Magic Training Arena (MTA) Click here to check the store value of all Magic Training Arena items. The store is on the 2nd floor of the Magic Training Arena, to the far north end. The guide below will epxlain the things you encounter while at the Magic Training Arena. Yes, it is a waste of a LOT of runes, and time you could be leveling skills. But if you want the new spell, "Bones to Peaches", as well as the new magic gear and wands, then it is worthwhile. The runes are WAY over priced, compared to that of Mage Arena or Magic Guild values. I have yet to bother checking if you can sell your runes to that store for points, but perhaps that's the use of the runes. Saves time from doing lame training, if you sell runes there. But it is still a huge waaste of money you can make, while you high alchemy each Strung Yew Long Bow for 768 gp -- using 1 Nature rune. But, for those who still care to bother, here it is. Alchemy Training Begin by searching the cubboards for items. The higher value on the list at top right the item is, the more points for "Alchemy Pizazz" you gain per use of the "Alchemy" or "High Alchemy" spell. ![]() ![]() I doubt it matters which one you use on the item, in you gain the same experience per cast for your "Alchemy Pizazz" points. Enchantment Training Begin bu going to one of the corners of the room, and filling your inventory with 1 of the various types of items from a color pile of your choice. You gain +1 "nchantment Pizazz" point per successful castof ANY enchant jewelry spell on the item listed at bottom right of your screen. So, save time and bring just a Water Staff and Cosmis runes, in order to save as many runes as possible for a purposefull cast when you need it later, out of the Magic Training Arena. ![]() Once done or full, you can place your "orbs" int othe center hole. It saves time, if you are leaving, to just leave. All of the items vanish magically once you exit the room the same way you entered. Graveyard Training You will take 2 damage every 5 seconds while in this room. So, before you enter, make sure you are prepared for this. The rumor is you don't lose items if you die here, but I have yet to test this out for fact. Enter the room, and head directly to one of the 4 corners. Stock on some bones. The number at your bottom right explains how much fruit you will get per cast on that bone type. Either use your "Bones to Bananas" or "Bones to Peaches" spell, in order to maek the collected bones into either fruit type. Once you have done this, find one of the side walls, and click it to deposit your inventory of fruit on 1 click. You MAY get 1 type of rune in return, but you will always gain +1 "Graveyard Pizazz" point per load.Telekinesis Training Each room gives you 1 maze to navigate your statue through. To move the statue in a direct line (until it hits a wall), stand on the side you wish to "pull" the statue to, then cast Telekinetic Grab on the statue. The mazes are fairly simple, but it requires anywhere from 5-10 Law runes per maze, and you only gain +2 "Telekinetic Pizazz" points per maze completed. Not to mention, IF you lag out, you will have wasted all of your Law runes for nothing, for the maze resets, and you are magically teleported to the Magic Training Arena enterance.

Great guide, Dom. Was fun hanging out with you there last night. Thanks for showing me the ropes and helping me to get the special "santa" hat. I only have 313 credits, but I hope to someday buy the cool technicolor wizard robes. Wow, I want those so bad! (Wtf, tho, you need like 15k just for top and bottom!) Here are my additional tips for the Enchantment Room: 1). Click on the hole in the Enchantment Room to drop the orbs. I was clicking each orb then the hole, took a long time. Fred18 said just click the hole, then they all go at once. Whew, nice time saver. 2) Your idea about hanging in just the red/green (or any color room really) room saves time too. Just hang until the bonus color changes and enchant away. I like to just stock up on one or two colors then go up to orb drop hole for quick deposit before stocking again. (Bring minimal stuff to room- you want to fill it with the blocks) 3) Bring runes for tellie grab- dragon stones drop randomly but you gotta be quick to beat out the other mages in the room. So, what good are the magic wands that you can buy? There were people outside offering good money for them.... Thanks again. Marvelous work. :Woot: |
