Well I just played it. It's like the first 1 Blind Guy. Oh, for people who play this, lemme just say, the ending is twisted!

The walkthrough is at http://jayisgames.com/exmortis2walkthrough.htm

Note, Exmortis 2 is rated mature for Mild Nudity (Not really, I didn't see any when I played it), Excessive Violence, Mild Audible Explicit Language, Excessive Textual Explicit Language, Excessive Adult Themes.

Okay, well I haven't got around to seeing this game until now. Why didn't anyone tell me, so I could make a guide for either of the 2 great games? I love puzzle games, like Myst, even though they lacked action such as this has (thought it's funny when you first exit the church on Exmortis 2, and that zombie hops on the roof and then comes for you.

Of any PC action shooter puzzle fans, it reminds me of the game Nocturne, thought in that you are a part of a organization that includes vampires (half-breeds), and are some sort of Dic Tracy in the group, with zombie gangsters and so forth (takes place during the mafia days).

This game owns, that is if you are mature enough to embrace the reality it holds within the full storyline, not just the puzzle, action, and that's it.

So, the first one you play as the character which also appears in the 2nd game. But even though it seems scary at times, once you read the journal of the husband of the house (game 2: chapter 2), and reach the 3 pages of the journal which are in the kitchen of the house... it was even more sadening (and yes, I cried) than the part in Star Wars: Episode III, when Anikan Skywalker killed off all the kids at the Jedi Temple.

So far so good, and I loved the storyline to the first one, even though I gave up and just read the walkthrough for it. I'm definitely going back to beat the full game of part 1 later, to read all of the dialogue/journals of the game, and actually see the visuals. Too bad for word filtering, I can not type out the journal nor the storyline really as to Exmortis 2, but that is the best part so far, and I'm usually strict when it comes to critism on a decent back story, along with build up to the climax of a game.

This one is deffo more scary than the first. But it's a lot easier. But, I guess it was longer than the first.

I was playing this in more or less dark all on my own no one else in the house, i had to keep lookin behind me i thought something was creeping up on me and now im too scared to get up and go to the toilet and i realy need a p*ss after playin that.

That journal in the kitchen.. sad (yes, guys cry) July 24, 2006

Okay, well the first part was great storyline of the ending twist, and how you can not escape fate/destiny. This just builds even more so on such theory, showing that religion wasa hoax, and peoples' false trust in something of myth, just as the Greeks and Romans before us. Even though I have to go out on a limb from my beliefs on that aspect, I cried when I finally found the last 3 pages of that journal, at chapter 2's kitchen.

I loved what you did, and it is amazing that it is so recently made, same year I am actually playing it, even though I'm amazed I haven't seen the game until now (even part 1). But bravo, and much hope for a 3rd part (if your sleep, wife, and storyline permits.. haven't completed the 2nd story just yet, but had to stop to give my feedback on a great backstory to build up to the present in which the game takes place. Loved them news articles on the wall.

Well, when I get the time or care to, I might go into detail by quoting the entire journal form Exmortis 2. That thing was great, though it took me at least 30+ minutes or so to finish reading, and I even had to read some parts over, because of the feeling the game designer put into his game, and the backstory to it all.

Playing a game for a game isn't enough. You need ot get into the mood, before you can actually bother with beating it. I did that on Exmortis 1, and felt like it wasn't as much of an impack on my outlook on life, because I beat the game for itself, before going back the 2nd time through, and seeing the story behind the guy you kill near the end.

I updated the first post of this thread. The 3rd part of this game is currently being created, so I provided the link to his official website of the game.

Once it is released, and if I have yet to post a response to this thread, someone inbox me, so that perhaps I can be the first to have the guide for it, and to offer to the world whom search on Google for one (oh yeah, and of course to provide to our own members who play the game.

Just found the actual news post regarding the current project.

Exmortis3 Storyline Tidbits

More tidbits for you on the Exmortis3 storyline... My main reasons for being a tad cagey about plot specifics thus far is because nothing has been firmly set in stone until now...

As I have previously alluded towards, you certainly do reprise your role as Mr. Hannay. Let's just say that revenge is not something he is consumed with at the beginning of the game... he is destitute and resigned to a fate of eternally roaming the spirit realm with no way back to the world he once knew.

Yes, that's right people. You're stuck in the spirit world again after being on the wrong end of an almighty smackdown at the hands of Vlaew (ie. the Exmortis2 twist conclusion)... During the game I probably won't be explaining the specifics as to why you ended up back in the spirit realm, so I'll just clear that plot point up now for you...

After going through the ritual in Exmortis2 (the one that transported you to the spirit realm), your soul was forever anchored to that world. As a result, you are effectively immortal. All Vlaew did by 'killing' you in Exmortis2 was expel your soul back to the spirit world. And considering that you completed your Exmortis2 objective in destroying the portal between the ethereal and corporeal worlds, you now find yourself stranded with no way back to Earth.

But an opportunity to exact a swift revenge upon Lord Vlaew will literally fall in to your lap. Will Mr.Hannay ever make it back home? And if so, how much time has passed since your "quick death" at the hands of the Ancient? How has the world changed? And how has mankind changed? Will there even be a mankind left to return to?

Wooooooooo..... epic! :)
