I do, as it would seem unfair, and I rathre not give myself prizes, if I can help it. ;) Lol. But yeah, read below for full details of the newest addition to "random events" of NGoR. And expect more events to pop up for thsoe who are forum active, within the 2006 and on, at NGoR.

Guidelines:

  1. Votes begin on the 1st day of every month (at the discression of the NGoR Staff member funding the event).
  2. Once a Rank Popularity Vote (RPV) reaches the final day of the month in which it began, the rank with the majority votes wins.
  3. No tied votes will be counted. At which time, and all prizes shall be held until the following vote end.
  4. If no co-leader is present at the 1st of the month (in which a vote has begun), that prize shall be forfited.
  5. A prize may ONLY be claimed by a rank leader or rank co-leader who has successfully completed 2-months of consecutive Status Updates (2-months of active leadership) in the same rank.
Prizes:

  • Leaders win: Platemail Body (84.5k) + Platemail Leg/Skirt (64k) + Long Sword (32k) = 180.5k gp value.Posted Image
  • Co-Leaders win: Chainmail Body (50k) + Platemail Leg/Skirt (64k) = 114k value.Posted Image
A Few Words of Advice:

  • Tip #1: In order to gain popularity among your rank members, offer more assistance, events, aid or advice than the other rank leaders and co-leaders.
  • Tip #2: Don't be my rank co-leader if you want to win. Dominion/Kire667 shall always be excluded from contests/prizes, which are hosted by the NGoR.

Ketiov will vote BHC cuz BHC squashes noobs. So, you can't really have a fair vote because people will think that white knights are noobish. And nobody likes noobs.

Man thats like saying people think the black knights are noobish. Besides just cause Vergil_4 was a white knight leader they can never be noobs again. Most members are leaders, co-leaders,admins or mods. With a smaller group of council and then a minority of knights. People will vote Purple and Blue knights cause they the 2 highest ranked.

I'm Neutral so for each month i'll change my vote lol. This month I voted for BHC so i'll vote for GHC next or something...
There should be a rule though... you can't vote for your own rank. But then we'd never know. And because Dominion is the leader of the Black Knights no one can vote for them so......... if we don't do that rule then the Black Knights shouldn't vote until like a week before and the 2 highest ranks we vote on.

Yeah I don't mid if I don't win. I mean this vote comes down to a personal choice not how much the leaders help. If anything you need to have the Leaders, and Co. vote. But then again it's a popularity contest. I guess we have to live with what we're dealt.

Ok I'll explain it. First, BHC is Blue High Council and GHC is Green High Council, like Smokerz_r_Jokerz said. In Jan, I voted for BHC so in Feb i'm gonna vote for GHC. I said there should be a rule about voting for our own rank. That it shouldn't be allowed. But, how do we know if someone didn't vote for their own rank? And because Dominion isn't King, and he doesn't want the prize, he elimnates the Black Knight Rank. So the Black Knights should be the sorta like the tie-breaker. 1 Week before it ends, the Black Knights should vote between the 2 highest ranks that are winning.

There. Is that more explained?
